My husband and I have always wanted furniture from Ethan Allen and we finally took the plunge and WOW! We are SO happy! We should have done this years ago but it was well worth the wait! You know what they say, great things are worth the wait! This is certainly true with Ethan Allen furniture and we cant say enough about our design consultant, Vicki Chiappini! From the moment we met her, she was fantastic! She was very professional and knowledgeable, and very kind and patient as well! She was so patient working with us that even when the store was closing and we were still looking at fabrics, she didnt hurry us at all. Her follow up with us has been excellent and we are so blessed. Our whole experience with Vicki at Ethan Allen was excellent! We love our furniture and will be enthusiastically recommending Ethan Allen and Vicki to everyone we know!

I entered my email incorrectly for a web order so I called the store closest to me, which was the Myrtle Beach, SC store. Even though internet orders are totally separate from store orders, Paul was more than happy to help. He even corrected my email and sent me a confirmation to my correct email. When you place an order for $4500 worth of mattress and base and you are not sure why you got a confirmation it makes you a little nervous! Paul totally made my day and he was so happy to help! Brandon McCoy exhibited professionalism and a sense of excitement after the first consultation in my home. He keenly listened to my needs for how I wanted my space to function. He designed a room that expressed my love of color, and the need for special seating and storage. His enthusiasm for design is infectious. Working with this young man was a true delight!

She took the time to sit down and get to know us at the store and then came to our home to measure and get an overall feel of the place. We had our nightstands delivered to the design center and when I picked them up, I was lucky to get Paul Shaw to help me. When I arrived, he was very welcoming and friendly and had, not only our nightstands ready for us to pick up, but multiple nightstands so that we could pick out the ones we liked best. This was perfect because I am particular. He helped us look each one over and get them safely to our car. He did it all with a smile and wonderful attitude. My son and I were out shopping at various stores for furniture for his condo that is being remodeled. We werent having much luck locating quality wood furniture that we liked, so we decided to look at Ethan Allen. I knew that Ethan Allen had quality furniture; however, I was skeptical that we would find something at a price we were willing to pay. Fortunately for us, we met design representative Vicki Chiappini, and she was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for. It was amazing to see how well Vicki knew all of the merchandise, and she was able to suggest many pieces that complimented each other. We looked at a lot of options, and Vicki never made us feel rushed. After we had selected the furniture and area rug, Vicki took the time to enter our room dimensions into the Ethan Allen design program and placed the exact furniture and rug so we could visualize the room in 3D. We have bought from this particular EA since 2012. Recently we had the good fortune to meet their designer “Brandon”. Best design help EVER! He has a great eye for design and - so important- he has opinions he is willing to share. That has always been important to us. He has been a great help in creating cohesive spaces in our home. When you go, I advise you to request him. EA has beautiful pieces AND, in Myrtle Beach, a designer who knows how to bring it all together!

The problem is I have no eye for design which is why my house looked more like a college dorm than a home.I have never used a design service before and was initially nervous about having someone I did not know guide such key decisions.I found Brandon McCoy at the Ethan Allen MB store through these reviews - he stood out. Now it is my turn to write one.He immediately responded to my first request and scheduled a home visit. Meeting him was like meeting an old friend. He is extremely personable and genuinely interested in learning as much as he can to guide decisions. Within a few minutes he seemed to know what I wanted before I did and was writing a new story for my home. Seeing his mind work is fun to watch because you can literally see the creativity flowing in him. His attention to detail goes beyond just matching colors but rather matching looks, feels to personality. He will make your house a home too.Following our meeting we met via phone, FaceTime, texting to land on the details. During these crazy times he found ways to make the entire process simple and easy. He even had the EA store coordinate the final review and the store manager had everything coordinated and laid out perfectly. Brandon made this entire process seamless for while I’m so grateful.For me, this is just a start. Brandon designed my living room, bedroom and new window and door treatments, but I’m not done with him yet. I’ll continue to engage Brandon for all my future needs. We moved to Myrtle Beach from Boston and needed to pick out furniture for our new home. We walked into the store late on a Friday afternoon and were lucky enough to have Brandon McCoy offer to help us. Brandon is highly professional, personable, committed to excellence and so much fun to work with. He knew our style right away and made picking things out easy for us by pulling fabrics ahead of time and putting it all together before we got there. After moving from New Hampshire to Myrtle Beach SC we wanted to add a few home furnishing to our new home. We decided to visit the Ethan Allen showroom here in Myrtle beach. We were greeted by Dawn Mascorro . She asked us which rooms we were interested in furnishing and continued to show us items based on our home colors and style of furniture we had in mind. She exhibited total interest in our search and absolutely no pressure at all which made the visit much more relaxing. After a few hours viewing items Dawn had shown us based on our taste and style we settled on the pieces pictured in this post. Since Ethan Allen manufactures everything to order we waited for the items to arrive. Our furniture was all custom made to our specifications. From the time of order to delivery Dawn continued to email and speak with us regarding updates which was helpful. We were offered the option of waiting for everything to arrive at the warehouse and take one delivery or have each item delivered as they arrived at the warehouse. We opted to have each item delivered as it arrived at their warehouse. Dawn made it a point to be at our home for each delivery when the truck arrived to help us inspect the items and assure that we were pleased. We always felt that should you decide to introduce items to your home that you will enjoy on a daily basis that retailer selection as well as items you choose are very important. We could not be happier with Ethan Allens quality of workmanship, fit and finish and user friendly furniture. Sometimes furniture purchasing could be as daunting as purchasing a home or auto but Dawn made our experience a complete pleasure. We had been working on our home for over 3 years and I was at the point of almost giving up when I walked in to my local Ethan Allen showroom and met with designer, Karen Milligan. She was like a breath of fresh air! She came to our home and LISTENED to both me and my husband about what our vision was for our home. She provided me options that fit my style and personality perfectly! I can’t choose one room that is my favorite. I absolutely LOVE them all! It sounds cheesy, but I just go in every space and marvel at how beautiful every inch is and it’s EXACTLY what I wanted! I can not say enough how truly wonderful it has been to work with a professional like Karen and a company like Ethan Allen!

