Very friendly workers. Quick to ask you do you need help finding something. They explain the product I was looking at. Purchase about $225 worth of merchandise.

Went into the store to purchase the cute little turquoise Kenmore mini fridge. Went straight to the product, it was on sale! Bonus!! Employees left and right moving around, one gentleman in a black shirt & khakis was helping a couple with a $600 purchase. A male employee wearing a dark blue shirt was sitting in the tool section, on his cell phone the entire time, never looking up. After about 20 minutes, the dark blue gent ganders up and asked if he could help me. No, thank you. I was fully intending to give my sale to the fella that had the customer with a thousand wishes. After about 30 minutes, the sale was complete. As I walked up, the gent with the black shirt goes over to sidle up to the blue shirt phone surfer and commenced to discuss the $600 sale! Time’s up! Fed up! And SEARS wonders WHY???? SEARS, you lost another sale and potentially many more to come.

Wow. What a change from what Sears used to be. Clearance and going out of business. So few things left but a few good deals left.

Store is closing some good value to be had but very limited and some items not really marked down enough to be if value. Staff is ready to help but very limited staff at this time.

Completely changed the store. More varieties. Trying to get younger crowds with all the college shirts etc. Sad how tools are pretty much gone. Nice tool boxes for beginners and ar home. Nice patio furniture and grilling accessories

Appliance department helpful and most of all knowledgeable about all aspects of our purchase and setting up installation of great Kenmore brand appliance. Way above knowledge levels of ANY big box stores by far.

Staff at jewelry department ( no customers waiting or being served) was not helpful and said go to another department for a price scan. No scanners for customer use were worker. The new staff were having difficulty and there were many people waiting.When it is holiday shoppers they need to have all department registers available to serve customers when there are staff working in those departments.I will not be back which Im sure wont matter since it looks like it is going to be closing from the looks of the products available.

Looking for that special dress for a special occasion and long coat to cover. Pleasantly surprised to find both here at a reasonable price. Trying to find my way around was a bit confusing as I didnt see clearly marked sections. Hard to find someone to ask for help. Finally found someone who was friendly, helpful, and walked me right to what I needed. This was the first time I shopped Sears in years. Found some great bargains in my limited time but will go back and check out some other areas. Reasonable pricing, well displayed, nice selection but confusing floor plan. I was happy to get in and out with all I needed quickly.

Very good sales found exactly what I needed, but it was like a kid going into the candy store. Great customer service. Hopefully Myrtle Beach will not lose this American heritage like so many of the other cities and towns around the country with Sears stores closing.

Your appliances are way over priced. Went to buy a dishwasher and ended up walking right back out!! You need to price check yourself with home depot.

Number of infants furniture on display. None in stock. Was told they werent getting anymore of any of it.... asked why is had been on display still for so long... got a shoulder shrug. And this was after inspecting a display set up to see what all functions product had and being approached by an employee like I was going to be able to fit a whole display crib in my purse and walk out with it, if we are not allowed to use display to explore products then dont display. And if you dont carry the products anymore then why still have displays up with super rude associates and no manager available in the whole store.

I was at Sears yesterday at Grandstand Mall. Clothing every where without any orientation. I went upstairs and found the kids clothing along with the plus women sizes. I asked the manager why would you put plus women sizes upstairs not with the woman clothing downstairs.. I told the manager that if I was the plus women that I would file for discrimination.. thats wrong and its not right to separate the plus women sizes from the women clothing.. the manager got upset at me when I asked that and she told me that she was told too.

I placed an order online cyber Monday. When my order was delivered, my order was not right. I went to Myrtle Beach SC on Dec 17 to see if l could get help. My experience was Awesome!! Brittany was the young lady who helped me. Terrific customer service!!!

It seems like no one goes to Sears anymore but I always seem to pop in there and see what they have on sale sometime as much as 90% off all gray items like hoodies seasonal clothing and much much more I left with three bags full for $60 of clothes put up for the upcoming school year

It was like a ghost town. The tools department was poorly stocked. Only one checkout open on an entire floor.

Decided that we needed a portable air conditioner to run on the generator in case we lost power for a few days. Went to Home Depot and Lowes, no luck. Went on Sears website, found the size we needed, ordered it for pickup, and saved money. Fast, friendly service as well.

Sad to see that they are going out of business. Prices theoretically 20-70% off, but I still found that most of the items I looked at were still high.

Was actually very surprised at the number of appliances on the sales floor.The staff the day I went unfortunately was horrible. Pushy sales lady that could not take a hint. Trying desperately to get us to sign up for a credit card or purchase Kenmore. We told her several times that we just wanted to browse on our own.Ended up just going to a different retailer despite Sears running a really great promotion we were hoping to capitalize on.

The sales prices are great at the moment. They could use more cashiers. They have more rude cashiers than other stores, but not every one was rude.

Lots of sales & HUGE clearance. Good luck in finding an employee to help assist, they are very few left in the store. The store itself was super clean. Makes me wonder if this Myrtle Beach store is going to close their doors like so many others.

Do not ever buy appliances from this store or allow them to offer you their charge account. They start at one figure and add and add parts and pieces and services. You should never trust anything said by a sales person named Rob Reilly. Great at selling and great at forgetting his customers and promises.

