Donuts have always been exceptional. Only reason for a 2 star is a 1 hour wait time. Didnt see any sence of urgency in filling orders. Lady taking orders stopped taking orders 3 or more times to help finishing area. 1 lady in finishing area stops to refill containers. Donut maker guy finally helps out there. 1 lady running back and forth acting like shes getting something done. She should have been refilling the stations. Everyone needs a little more pep in their step. Accept for the young black lady at the front, she did an exceptional job. She could smile. Everyone needed to act like they enjoyed their job. We dont have to shop with Duck Donuts. Also my box was covered in several glazes top and bottom. Now my vehicle is sticky. Pictures attached of box and receipt.

We love Duck donuts. And even though we have them back home, they are just that good to go to on vacation too! The staff here is SUPER helpful and kind! Great experience!

I LOVE coming to Duck Donuts when I’m on vacation! Their cake donuts and coffee are so good. Yes you often have to wait but keep in mind it’s because they’re made to order. I always find it worth it! I would give 5 stars if the presentation of the donuts were a bit better.

Yummy donuts. Get your coupon in the monster book for 3 off a dozen. Made fresh in front of you and still warm when you get them.

Artisan donuts. Handmade to order while you wait. This isnt the four wide industrial volume of the chain with the red neon. These are made in small batch fryers (see pictures) when theyre ordered. The array of toppings, dipped, drizzled and the like can almost be overwhelming. However, if you dont like what you get, its your own fault - you designed it! Handmade takes time so dont expect to rush in and out like fast food. Its worth the wait!

We have eaten here so many times. Donuts are amazing. This morning we had the best service we have ever had. Two young people helped us. One took our order and made the coffee and the other made our donuts to perfection. They were both very helpful and very courteous. They were working so hard. I appreciate good service and kindness. Can’t wait to come back soon! Hope these two will be there when I get back.

First time eating here and it was amazing! The donuts melt in ur mouth! My favorite is Bacon in the sun, its heaven on earth! Best donut place hands down!

It took us 30 minutes of standing in line before we got to place our order and another 10 before we got the donuts. Was the 40 minutes worth it? Just passes with a yes, it was worth the wait. They taste amazing and look beautiful. The employees were friend and apologized for the wait multiple times.. The cashier still took the time to explain the menu since we were first time customers.. Everyone in the store, including all the customers were wearing masks. I do wish they would have limited the amount if customers inside but at least they all had masks.

So yummy! A little pricey than your average donut but these arent your average donuts. Both staff members there were wonderful and interacted with our toddler making it a memorable experience

First time getting donuts here and we will most definitely be back. By far some of the best donuts Ive ever had.

This was the first time I tried duck donuts and have been in love ever since!!! At the time I was there they were doing curbside pick up, but I went in the store.Seeing as this was my first time there I wanted to see the inside of the place. I ordered quite a few donuts for family and everyone enjoyed their choices.The donut satisfied my sweet tooth and left me wanting more for the (next time). Im soooooo happy that there is one closer to my house, so I can enjoy these tasty treats more often.

I was pleasantly surprised by the creative and efficiency of this place!! I’m not sure how many of these stores they have open, but I’m familiar with them from Greenville, SC. Highly recommend anything they offer.

Its a unique donut shop. Its all one type of donut, with a large amount of toppings you choose. It IS expensive. To my family, its a novelty type place for when company is here to visit, they also have sandwiches, made with donuts I believe... we give it 1 thumb up 👍

The BEST donuts I have ever had!! A must try if you are even remotely close to one. Cake type donuts made to order with dips/toppings and drizzles of your choice. Still warm when you get home.( if they make it that far!)

This is one of those places you plan on going to when on vacation (good thing we dont have one close to us). Donuts are AMAZING! They are so soft and tasty, better than your normal donut. Love the variety of options and really hope they keep the current banana flavor, that was my favorite!!! We had about a 1/ 2 hour wait in line which was out the door, but staff was working hard to keep things going. Only thing Id change for going in person is to have a menu available when you first walk in the door. Being able to make selections before you get to the cashier wouldve made things move faster, but now that we know you can order online, thats what well do next time.

