Ive had two ear piercings done here, and they both went very smoothly. Everything was clean, sterile, and pretty quick in my opinion.All the processes were explained to me, and any of the equipment that was used was opened in front of me. They are very clean and organized.I highly recommend using the online appointment system, it really cuts down on the wait time. Prices are very fair, and include jewelry. They also sell some really nice jewelry by itself.

What initially brought me here was the amazing reviews from everyone that has been here, so I thought Id give it a shot to get my tatas redone. Felicity, Ally, and the rest of the staff on hand were absolutely amazing from the time I walked in to the time I walked out, I highly recommend to get any piercing done here as they treated me with the utmost respect, made me feel very comfortable and gave me all of the information that I needed to care for my new piercings. I had an amazing experience! I got a triple lobe piercing from Collin in the Nampa location and was blown away by the customer service I received. The location itself was very comfortable, clean and professional with a large variety of jewelry to choose from. I began to feel a bit sick midway through my appointment (I become squeamish easily) and was completely taken care of. The staff helped me lie down, gave me some juice to drink and didnt rush me through the rest of my piercings. Even-though I knew I had already taken up valuable time they continued to support me and even advised me on some existing piercings I had care questions on. Collin was meticulous in mapping out my piercings to ensure we were on the same page and that all the angles were correct as well as away from cartilage. I am overjoyed with the outcome and very grateful for the treatment I received!

I was really nervous to get second piercings on my lobes, but both techs were very comforting and knowledgeable! Collin was very patient and assuring when figuring out what exactly I wanted for my placement. They have a pretty good stock of rings, studs, and everything in-between. Would 100% go back for more.

After having multiple bad experiences with piercing guns, my daughter and I went in and had our lobes pierced at the Nampa location. I was terribly nervous but it was a great experience and the guys there were fantastic all around. They reassured me that this type of situation was completely different than what youll get with the guns and they were right! They explained what they were doing beforehand and were very fast. They were all great with kids and really did a great job.

They were booked out all day but told me to come in anyways and they would squeeze me in. Right after I finished with the paperwork they had a chair and tools ready for me. The staff took their time explaining the process and the difference between types of materials and piercings. I was super nervous for my first piercing but the staff made me really comfortable. I really love the options they had as well. If I ever decide to get a second one, I will get it here!!

I have now walked out with my 3rd experience with Hippie Hoops and Holes. When I tell you that every experience is as magical as the next I mean it.My first experience was for Tata Tuesday July of last year. They calmed my pre poke nerves and talked me through the ENTIRE process which is amazing. My blood sugar dropped and they were quick to notice the change before I could even tell my body was out of wack. They jumped into action and I walked out feeling better then ever after the quick action of both piercers to help my blood sugar get back to normal. I’m over a year in and love the piercings every day more and more!My second experience was for my 9 year old daughter to get her ear piercings. She was nervous to say the least. She panicked and was having a hard time with the thought of getting the piercings despite being so excited for months to get them done. Both Colin and Tyler were so patient with talking her through the process every time she asked, recleaned her ears after she panicked and touched them both and did it with a smile on their face. They had some trouble with 1 of her ears and kept their cool the ENTIRE time despite my kiddo growing impatient because she just wanted to see the final result. After a good 30 minutes my little girl walked out grinning ear to ear and I couldn’t be happier with how well the team handled her and the emotions she was experiencing.Today was my 3rd experience for Migraine Monday. When I tell you I walked in nauseous and feeling tense as always from a terrible Migraine day it’s not joke. I warned them I was feeling nauseous and it was just from the migraine and wanted them to know. They once again talked me through the entire process from cleaning, to marking, to the poke itself. They asked me how I was feeling through the entire process to make sure I was comfortable and that my nausea wasn’t getting worse. (It hadn’t if anything it calmed down greatly) by the end of the poke my neck and shoulder tension was DRASTICALLY BETTER. So much so that Collin could see the difference in my overall posture when I was sitting and could see my eyes relaxed and were wider then before. My migraine isn’t fully gone but the overall secondary issue of muscle tension and nausea is nearly gone which is phenomenal! Matt was great to keep me talking and was a blast to be poked by.Overall what I am saying is if you were to choose anywhere in the valley to get poked I would HIGHLY recommend the boise or nampa location. The environment is amazing, the sterilization is phenomenal, the team makes you feel at home and you leave feeling confident in your after care knowing they are with you the entire step of the way. When they tell you if something is off or if you have questions to let them know they truly mean it.Here’s to many more pokes from my favorite place in town!

