Used to be great discount store. Now half of store is furniture. Used to have great garden supplies. Went for a couple plant pots.They removed gardening completely and flooded with halloween season stuff. Next Christmas stuff. Have to search for food deals Food Lion groceries down two stores some times cheaper.

We came in and purchased $700 worth of product.. we had assistance with the furniture, but reluctantly. Kathleen helped us, but was less than pleasant. She complained the entire time about having no help and had an attitude with other employees, as well as us. I hope she didn’t earn commission. I personally run a multi million dollar store and would be appalled if my employees acted this way.

Big Lots has really upped their game in recent years. You can buy everything from a couch to qutips. We get food items from Poland and other countries that are excellent. Great garden section with quality outdoor furniture. Home decor is cute. If you havent been to Big Lots recently, you need to go.

They now have an excellent display of Broyhill and Serta furniture. Had a much better price than most furniture stores.

Late opening doors to the public, walked by door multiple times, with more than a few customers waiting for doors to be unlocked. The associate (not sure of actual title) open doors around 9:12 A.M, and then quickly walked off. No greeting, no smile, no nothing from her. I wasnt too upset at that... all the other employees were the same. They must have all been hired the same day and took the same training...at least it was consistent behavior.The store itself lacks items of necessity and items that most Big Lots carry. If you are looking for a living room couch or chairs while at the beach, they definitely have you covered. If youre looking for socks, shaving cream or a reasonably priced pack of washcloths...you coming up short here.

Better than the one in Syracuse NY. I wonder why? Is it the owner..floor model set up..corporate send help! Mattydale location needs assistance ASAP.

Its a big lots with a variety of products to choose from.. Furniture, household, laundry items. Whatever you need to make your trip/vacation more enjoyable.

Had a great experience with Robin the manager she got us the living room set that we wanted when the night assistantManger was to lazy the night before to check for us . He just wanted to go out to smoke instead of checking the back for the set we wanted.So if you need anything ask for Robin she was so helpful and nice!!! We were in and out in less than 20 minutes.

The checkout people are always pleasant. Cant get any help on the floor..

North Myrtle Beach had exactly what I desired. Onsite sales reps from register to floor informed me I could not purchase the display unit and offered no assistance in helping with the purchase within the store. The knowledge of customer satisfaction did not exist. I was directed to go online and find what i wanted. Why is this store open?

We went to two locations. The first was in Conway. I was reared badly by aa associate. When I inquired about a chair he said out of stock and walked away. Made no offer to show me something else or try to contact other stores or anything. He just left us there looking for a recliner. The second location was the Myrtle Beach store. When I inquired about recliners he explained that the two I liked were out of stock and he said delivery would be 4 to 6 weeks. But he offered to call th North Myrtle Beach store for me. I am elderly and handicapped. The treatment I got from the Myrtle Beach sore was greatly appreciated.

Ordered furniture, havent recieved it. Saw online no longer available online or in store. Havent received communication from big lots about status of my order. Where is my couch?

It was clean, we found what we needed, but there wasnt a big selection of choices, and it took the cashier almost 25 minutes to get through each person in line.

Not helpful. Both ladies working had a very bad attitude, acted like it was a bother to wait on you or answer a question, especially in the furniture department. They need a lesson in manners and how to work with the public. we only asked a question about a coupon we had to use. Hopefully we wont have to go back to that location.

Wow! Since when did Big Lots become such a nice store? I have to admit, I almost had to do a double-take to make sure I was really at Big Lots. The store is clean and bright, and surprisingly well merchandised. Prices are still pretty decent, but it is very easy to drop a hundred bucks here because there are so many things you didnt know you couldnt live without.

Friendly and helpful associates.Now the store is remodeled and it is larger and very clean, but you cant find anything! Larger store, less stuff, higher prices. Too bad. Whenever I go in there I can never find what I want. Most food is much cheaper at Food Lion next door now.What used to be a good place to find what you wanted at bargain prices is no longer.

This store was impressive...the remodel had us drop our jaws. Did find it to be a little expensive for Christmas decorations. Didnt find the style of bows/Christmas paper that they usually carried. We walked around and not one associate acknowledged us with either a hello or assistance.