Tried to get donuts one evening only to realize their hours were reduced to 7am to 5pm due to staff issues. That’s fine I understand that. However, got up the next morning and went around 8:30am only to arrive at the store to be told we could not order donuts for another 45 minutes due to someone calling out. Poor management at its finest. I get it everyone is currently dealing with staffing issues but it should not take 2 hours to figure out a game plan for someone calling out for the day.

Duck donuts is not the place to just run by to get some basic glazed donuts. This place is an experience! Watching them take fresh warm naked donuts and turn them into a decadent masterpiece was so fun! As pretty as these are, these donuts taste 100 times better than they look. I will definitely go back for more!

Visited Myrtle Beach from Atlanta for Spring Break and found Duck Donuts online as a great place for donuts. The reviews told no lies! The donuts are amazing!! Staff was very nice and the wait was not long for a place that makes your order as you wait. The key lime was fabulous as well as the bare. They were all good - fresh, moist, delicious. Will definitely be going back before we head home in a couple of days.

I’ve had Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, Peace, Love and little doughnuts and now, crème de la crème of doughnuts, Duck Doughnuts. You ask how they came up with the name? Creator and founder started the chain on the sandy beaches of the Outer banks of Duck, North Carolina. It was not busy on a Saturday afternoon, which gave us plenty of time to be overwhelmed by the variety and smells. One starts with the Classic vanilla doughnut or the new chocolate cake donut. Then you move on to a wide variety of toppings and your order is nicely crafted right in front of you in a very short order. My first taste of Duck heaven came in the sweet, lovin’ mouthful of the Maple Bacon. Vanilla cake donut drizzled with maple icing and warm, crisp chopped bacon. Also on the menu is coffee, espresso, sundaes and one can even venture out to try a morning breakfast sandwich with your choice of breakfast items between a warm doughnut. Staff was friendly and very helpful in their suggestions. One can only see one drawback, one “will” be returning.

Horrible serviceRude, unprofessional, and refused to refund overcharge. Bought two 1/2 dozen boxes but charged for 12 single donuts which cost more. Myra Brown stated that “corporate makes them charge like that”. Repeatedly spoke down to me which was embarrassing. The asst. manager took control and gave me a refund. Either corporate is cheating customers...or she is. Watch you receipts!

Great place that makes warm donuts to order. You get to choose your own toppings or pick one of their creations. A wonderful treat for the end of our vacation.

Well we stopped for coffee. Found out that the donuts are amazing. Staff is amazing and the food and drink were so good and fresh. The donut was even warm.

Yeah the donuts are nice but be prepared for a long wait. The workers stand around talking and not completing orders. After a hour and a half wait when we walked in and only 2 people in front of us.. the cute donuts do not make this worth it. If the workers actually did their job and moved at a faster pace.. maybe it would be worth it. Or just order online and get to skip the line of people that ordered in person over an hour ago.

The absolute best donuts! I’m from Charlotte and was pleasantly surprised to find a Duck Donuts location in Myrtle Beach while on vacation. We picked up some today for my birthday, and they were so good- as usual. They make the best donuts ever. The lemon icing is my favorite, but the maple icing and the seasonal flavors like pumpkin are also definitely worth trying. Even the plain “bare” donuts are amazing. I think that’s what makes them so good- the awesome cake donut base plus flavor combinations. Best served warm, but if they cool off, heat them up in the microwave for 15 seconds.

They make ALL the donuts to order. And they are VERY VERY good. I had one covered in Vanilla icing with Raspberry drizzle. Absolutely delicious. This is NOT a DD or Krispy Cream. This is Heaven for those who loc=ve donuts.

I came here around 7:30 am on Friday, July 16th. The line was already out the door! The staff inside were all hustling and keeping things moving as best as they could. All the while, serving up donuts with a smile! The young brunette girl (seemed to be a manager maybe) was soooo friendly despite the craziness of the long line and being short staffed! They were also well worth the wait!!! Thank you for being amazing!

Duck donuts has a fenominal product, they are warm and delicious. The woman taking orders hates her job and it showed. The service here was painfully slow. I watched the gentlemen finishing the donuts, they appeared to be working in slow motion. There wasnt a smile on anyones face. The concept of teamwork is definitely lost here.

