I only come in if I absolutely have to. I was on the hunt for Halloween decor and fabric. Small selection of both. I found some fabric and after having it cut went the the checkout. Double check the price as they were trying to charge me for 4 yards when I had a little over 1 yard with the remnants of the bolt. Wish this was the first time it had happened. Staff was almost pleasant this time while shopping.Update: make sure you watch them cutting your fabric. Both fabrics I bought are the wrong measurements!

I love coming in to find specials on what I usually buy. I still make face masks and try to find seasonal material for different choices for my customers. I also make things for my grandchildren and even have them come with me to pick out the fabrics they like and then surprise them with what I have made for them.

The store was organized and the staff were friendly. The wait for cutting fabric wasnt too long during my visit. The employees quickly returned fabric to the shelves. Good selection and deals were well-indicated in the clearance section. Wish the location was better. We will see what happens after the Karcher Mall remodel!

We had to call to find them. They were located behind the mall. All the other stores look abandoned and this store has a lot to be desired from the outside. But the deals are good with coupons.

I miss when Shakira used to work there. She was awesome. They do there best to accommodate and when Im at the register and dont know about a coupon they let me in on it right away. Which is good because who doesnt like saving money?! Theyre 50% coupons work on almost anything except machines and circuit stuff and a few other exclusions. I used my %50 off coupon to purchase a couple of fabric Jelly rolls. I earned enough points to receive a free $5 reward, then used my ibotta app to get 10% cash back. With the discounts, reward and ibotta app.... the jelly rolls practically paid for themselves! Their clothes patterns go on sale as low as $1.99! I was able to buy a pattern for $2, 2 yards of fabric for less than $6 and a spool of thread at just under $2...the result? A cute summer dress for my daughter that cost less than $10. Sometimes their fabric can be in the wrong spots but like I said earlier, they do their best to accommodate. They have cheap yarn too and GREAT clearance! Please do visit! You wont be dissapointed

Ardie at store 0796 (Boise, Idaho) was a customer service superstar today. I needed 2 yards of fabric to complete a project, but I live out of town, couldn’t get to the store, and couldn’t find the fabric on line. Ardie found the fabric for me in the store and arranged to have it shipped to me. She really went above and beyond to make it happen. Empty shelves and crowded aisles made for an unpleasant experience. Empty areas of products where I should have found my item was fruitless in my search. Is covid to blame?

I think different JOANNS Fabrics must carry different products. Im from out of State and at home I could of never found half the stuff I found here. I really loved this stores selection, and was able to get a decent price for everything I bought. Very nice store!

I can always find any craft product I am looking for and the employees are helpful and friendly.

JoAnns has craft paint called Top Notch that they are getting in. I got the bottles at .79 cents each. Entrance is at backside of the one karcher mall!!!!!

I waited in line for over an hour, there was one woman in front of me, #10, getting help, I just needed to get a couple yards of material cut, I was #11, in the hour we waited I was trying to keep my two little children entertained while the line stacked up behind me and eventually when I went to cashier up front to ask if there was anybody else that could come help cut the material the lady up front snapped at me and was extremely rude, when I just asked a simple question, a nice respectful unfortunately no, Im sorry would have been fine. But she was rude and responded with a snarky attitude. After waiting another 15 minutes with no sign of help we left, we will be taking our business to Hobby Lobby from now on. Hobby Lobby was so helpful, kind and most importantly respectful, when we got there it was totally opposite experience than what JoAnns had to offer.

Great had lors of options and assorted prices for your budget. Only could be better by having the mail entrance available but i see the whole mall is under construction

They are usually very nice and helpful and today all of them were except the gal who was checking customers out. She was not friendly in the least and was condescending. I overheard her tell a customer, I dont care what it says and during my check out she told me, in a snooty tone that I needed to look at the dates on the coupons. She needed to look at the dates because the coupon was valid. No apologies for her mistake either. Maybe she shouldnt be working with the public...

First of all, Im not a fabrics hobbyist. I dont sew except in emergencies, would not know what to do with a pattern if it bit me. As such a customer, though, I found the staff at Joanns to be both patient and pleasant. There was lots to choose from (again speaking as a complete novice there) and I observed many happy regulars chatting with a favorite sales associate.

The two ladies at the fabric cutting station are always extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help me with my projects! Love the selection of fabrics there too! I could spend hours here!

