Great ice cream, pricing is very fair and the place is clean. Nice staff. OnlyDownside it doesn’t have chocolate soft serve.

Finally ice cream the way it should be!! Homemade- amazing flavors and toppings. I had the key lime and chocolate raspberry. Both were delicious. I can see why so many were in line…a regular stop for sure.

We came back a second time within the same day because we were seriously in love! One of the most balanced ice creams we have ever tasted: not too sweet, just the right level of creamy so you dont get tired of it quickly, the consistency is gooey and just a tad bouncy so the scoop holds itself together nicely (it melts slowly) and gives a nice, fluffy but dense mouthfeel. Their soft serve is top notch quality too: creamy, dense and smooth.

The creamiest and tastiest black raspberry ice cream. It is a difficult flavor to find so we are very happy that we recently moved into this area. It has become a Sunday treat after church. Wonderful ice cream! Lovely little shop. Drove down from Cherry Grove just to try some, worth it! Very creamy and the flavors were on point.- Strawberry had real strawberries in it. Well balanced, maybe with buttermilk.- Chocolate was a good milk chocolate. Rich and smooth.- Peanut butter cup had actual peanuts in it as well as cups. Base ice cream was very good.- Coffee heath had lots of coffee flavor and plenty of heath bar.You can tell as soon as you walk through the door they use good ingredients. Fair prices and good service. Excited to try more flavors!

Um okay, some of the best ice cream Ive ever had. Wow. I had the banana pudding and my husband had the dairy free oreo peanut butter. Both are flavors we dont typically go for (my hubby isnt vegan) but we were both amazed at the flavor. So good!

Most amazing ice cream I have ever had. It is worth every penny. Super creamy. I had the cookies in cream and even the cookies in the ice cream tasted homemade. It was loaded with cookies also. Very yummy and will go back again.

Very good quality and friendly. We sat outside enjoyed our ice cream in front of the store. We tried the birthday cake, cookie monster and plain chocolate. All tasted great on the waffle and cake cones. The gentleman working there was very helpful and thanked us when we were leaving. I would definitely recommend this place. I hope to be back many times in the future.

The walk up window is such a good idea!! the man working was super patient with me as I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted at first & he was very tolerant of my barky little puppy. not to mention the ice cream was amazing!!!! my kids got birthday cake & cookie dough, while I got black raspberry which was to die for!! 5 stars!!!

We ordered a waffle cone and a pint of ice cream. The waffle cone was good and ice cream was fresh. However, the pint was pre-packed and stored in a freezer. The pint was very frozen, almost to hard to eat and wasnt fresh at all. I would prefer for a $6.99 pint, that the ice cream was freshly packed.

I rate this 1 star. The ice cream is great but the owner is rude. I have been twice now and had ordered a vanilla soft serve kiddie cup with oreos but received a small cup of vanilla soft serve with a little sprinkle of oreos and it was almost $5.00. I asked him why a small when I asked for a kiddie cup and he said no kiddie cup for soft serve.. so why not tell me that first when I ordered ?? Plus almost $5.00. I felt the owner was very short and rude so I will not go back or recommend this place to anyone. . I live minutes away but will drive over to Carolina Forest or go elsewhere.. And why can’t you do a kiddie cup of soft serve when other places can?? I order all the time..

Ocean Bay Creamery was a great experience for the whole family! There were high chairs for the kids and affordable kid sized servings. I got the Cookie Monster, and my wife, who is lactose intolerant, got the dairy free Black Raspberry ice cream. All of it was great! There aren’t many homemade ice cream places around, so this place is a must visit!

This place is so good!!! The whole family loved it! My 3yr old and hubby both devoured theirs! Cookie Monster ice cream was amazing they said!I am allergic to dairy and hardly ever get to enjoy good ice cream. We drove a little extra from the beach while on vacation just for this! The dairy free options (there is more than one choice!) are both so good! I had both! Yum!!!We ate them up before I even thought to take a picture. They were just that good!!

Just visited on labor day 2019. My fiancé and I both got double scoops. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The ice cream, on the other hand, was just eh. At $5 for a double scoop there are several ice creams i would rather buy by the pint from the grocery. Most flavors were just a normal vanilla or chocolate ice cream with something added to it like peanut butter cups. I am a peanut butter ice cream fanatic and found their version to be lacking enough that I didn’t get it. I thought it safer to go with an old southern specialty. I got a scoop of the butter pecan and a scoop of the Cookie Monster. The butter pecan had something wrong, it tasted fruity as if something had either spoiled or maybe a fruit ice cream was done in the same machine and it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The cookie monster was better but still not that to die for homemade creamery flavor you would expect to crave. The fiancé had dairy free black raspberry and cookie monster. She was not impressed though did like that they at least had 2 dairy free options(black raspberry and oreo). They were made with a coconut base which excited us because we have loved many ice creams with that base. Neither of them were very tasty.Like i said it just wasn’t a place we would be sitting around and crave a visit back to. I have been to many creameries that i craved for on weekends after dinner. With many ice cream shops around that stock commercial ice creams that are also just okay we were excited to get a homemade creamery so near our home. It was over all a let down. First impressions are everything. We weren’t impressed.