The donuts here are delicious, although pricey. They made up the donuts fresh and there was no wait. We got a half dozen of different flavors. My favorites were the Maple bacon donut and the Oreo donut. So yummy. The staff were also amazing.

We had this in Charlotte before. Love them, but they need more faster help. Waited way too long in line. Need something who can more a line like they do in Charlotte.

The wait even at 7:35 am was insane! But it was well worth it. We got a customized dozen for the 5 of us. They were amazing! And the staff handled being slammed so well! Super efficient! Loved the lady at the counter. Was slammed and always welcoming and greeting people as they came in. I wouldnt recommend their Macchiatos, I paid $5 for 3 (lg) of them and only 1 was really touched lol. But the donuts and hubbys breakfast sandwich, were more than enough for the over $35 we paid!

If youve never tasted fresh made donuts this is the place to go. There is a long long long wait. Part of that wait is due to the way the donuts are made to order the other is that the business model does not make for a quick turnaround. They make only cake donuts and you chose the toppings. They are warm and fresh when you order but other than that they dont stand out. The flavored glazes are weak and not that spectacular. If there is a line out the door I would go somewhere else.

Weve been to many Duck Donuts (including the original in Duck!) and this one didnt disappoint. Excellent staff- friendly, helpful, and patient.The donuts were beautifully made...as a matter of fact, they looked better than any in the past. Those kids make your donuts from scratch. They come out fresh gooey and delicious. Glad I dont have one near me or I would be very fat.

It was very busy. I was able to pick up my order. The only issue I had is the powdered donut lost its powder by the time I took it from my bag to eat it.

I had my first experience with Duck Donuts this morning and after an unfortunate issue with the courier delivering us the order (and missing items), I reached out to Duck Donuts for help. Not only was the error NOT their fault in the first place, but they went ABOVE and beyond to help us make it right. Then, to top it off, their donuts were delectable and their iced lattes were AMAZING! Although we’re not from the area, we will be sure to highly recommend them, their donuts, coffee, service, and the Myrtle Beach location. A huge thanks to Kylana, the Store Manager, and the sweet guy before her that helped us out!

Had Duck first at the original location in the OBX then they put one about an hour from our home in Charlotte NC and now we have one right by our vacation spot. I cant tell you how exciting that was. Duck is amazing and always made to order. GET A MAPLE BACON.

Wow. What can I say? Sister was in town visiting us (Im a local). Told her how great these donuts were in OBX. Took her to this location. It was a train wreck. 45 mins to get 1 dozen donuts. Girls slopped the toppings on, so the 6 different donuts all had the same toppings. Girl wiping her hands on apron and not wearing a mask. Very unsanitary. My wife emailed them to tell them about this experience. Never heard back because they do not care. JUST BEWARE. GO TO DUNKIN OR KRISPY KREME INSTEAD

So visiting South Carolina my daughters friend told us to try this place out and it is fantastic. The donuts are made right in front of you and the toppings are like cake frostings unreal. The maple bacon is really good and i would recommend trying it because I’m not a maple fan but OMG. Cant wait to take a trip back down and grab another box. Try’em out you wont be disappointed.

The donuts are amazing and I don’t want to take anything away from the donuts themselves. However one of the staff was incredibly rude. The moment we walked in the door she told us to be patient. And the service just went downhill from there. She was angry and upset the entire time and took it out on us. Great donuts but ridiculously terrible staff member that really took away from the experience. The owners need to step in and address her behaviors because she will kill their business.

DONUTS WERE GREAT. bit of a long wait tho because the wake the donuts from scratch right in front of you. Many flavors and they have allergy charts!! Donuts were tasty! Go hand out box with Choate on the outside but nothing a napkin cant fix. Great service! Lovely environment.

Donuts are good but they are severely understaffed. Took me about 15 minutes to place my order and about 30 to receive it and that was just for 3 donuts. I did get a coupon for a free half dozen.

We ordered 3 donuts at 251pm and we we promptly served at 315. Luckily the same day! I felt bad for the very hard working Donut maker as the condisending Manager was telling herSomething while she was attempting to fill orders. Then there was a third person who seemed to have more seniority as well, she like Miss Condescending decided talking aboutProducts was more important than completing the orders that now backed up further. This was our third visit and will be our last.