Customers were more helpful than staff. After much searching I was able to match fabrics for the project I wanted to make. However being the day before Thanksgiving and the first day of Black Friday sales, the line for getting your fabric cut was extensive. I waited for more than an hour and by the time I was done, my back and legs were in a lot of pain that lasted several days. If you want popular stamps, dies, and inks, this is not the place to obtain them. Go to Craft Warehouse in Meridian.

Everyone was very helpful and kind. We were purchasing fabric to make costumes for an upcoming musical production. The cashier helped us get the best discount we could. They even enjoyed us talking and confusing them as we all worked together.

While they have everything you could need to craft, they are much more expensive than Hobby Lobby or Walmart. The staff is always great and you can always find what you need... I just wish they had better sales and much lower prices. The one thing I HATE about this store is when you sign up for their text services they send you text messages every day, every single day they send you a flipping text. It gets old. I need to get removed from the list, it drives me crazy. Maybe if the sales were better theyd be worth the constant ANNOYING texts.

Great selection but the store itself is cramped, and feels dingy. The mall setting is bizarre--there is no outside access so you have to traipse through a dreadful abandoned mall. Although Ive read that changes are coming--the changes cant come soon enough! It was also gross that the employee stopped to blow her nose 3 times while cutting my 6 different fabrics. No hand sanitizer, but she did explain it was allergies--it was still gross. The cashier was nice enough. Although there were more employees than customers while we were there over 40 minutes no one asked if we needed any help.

Plenty of people in the store, not a lot of employees wandering around if you needed help. They had some good sales, and usually do. The store was easy to navigate.

I needed a scrapbook type binder they had a few on clearance. The clerk took me to the clearance area to show me.

Great customer service the staff and a wide variety of products to choose from. The only negative is the location. The mall is depressing.

Joannes always has what I need. If you are in a rush and need something specific, you might have to pay full price, which is usually a little high, but they pretty much have sales going on all the time. If youre a regular crafter, definitely sign up for their mailing list or download their app.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell. The interactions are always creative and informative. I get most of my bedding and carts supplies here.

I have always gone to Jo-Anns to get my t-shirts because I do a lot of tie-dyed and they always have them on sale or theyre really reasonable priced

The ladies at the fabric counter are very rude and literally scolded me for asking a question about the fabric. Also after wandering the store for 45 minutes looking for command hooks, I finally found someone and asked where I could find them. He pointed and said in the back of the store. I still didnt find the hooks after another 15 minutes so I paid for my fabric and left. I know companies couldnt possibly care less when someone says they wont return but yeah. Im not coming back ever again. Your staff is unprofessional and very rude.

I had to make some skirts for my students. They were dancing grease and I had no idea what material I needed to use or anything. They chose the fabric, they were super patient, they gave me tips on how to make the poodle 🐩 on the bottom, and they turned out perfect! Thank you so much!

Jo-Anns always has what Im looking for, sometimes it can be a little on the pricey side but if you keep an eye open and use their coupons and sale days you get away with a good bargain.

They *really* should change the name to Joanns Crafts...and Some Fabric. Trying to find some nice light weight challis, or wide-wale corduroy, or any other fine dress-making fabric, a wide variety of trims (lace and ribbons by-the-yard) and youll see what I mean. Disappointing for sewers.

Everyone is very pleasant, but waiting days for curbside is ridiculous. I wont order online for machines or replacement parts I will just be shopping mom and pops shops.

A normal JoAnns with narrower aisles to fit more into a smaller store. Prices are still above and beyond what I would pay elsewhere, except for fabric sales, since they mostly have a monopoly now.

The store is a mess. ...minimal staff...low stock.

This store tends to be hit or miss for me. Some days the staff is great, other days theyre pretty crabby. I typically find what I need to regarding product but the store itself is very messy.

Sketchy location, the store was poorly organized, and the blacked out windows in the back were unsettling.

Very empty and only one check stand open.

Had a misunderstanding about a coupon and was nicely explained what it actually was for. Love their yarn selection!

Smaller store in a dim dirty mall. Selection is decent though and with a coupon the prices are good. Be sure to check out their website before you go.

Has a large selection of fabrics. Some fabric is not of the best quality. Have to watch out for holes. They also take chunks of fabric and wrap it on the bolt. So you may have to settle for getting the yardage you want in smaller pieces. Also can be long waits at the cutting table.

The employees here are very helpful, there does tend to be a line to get fabric cut but line tends to move quickly!

The customer service at this location is outstanding. They answered all my questions and helped me find what I needed.
