Had a chance to visit while on honeymoon today. Owner was beyond friendly and sociable. He was happy to drop what he was doing and to answer any questions we had or to make small talk. Wife and I both wished we had a game store of this caliber back home.

Great sore. Terrific selection of games, minis, paints. Good tables and chairs for play. Lots of parking. Cold A/C. Highly recommend.

First time in the store and wow! Was greeted by Beth (I think that was her name), she was super personable and fun to talk to. The few members of the community I got to meet are great people. The store itself feels like a tavern, its the best games/comic shop Ive ever been in...which is quite a few. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out. Cant wait to go back and increase my gaming collection.

One of the friendliest places Ive ever been to. Staff was extremely accommodating, store has plenty of demo board games to try out, tables and chairs to play, bottled drinks for purchase, and a great selection of board games, miniatures, and more. Visited on vacation and found a game we really liked, tried to buy it from them and they didnt have a copy in stock, so they told us to just take their demo copy for free, wouldnt take payment or even a tip. My biggest issue is only that Im only visiting and cant give this place my business for life. Highly recommend.

My kids and I stopped by on Tuesday bought a couple of Pokémon packs. The staff made my kids feel awesome and told us to drop by the next day at 11. We arrived early and my son had a crowd around him cheering him opening packs . It truly made his day. If your kids love Pokémon take them here!!

Awesome owner here. Is super chill with a lot of things. Is very helpful when needed. Great people to have any kind of nerdy conversations with and otherwise. Couldnt recommend this place more as a good hang out spot for all your card game or DnD needs.

Good game store with lots of options. They have tons of board games and collectibles. Lots of tables to play the games and always put on events. Good prices. They don’t upsell their Pokémon card boxes like the game store does in Conway. Most of the staff is super nice and helpful even if you’re new to collections or games.

We were in Myrtle Beach when Hurricane Elsa was making its way to SC, so in preparation, we stopped by Myrtle Beach Games to buy a few new board games. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Great place!

Every time we visit we have a great experience. We go primarily to buy MTG products, which they are always well stocked with. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and awesome. Definitely recommend if youre in the area for Magic, other TCGs, and they have a extensive collection of board games as well.

I took a hiatus from MtG so its been a while since Ive been to this store. Same owner and some familiar faces. Went in for for MtG EDH Thursday and if thats not your game there were groups playing other table top stuff. Staff is friendly and helpful. A huge variety of boardgames and of course cards as well. Looking forward to trying to make this a regular gaming stop.

Such a fun little store! Kids love it because they can participate in cards and games tournaments. They have a great board game collection, and fun other items and collectables as well. Staff is very knowledgeable about their items, and helpful to order what they dont carry.

Always a fun place to check in with. They stock all the things I like: tabletop games, minis, dice, boardgames, magic cards and other card games, and all the sourcebooks you could want. Plus they are always willing to chat about any of it. Just fun!

Came by on my vacation as I’m an avid gamer so I came to check out the magic and Heroclix on 03/04/21. Heroclix selection was very small with only 1 booster set and the newest 2 starters. When I asked about magic cards I was told I would have to use the website to make an order by the person checking me out who I had to ask to help me as they were on a laptop obviously playing Magic Arena. I went and made my order and looked up to see if they had stock of some standard staples I had. I asked the person who checked me out now back on his laptop about my order and possibly trading in some things for credit. Order was ignored until someone else was behind the counter to help me and when they got my order about 15 minutes later of 5 items I ask about the trades I had and was informed they didn’t need any of the cards I had to trade in despite them being out of stock on their website. Employees seemed more interested in their own games or interests than helping customers and there was no way to tell who was an employee and who was just gaming. Store was also dirty with food in the floor nobody was trying to clean up wrappers and fries in the floor and I bought some packs while there and trying to be courteous ask where a trash can is and the employees say that the trash is full and just take my trash from me. Overall the store while large and players seemed to be enjoying themselves was disorganized and dirty and the employees are distracted and unwelcoming. The store had some digimon packs I thought about getting but after a second poor interaction with a different employee I decided to just leave and take my business elsewhere. I will not be coming back to this store.

My kids love this place so much. Before we found this place they had nothing to do or no place to go. Thank God we know about this place now!

Wonderful selection, been to a number of game stores and this ones the biggest. Location could be better though and while they have a large selection they never seem to have what I specifically want in stock.

Its a great game store, always has been and always will be. Knowledgeable owners, staff, everyone is great to be around. Even the other players are helpful. Comics galore, a wall full of games that you can play to see what you like. If they dont have the board game youre looking to buy Im positive they can track it down for you, but they have A LOT of board games in stock. Stop in and look around, youll thank yourself.

