Always good place to shop. The meat is fresh and delicious choice! Fruit and veggies always fresh and good!

The young produce man stand in front of the check outline talkin to the checker. Wouldnt move out the way so we could check out! I had to tell him twice excuse me! He act like they was on a date at the checkout stand! But besides those two people I love coming there.

Super bad service in the meat service area. Got there 1 hr and 1/2 before closing time, to get some cold cuts grind and they un plug the grinder in front of me and told me the machine was already unplug for more service.

The food line is excellent. They are serving up fresh, traditional Mexican food that you dont get anywhere else. Tamales that are fresh and not dry with a choice of fillings. Pork chops in a spicy red sauce and real Mexico style soups and stews. Fresh made corn tortillas were excellent.

The best meat market and produce. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. We are also a regular customer for pork hot tamales. Also, I cant leave my fur babies out, the only place I can find Chicken Feet. They can eat 20 pounds in a week.

I just left the Nacogdoches location And it’s by far the worst experience at La Michoacana stores I’ve ever had! It is very clean,the meat section is awesome no waiting time the cashiers are polite but the cooks were you order your food have the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered, as if you were at asking them to do something that was not part of the job description horrible horrible service at that food section would never eat there again! Left a comment card with name and contact info in hope that management would contact me

I am so humiliated and hurt. At this taqueria you order food first and pay after. Everyone of Hispanic decent did so. However, me being black, they REFUSED to serve me unless i paid first. They made it a huge ordeal and watched me like a hawk as I looked around. I come here often that is the first time i have been treated that way.

Best mexican food and good chips

Very disappointing. I came here for the first time and everyone else was ordering their food first and then paying next as the system goes apparently. However I was pulled out of line and told that I had to pay for my food first. Very racist. Very upsetting. I wanted to leave my tacos there on the counter and just say forget it. I was the only person targeted and the only person that person who wasnt Hispanic .

The man who works the taqueria side treats people like dirt. I had ordered a gordita, and when he gave it to me he gave me a dead stare and threw the small plastic foam container with the gordita in it at me. I never went back to this place and never will. Being treated like this at a Michoacana is a disappointment, especially when living in a small town and this is the only hispanic carnicería in the area.

The butcher was very rude. Wouldn’t give me the fresh meat I was asking for because apparently the one that he was trying to give me was fine but flies had been on it already.

I dont speak good Spanish but the workers are always so nice, very friendly, always helpful, always smiling, and they ALWAYS have THE MOST FRESH MEAT at the MOST BEST PRICES EVER!!! A+

First & last time to buy meat from this place. Beef fajitas were the worst Ive ever had in my life. Ive lived the majority of my life, 56 years,in South Texas (Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Realitos, Riviera) and I can assure you that I have eaten my fair share of good Mexican food. Fajitas were paper thin & when grilled over hot oak fire, dried up & tough to eat. Charizo had a huge amount of pepper skin(s) that were the same texture as roach wings, had to remove from my mouth as I chewed to make sure they were not roach wings. What a waste of farm fresh eggs when cooked with the charizo. I wish I would have asked to look at the fajitas prior to the butcher grabbing them out of a trash can with a plastic bag. I give it 3 stars only because of the meat market. Boneless means no bones not even tiny pieces. The pork meat is 80% chunks of fat. Dont mix fresh cuts with 2week old cuts either. Train your carvers and stop trying to pull one over on the consumer.

They are racist. Long story short I was asked to pay for my plate before she would fix it and the 3 people( Mexicans ) behind me were not. I stood there as they ordered their food, she fixed them and thy went on about their marry ways.

The truth is that I have had very bad experiences there, the ladies in the kitchen are angry all the time, the manager also looks at you with a bad face. Stop the gentlemen of the butcher shop if they are very friendly but the others do not have one if they do not like the job they look for another. Or to be nicer to people, I went to ask for some tacos and they told me if I had ever paid for them and stolen or asked for anything for free
