Owner ordered all the books I needed and as a student at Stephen f. Austin I was able to get a discount. Owner is nice and friendly and alot of local artists and writers sell their work here.

Great place to stock up on some classics you shouldve read, and to find some new must-reads, as well. This store also has the largest selection of Joe Lansdale works anywhere. Of this I am certain.

Might be a cool place if they were ever open. I have tried for months to catch this place open. Today, I thought I had finally done it. In the time it took me to park and walk to the door they flipped the sign. Online hours do not match when the store is open, and the store does not have hours posted that I could find. I am not sure I have ever tried so hard to give my money to a store. Im done trying.

The poetry reading here was so much fun! This place is a great spot for bookworms to hang out.

This is probably the most unique bookstore Ive ever been to. I left the store with two Lansdale novels (definitely a fan, and I love to support good Texas authors) and a Big Lebowski door hanger. The proprietor of this store was very friendly! An all-around great experience for any book lovers and those who are geeky.

My husband and I stopped by while waiting to meet our daughter for lunch, and our experience made us glad she was delayed. The distinguished gentleman who greeted me was friendly, helpful, and informative. Come to find out he and his wife Jean, who was also there, run the bookstore on Wednesdays so the owner, Tim Bryant, their son and a published author/musician, can dedicate that day to writing, music, etc... We perused books written by Tim himself in addition to other local writers. What a unique ambiance- an actual author who owns an eclectic, interesting bookstore and is also involved in the local music scene! Best part, Tim is tapping into the wealth of knowledge his parents can impart while they assist his visitors, customers, & patrons. My daughter and son-in-law plan on visiting Bosslight soon, and we will definitely go back every time we visit Nacogdoches!!! Don’t miss it!!!

We worth a visit. In downtown Nacogdoches. I love books. Also features artwork done by locals. Woodwork and paintings. There are benches all over if you want to be outside. Great location. Staff are kind and helpful.

I really love this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although they didnt have what I was looking for, there were plenty of other cool things in this store to quench your inner nerd thirst.

This place is a great place to go to for items about Nacogdoches and books by East Texas authors. There are also items made by local artist offered here. The owner is a treasure chest of information about our town and all the items offered at his store. This is a must stop for anyone interested in Nac and the surrounding area.