Its cool, but they dont buy/sell yugioh cards, which is why Im giving it 4 stars. If you want to do that, go to Starlight Gaming, which is a 30 minute drive north of there.

Myrtle Beach Games is a great place to get MTG cards and other games here at the beach. They have a wide selection to choose from and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just about every time I go in they have what I am looking for and at a great price.

Wanted to take a minute to leave a review of Myrtle Beach Games after attending our first tournament yesterday.We just found this place last week when looking for local MTG stores and stopped by for a visit. Spoke to a couple of gentleman who informed us about a tournament that was happening the next Saturday. I have just gotten my 14 y.o. son into Magic and we thought wed give it a try.I cant speak highly enough of our experience. I was along as a spectator to watch my son play and being his first time he was a little nervous. But everyone there was tremendously kind and were more than willing to lend a helping hand to him. From the folks that work there to all the players, I could not have asked for a better introductory experience for my boy.There was a large Pokemon tournament going on at the same time and everyone that was in that were having a blast as well. As a somewhat overly protective parent I can honestly say I would have no qualms dropping my kids off here for a tournament and would feel 100% sure theyd be safe and sound.As far as the store itself it has a pretty large match play area which is great, there were two different tournaments happening and still plenty of room. The store is stocked with every game under the sun (I was actually amazed so many even existed), comics, collectible figures, game supplies etc...They even have snacks and sodas that are available to buy here if youre going to be there for the day.We met one of the owners when we had stopped in earlier in the week and then found out that the first gentleman my son played in the tournament was another one of the owners. Both of them were great guys and the one my son first played was extremely patient and helpful to him during his first ever match.I was extremely impressed with the whole outfit and the environment that you can tell hard they work to create. I can say with 1000% certainty that we will be going back and will be customers from here on out.

The staff was fantastic. My wife and I had just got married. And they gave us some free expansions for the game of Zombicide that we had bought their. 100/10 would absolutely forget how to use fractions to give them an excellent rating. If we come back to the area we will absolutely be back!

I just left Myrtle Beach Games and am so impressed. The staff was amazing and they had an excellent board game selection. They helped me find great games for a small board game group that I host at a foster home. I definitely recommend them if you are in the area!!

I had my young daughter with me when I went in for the first time and she was comfortable there. We are planning to become as regular as we can. Cannot say enough positive things about them.

I was visiting from out of town on vacation and searched for board game stores and this was the first result on this google search. I drove out from my hotel and was immediately greeted by the cashier behind the counter. After I went browsing, the same cashier came from behind the counter and started to ask me what games I like, if I had kids that played, etc in order to better pinpoint the type of game I was looking for. I didn’t know what I was looking for, was simply looking and I understand he was trying to “sell” something like a salesman would, but I appreciated him taking the time to try and point me to the right game by making suggestions etc..I spent about an hour browsing and ended up not being able to decide amongst 7 or so games I was considering. Also they do not put the prices of the games on the boxes, you have to go and take it to the register to get the price, which wasn’t a big deal for me. I left the store that evening empty handed and went back the very next day and spent another 30 or so mins and chose a game finally as my “souvenir” to bring home. I was amazed at the selection of board games they have and the staff seems to be very knowledgeable about what’s on their shelves. As a side note this store also has your typical card game products of which the most popular was magic the gathering as there were plenty of people sitting and playing magic. The back of the store is mostly comic type products and miniatures, but my main focus was the board games of which I was not disappointed. There’s a reason this store has a 5 star rating and I agree with it.

Cool shop for geek supplies. Role playing games, comics, playing tables, etc. They also have a mimic with a mouth full of loose dice for sale. If you understand that last sentence, this is the store for you.

I was recommended to try here to get started playing D&D. This place is amazing, it has everything for tabletop gaming. Tons of board and card games. Every time I go in there has been some people playing and its just such an awesome vibe. They pointed me in the right direction and, not to brag to much, but my campaign has been awesome. Whether you are just going to buy stuff for home, or going in to find people to play with, this is the spot to try.

Really cool place, but their system for buying Magic cards is kind of weird and I over-paid for some singles. The one guy in the back was super helpful with his advice and helped me find some cards, the other guy didnt really seem like he wanted to help, but that may have just been his natural disposition. Excited to play some magic here sometime.

I stopped by as work brought me down to Myrtle from Wilmington and I had a great experience. I am starting to get into warhammer 40k and figured Id stop by to see what they have. Once there I met everyone and was surprised about the atmosphere and the environment. The owner was great as well as the others that were there at the time. They were very helpful and gave me some tips on how to start playing the game. I will definitely be going back and will be looking forward to it.