I absolutely love this store and all the sales they run. I have been growing up with Sears all my life. They are definitely a blessing to the consumers and I hope they do not close up!!!! Mostly all the employees are very nice at this location and very helpful.

So disappointed that the Barboursville West Virginia location is closing. Bought my tires at Sears and I get my oil changed there too. Unfortunately, with Barboursville West Virginia location closed, I had to use a few hours of my vacation and find one in Myrtle Beach. The guys were so helpful and kind. Oil changed, tires rotated and I was good to go. I highly recommend Sears Automotive in Myrtle Beach.

Sears Canada is gone. I used to enjoy the Scarborough Town Center location. Too bad one star because it sad. One less choice for consumers many more online. Still I like browsing in a store more. I guess that makes me old. Good luck to all Sears employees.

Ever want to see an example why Sears is going bankrupt AGAIN! Visit Sears at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach! Went in wanting to buy a new Craftsman Tool chest, some tools, and a Kayak! Tools section was good, but the prices were awful! When I confronted the employee on the price in comparison to the exact tool chest at Lowes he stated, looks like you need to go to Lowes! I should have taken the hint right then. Ne t I walked over to sporting goods section where half the displays were empty and half of what was left wasnt priced. I attempted to ask an employee about the price of the Kayaks and was advised she would get me someone who worked in that area. After waiting for 30 minutes I decided to walk upstairs to which point I was hit with the musky odor of mold and the view of tarps draped from the ceiling tiles like it was some kind of third world shanty! I just left and went to Lowes where the service is about the same but I ended up spending $3500 on a new 4 piece craftsman tool chest, and a ton of new tools. Picked up a new Kayak at Walmart!

Got the 2.0 AMP VARIABLE SPEED MULTI TOOL FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT AND USED IT TWICE AND IT STOPPED WORKING AND SEARS REFUSED TO GIVE THE WARRANTY IT COMES WITH BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A RECEIPT, hello it was a CHRISTMAS PRESENT. Never Ever will I step foot in another sears 💯💯💯💯

Got cheated and had to pay full price for a jacket I purchased while on sale.. on vacation. Then when I tried to contact management, I couldnt get in touch with anyone in the clothing department, or any other department until I asked for the tool department.. Then when I tried to talk with the manager they were always busy. Terrible store, terrible customer service. Highly unsatisfied!

HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY! I bought $200 worth of shirts one day. The shirt sizes were inconsistent so I went back 34 days after my purchase to EXCHANGE for a smaller size. They would not allow it because the 30 day return timeframe had passed. I can understand them having issues with a return, but all I wanted was a simple exchange of the same style and name brand of shirt, simply in a smaller size. No go. To me, the solution was so simple... I get what I want, Im happy and Id probably return to shop again and THEY WOULD BE OUT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Instead Im extremely frustrated and will never buy anything from Sears again. I dont understand how they think this is a good business model? Maybe thats why Sears is going out of business. Remember to consider that if you purchase something with a warranty at Sears, itd probably be best to buy it elsewhere. Ive told my story multiple times and more often than not, the person that I am talking to states that theyve experienced or heard similar stories about Sears. Do NOT shop at Sears. This location is in a mall with many other stores. Why purchase from a store like Sears when there are so many other options within walking distance that have acceptable EXCHANGE policies?!?

For lack of better words its like a ghost store. Seems basically like an entrance or walkthrough to the remainder of the mall. Sometimes there is some good stuff and mostly it seems sort of empty in a way even though there is stuff on the shelves. Otherwise fair prices and fairly decent employees.

It’s been 8 months now and the air conditioner I bought is still not repaired or replaced. I keep getting a runaround email or phone message from Mr Arthur Spence in their corporate Strategic Member Support office. 8 months.... NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS

The first clerk was nice and helpful. When we were down stairs, there was no one to help us. There was also a lady in a wheelchair waiting to be waited on. No one came so we put our purchases down and left.

Have tried 5 departments on the phone and could not get someone to answer. They phone system huge up twice and actually sent me to a voicemail 3 other times. Trying to get my item from an online order that was supposed to be in yesterday. How can a company this size have voicemail still. Imagine calling Walmart and going to voicemail. Time to close for good. F- for customer care and service.

Store had an awful smell upon entering. Had an old unwelcoming feel. Associate in appliances was very pushy and quite annoying when he wouldnt leave my husband and i alone after we told him multiple times we were just looking.

Visited this Sears location for an Avis car rental issue. Terrible customer service. One person behind the desk who Im not sure has the best people skills. Had multiple disagreements with customers before I made it to the counter and was totally unhelpful to me. He advised that I should go to the Airports rental location which wasnt convenient for me especially after I had waited in line for almost an hour there. My advice is to skip this location TOTALLY. Just go to the airport. The service is better, theyre nicer, and they actually have cars to rent at that location. This location should be closed.

Sears has been very helpful in finding the right appliances for my new home and the best deals. The customer service representatives were very polite and we didnt have to wait but a few seconds before someone from the Pick Up department was able to assist us when we went back to get our appliances. Ive been back twice since then and everything was perfect, we did wait a few minutes before someone was able to assist us when we went back to pick up another appliance (which was no big deal, I didnt mind waiting bc they looked busy) but when they came out to help us they were extremely apologetic and even gave me 20% off on my next purchase. I highly recommend Sears!
