I go to Jcpenny to the massage therapist. Her name is Michelle & she gives the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had . I discovered her about a year ago now and I travel from Florence which is about an hour and a half away just to receive her services. She is professionals, makes you feel very comfortable and highly experienced in her field. I have never been dissatisfied with her massages. I am able to come in get on the table and she knows exactly what my body needs without me having to tell her ! I rate her a 10 highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wonderful massage she’s the best I have ever been too . And a bonus she’s very affordable! I actually don’t think she charges enough for the quality service you receive.

Stood in line for 20 minutes to make a return just to be told returns are only handled at the register in Home Dept. Very inconvenient. The only person getting a star today is Dianne in Home goods who got me to smile

Ive been to numerous JCPs in the Carolinas. This is one of the cleanest, most well stocked, and had the nicest employees of any of them. Its refreshing to walk into a store to spend your hard earned money and have them employees be helpful and courteous. I felt valued as a customer. The rest of Grand Strand Mall could take some lessons. Congratulations JCP on a job well done!

I normally wont post a negative review however the woman working in the mattress department this past Sunday August 8, 2021 should be FIRED! My husband & I shopping for a high end mattress & she was completely rude & unprofessional. Told us probably 12 weeks for delivery (which I found out was untrue). She grabbed a remote control right out of my husbands hand like he was a 2 year old. Then would not answer any questions & walked away from us. She then proceeded to follow us through the drapery dept staring at us & making comments under her breath. Darling you lost customers for life. We make well over 6 figures but will never spend another dime in your establishment

I was shopping w my 17 y.o. grandson who had no idea of what size he wore. The first hour Was really aggravating because i couldnt find any sales help. Then i found M.J. and he saved the day. We left w 5 shirts, 3 shorts and 2 slacks. With a 50% off sale and a tax free w/e the total was $230 that i felt was still over priced. Dont think Ill go back to JCP again.

This store has so many pretty dresses for petite women and skinny women but when I went to look at the plus size dresses the dresses weren’t that pretty they looked nothing the the petite dresses I hope jcpenney isn’t excluding plus size women

I rather give them zero stars. Four associates in the jewelry department only two customers walking around including me. And they didnt greet me or give me the time of day. They even pushed me out of the way to help the other guest and to clean the cases. I really wanted to buy gifts. But even when they were finished with the one other guest. They completely ignored me and didnt ask if I needed any help. Guess Ill order online or go somewhere else. Thanks for nothing.

I had to stop in at Sephora to get my free birthday gift! Love that they help make my birthday better by giving me such awesome presents. The Kat von d gift this month is awesome!! Just got to keep it from my teenager! Lol

My family and I love JC Penney for clothes shopping. For some reason it seems really hot in their stores. We shopped in Bridgeport WV and here in Myrtle Beach with both being hot stores. Somebody needs to turn up the AC!

POS Associate was not willing to take necessary action to accommodate the stores coupons..argued it wouldnt work without the use of the stores credit card..the coupon stated could be used with other payment.. The transaction should have taken 2 minutes but it took 8 minutes. They showed no concern to move the lines with expediency. I would suggest self checkout.. People should stop blaming COVID for human error.

Got the worse experience in my life at jewelry section. Bought a necklace came home and the chain was in the knot broken. Came the next day and she offered me to pay almost half price for protection plan to fix the chain. Went to other jewelry store in mall and they gave me a silver chain for free. Awful, never will be back there

Nice clean store, unfortunately we bought things online and then found out most locations had closed, so we drove an hour. If it was not CoVid I would tie in a trip to the beach!

Make sure to check all the prices before you checking out, otherwise they charge you more

I always find a lot of things I like there

I enjoy coming here sometimes but the older lady at the register has a snarky attitude. I was purchasing a sweatshirt off the clearance rack and as it said 1/2 off the lowest price, I went to the register and she wanted to charge me full price. I said multiple times that it was off a half off rack and she spoke to me in the most condescending tone that no hoodie would ever be $10 in JCP, (It was a summer sale anyways so yes it was $10) and got loud to tell me I was wrong in a line full of people, rolling her eyes while she’s at it. Maybe she should go and look down every clearance rack in the store if that’s the case, and while she’s at it she can take a proper class in not being rude towards customers asking a simple question. Not to mention she took off her mask while ringing up customers and blamed it on “carbon monoxide” build up, so unless you breathe in car exhaust in the store you don’t have Carbon Monoxide poisoning so please don’t make a scene about it.

Went looking for curtains. Sale prices were signed in department but didnt come up in register. Came home and checked online where there was an additional percentage off but in store would not match price. They are driving themselves out of the brick and mortar business.....

Dealt with janice at the cash. She did an awesome job. Rang all our kids through separately as they were buying their own clothes. She was very patient.

Typical JC Penney store in terms of size & stock. Its clean & the shelves/displays are kept tidy as well. The one complaint that I have is the staff/service. If any of the four or five employees that we had an interaction with had (at the very least) cracked a smile or if theyd been able to answer a question or speak at all & keep themselves from rolling their eyes practically into the back of their heads, I might - heavy emphasis on might - have considered giving them another star. This is unfortunately very similar to the majority of the experiences Ive had with this chain.

Young lady needs more education about photography. She was quite pleasant but had no creativity with the subjects. Please spend more time with practicing a photo shoot!

Salon is GREAT! Debbie is the Best Stylist ever. As far as for color, highlights, fast and thorough, youll never get anyone better than her. You matter to her. She wants you to be pleased! Give her a try. You wont regret it!!
