I recently had some head shots made at The House of Photography. Let me tell you, from the moment I walked through the doors...I knew I had chosen the right photographer to take my pictures. Greg and Cindy were wonderful, welcoming, down to earth and very professional. My pictures are fabulous. I asked Greg if he could capture my personality as well as take the images with the professional look. He “nailed it.” Trust me, I will return.

We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE both of my daughters pictures! We had a great experience with all of the staff, very accommodating and professional. Greg and Cindy are both quick on their feet with fantastic unique ideas for any and all of your portrait wants/needs. I highly recommend them for your special memories and keepsakes. Great portraits while we were in the area. My hubby & I decided to have some portraits created while we were traveling in the area. Best idea ever. In addition to our vacation photos we have beautiful, professional portraits from our travels which are the best memories to have. Its hard to get nice photos of the two of us when were traveling so hiring a pro was a great idea! Cant wait to update our memory wall!

Such a wonderful experience and such a high quality product to show for it. My son and I had his graduation pictures done with G Patterson and they were so sweet and accommodating. They even let us throw in a few shots of our family. The end product is just stunning! They have an option to get these unique photo announcements, instead of spending hundreds on the classic wedding style announcement. They are spectacular and now instead of including a tiny little wallet photo, each family and friend gets to see a spectacular set of images.Couldnt be happier with this whole interaction. From the photo shoot, to the viewing and deciding, to the gorgeous photos. Beginning to end this was wonderful and I am so thankful to have found G. Patterson studio. Highly recommend and we will return in the future!

I recently attended a series of classes, the Learn Photography Bundle, at House of Photography. I have never used any camera that was not a simple point-and-shoot, so I needed to learn the basics of using a DSLR camera in order to upgrade my (non-existent) photography skills after I upgraded to DSLR. These classes gave me what I needed and much more. My head is still spinning but practice will help make things easier. Greg was friendly and patient, answering every question, and making things as simple as possible. I really enjoyed the classes and they helped me, but I still need more on photography basics so I’ll be looking for classes that may be held in the future. I highly recommend the House of Photography classes for anyone seeking to improve their photography skills.

The photographers themselves were very kind and helpful, and the pictures in our session turned out great. However, my fiance and I feel that they shouldve been more upfront about the pricing for their photographs; its almost $500 just to keep a digital copy of your own photos. We may come back here for a special event or a holiday shoot, but sadly this isnt the best place for people on a budget or for casual photography.

I’ve taken several of Gregg’s courses and have not been disappointed yet. This course (Lines: Seeing Like A Photographer) was no exception. You get good instruction and one-on-one practical experience to go along with it. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. I enjoy learning in such an environment.

As an absolute beginner I signed up for the Night Photography class. It was informative, fun and enlightening. Greg Patterson can take a complex technique and break it down so it is easily understood. Greg is like a candle willing to light the way, sharing his knowledge and expertise with others wanting to learn. I look forward to my next class.

I did my research and picked Greg and House of Photography for some business photos that I needed. Greg and Cindy did an excellent job working with me through the process (had never done this before) and had the right amount of personality to help me relax in what to me was a stressful situation.The pictures turned out great and Greg worked with me through the whole process of picking the right final pictures to capture the tone I was looking for.I would highly recommend Greg in particular to people who need a highly qualified partner to help them with their business.

My 10yr old attended the beginner photography class in June. She has very little knowledge about photography but has a huge interest. Leah (TANKS) has learned so much and had so much fun that we signed her up for the intermediate class a few weeks later. The crew at the House of Photography are AMAZING! They teach the kids so much and have fun doing it, they take walks around town looking for different things. Shadows, lines, framing...you name it.Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place.Leah will be attending next year as well :)

They did it again. I have an entire wall in my house dedicated to Patterson Photos. Really, it is a wall of my lovely children, but Greg Patterson has taken them all. I just received my latest portraits in the mail, and Patterson Photographic Studio did it again, beautiful shots of my two exceptional children.You might wonder why the portraits were mailed. I love these folks so much, we drove back to Nacogdoches from where we now live in Austin, just to get these portraits done. Thanks for the memories Greg and Cindy!

Great experience. I got my senior pictures taken and they looked great. They had great service and were very friendly 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

My daughter recently attended the Photography Camp and LOVED IT!!! Greg and Cindy are both super sweet, and worked with the kids to teach them new things. They also take pictures at my younger daughters daycare and do a fantastic job. We will def be back next year for camp!

Love G Patterson Studio. Very helpful and friendly. They answer any and all questions, and our hour ran over but they never rushed the session.Definitely glad we choose them for our daughters senior pictures!!

I highly recommend taking photography classes at House of Photography with Greg and Cindy Patterson. Since Christmas, I completed Learning Photography (parts 1 & 2); Photo Walk; and Lightroom (parts 1 & 2) classes.Greg and Cindy made every class a truly memorable learning experience. Everyone had questions answered about their cameras, and we all got personalized attention as needed when using our cameras in hands-on sessions.Overall, these classes were what I’ve tried to find for years! Thanks to Greg and Cindy they are now available in Nacogdoches!

This was our daughters first year to attend the kids photography camp, she loved it, Greg and Cindy are both fantastic people and put together a wonderful camp. The kids all seemed to have a great time and learned a lot about photography. Thank you both for spending time with the youth and helping them with a trade that will take them far.

I could not have been more pleased with the photos and the time Greg spent on each pose with my son. He nailed it every time. I will definitely be going back.

I recently took part in one of Gregs photo classes for adults - Night Photography - I not only had a great time but learned a lot. He packed a lot of information into 3 hours!

Our kids have attended 3 of the Patterson’s photo camps. Greg & Cindy do an excellent job of teaching the kids & engaging them in fun activities. I would highly recommend them!

Details matter, professionalism matters, promptness matters.. to me, anyway. Will find a better suited professional photographer next time.

The PhotoBooth at our daughters wedding reception was an amazing experience. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dressing up and taking pictures with everyone all evening. This is the perfect guest book. It truly captures the fun everyone was having. Daryl was very professional and really took the time to make sure everyone had a wonderful time. The size of the booth was awesome. It was so easy for larger groups to get together. The bride and groom love the scrapbook. Having copies of all of the fun will be something they treasure forever. Daryl went above and beyond to make this exactly what they wanted. Right down to personalizing the photos with their wedding colors, date and even little pinecones from their theme.