Paul, my consultant was amazing and helped me make great decisions for my home. However, the company was very lax updating me with where my swivel club chairs were and why they were taking 5 months for delivery. After numerous calls, I was finally told that the fabric I had chosen was not available but that the manufacturer was waiting for the fabric to ship. I could have easily chosen a different and available fabric but was not informed about the long delivery time on the fabric nor given a choice of choosing another fabric. If I would have known the chairs were going to take 5 months to come in and then have to wait 2 additional weeks for delivery, I would not have ordered them. Ethan Allens delivery process is not a good process.

We recently worked with Melissa on ordering a sofa and love seat, she came over to our house and helped pick the right colors and offered perfect suggestions on accent pieces to compliment the sofa set we decided on. Melissa was personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Brandon is amazing; love working with him. I only wish he lived in my state.

I walked into the Myrtle Beach Ethan Allen to shop for a mattress and was warmly met entering the store. I was paired with the Magnificent Brandon who hooked me up with the BEST MATTRESS EVER. I must’ve spent a half hour or more laying on the different mattresses to make sure i was getting the softest one, i was even offered a beverage! Thank you!The mattress was for a sleigh bed and Brandon picked out the perfect height box spring for the bed frame, it’s the perfect height and my king size bed looks spectacular!!!!! I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for 8 nights, the best uninterrupted sleep like I’m laying on a cloud - and I was a waterbed sleeper for 20+ years.Thank you Brandon for all your help and patience while i camped out in your mattress room!

I worked with Brandon at this store to find the perfect sectional for my new apartment. He was super patient while I was deliberating about which couch would be just right. It took a few days to settle on my favorite one and during that time he was communicative and helpful but not bothersome or pushy. He also went the extra mile to help match other items in my living room with my sectional. Overall, I had a great shopping experience at Ethan Allen (better than some of the other stores right around the corner) and I’m sure that I will be equally satisfied when I receive my couch.

My experience with Ethan Allen was amazing from the moment I opened the door! I was immediately welcomed in by the receptionist and introduced to Brandon. My first visit was to find a dinette table and chairs. Brandon and I spoke for a bit and he was able to quickly determine my style and interests. We had a terrible experience. The Buckley desk and 2 cabinets we ordered from Ethan Allen stained our brand new white carpeting brown with stain from the bottom of the furniture. Furthermore the desk and filing cabinet arrived damaged. It took over a month to get the items replaced and even the replacement desk and filing cabinet were damaged as well. We wasted countless hours waiting for repair technicians and delivery people to come and go. They eventually were able to get the stains out of the carpet after two cleanings. In my opinion the customer service was very lacking and we felt they were dismissive and unresponsive. I would not recommend buying furniture from this store.

We’ve worked with Ethan Allen over the years, but this was our first time working with Melissa at the Myrtle Beach store. She was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Delivery for a custom sofa was remarkably quick. We couldn’t be happier.

Didnt really even know what look I was going for, but Brandon came out to my house did his thing and really nailed it. Its exactly what I wanted and I love everything I bought.I didnt initially plan on doing the windows but so glad he recommended the curtains because now the room really looks finished. We received consistent updates on deliveries and once received if we were not 100% happy she made sure the issue was documented and resolved. Dawn helped us design a home that is completely us. The people at the Myrtle Beach Ethan Allen are very pleasant. My problem is with the companys return and cancellation policy. If its clearance items, naturally there are no returns. If its a custom item theres also no returns, but since all items have to be ordered, it seems as if EVERYTHING is a custom item (even items with no varying options). You have 72 hours to cancel orders...period. If you have been waiting weeks to get your items and dont even have a scheduled delivery date...too bad. Only 72 hours to cancel any item, so you better watch the clock! I have been an EA customer for YEARS, and this is the first time that I have wanted to alter my plans for a purchase; however, no accommodations were even attempted. Because of this stringent policy, I will no longer purchase from EA.

Brandon was very helpful in picking out the right bedroom set for our North Carolina home. Without any hesitation, he offered to drive 40 minutes to make sure our choice of style fit our needs. Needless to say, he anticipated that my husband and I might like another style and brought pictures and samples which we truly appreciated.

Disappointed in EA. First off Designer in Myrtle Beach store lied and said she offered to come to my home and consult about items I was ordering. NEVER happened. Wanted to return item that does not fit in our present home anywhere, end table that is too big to be end table. I can return for 15% return fee, ouch, if I get store credit can only use in Myrtle Beach store, ugh, and in first email she said I could use credit towards another end table, huh. Guess we should read the fine print, front and back of agreement.

Its seems outdated and rooms not set up to give it that bling bling EA style. Going downhill. Sorry

Love the dining table and chairs. The design service was very helpful in selecting the finishes. Was slightly disappointed in the delay of receiving items; there was a problem with fabric for the chair cushion. Not sure this could have been avoided.

Ethan Allan designer Karen Milligan was very professional, courteous and knowlegeable in helping me with refreshing my kitchen/sunroom area. She made several suggestions that started me on my way as I was stuck and didnt know what to do. She goes the extra mile to help you.

I loved my designer and the choices, but had an issue with the quality of one piece. Eventually they did the right thing, but it took too much time and energy. So disappointed they dont better back their products given the cost.