I did not come here to get a piercing, but I did stop by to get piercing advice after receiving a misplaced septum piercing from another shop. I got quick help & was so relieved and happy after because I avoided an infection. Thank you! I’ll be coming here to get my piercings in the future.

My 8 yr old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. I had originally called another place and was informed I could walk in anytime and they would help my daughter. I showed up just a few minutes before 5:30 pm and was informed they couldnt help me because they stop doing piercings at 5:30 pm even though they didnt close until 6 pm. My daughter was very disappointed as she was looking forward to it. I called Hippie Hoops and Holes and they informed me they would be happy to take care of us. They were very kind and squeezed us in. They did a wonderful job and made my daughters day a special one!

Was so kind when I went in to get one of my second lobes re done and my helix! The woman who pierced me was kind and really helped me stay calm, I am so glad I went here and got it done with a needle instead of a piercing gun. 10/10 would recommend, I would go back for the rest but I moved. Will be taking my niece to get hers done here when I visit again!

Attendant was very short and not very helpful when inquiring just about getting jewelry. Had purchased a septum ring to glitz up a bit for my best friends wedding. I kept touching my nose and couldnt figure out why. I took out the septum ring after a week to find our that it had turned GREEN!Theyve lost my business. I understand people have bad days but they should not be selling products that turn green. In my book its inexcusable.

I recently had to have a dermal out for a medical test. The gal helping me was impressive. I didnt even feel her take it out with no numbing cream. I went back a month later and got another dermal and my 2nd holes in my ears. She still was awesome! No numbing cream, and there was little to no pain! This place is clean and very professional!

Amazing experience got my helix piercing and when it started to swell and suck my backing in the employees at hippy hoops and holes swapped out the jewelry for a bigger one. They were very kind and gentle 10/10 would recommend.

These ladies were not only amazing with their piercings but friendly as well. They were able to get my daughters ears pierced in tandem, mind you she is two so no easy feat. They were also able to get my wife and myself in as well. We will definitely be going back for more in the near future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I took my 6 year old to get her ears pierced and they were incredible. They walked her through every step of the way and made it an unforgettable experience. 1000% would go back! We went to the vista location.

Took my mother on law to get her industrial pierced. They did a great job with it. She asked for numbing cream, but was not given instruction that it was on the needle and would go in as the needle was piercing the skin. This should be told to a client who asks for numbing cream. Another thing is they dont tell you numbing cream costs extra. Which is bother some. You walk in knowing one price but it ends up being a different price because of the charge for numbing cream. For that reason I will not be returning. It should be told or advertised that there is a charge. We went to the boise location.. Im disappointed because I wanted to go back and get a piercing for myself but now I will be going somewhere else. Who knows what other hidden charges they may tak on.

The most unprofessional experience! For my daughters birthday I wanted to take my daughter and her two best friends to get their ears pierced. I scheduled a week ago and when we showed up today we were told it was policy to have social security cards or birth certificates. My daughters friends mom met me there but neither of us had that with us. We figured it out and got the documentation that we needed to get them done today. As were filling out the paperwork the two women go around the corner and start talking about us. The older lady comes around the corner and says did one of you just roll your eyes? Which I replied I didnt see anyone roll their eyes.... I asked her if she meant one of the children and she stormed off around the corner then came back and said it appears you have a problem with our rules and you arent going to be disrespectful. (Remember these are children shes talking to.) I answered her that we had gotten her the documentation that she asked for and were filling out the paperwork but I didnt want them to touch our children if they had any animosity towards them she replied she felt the same way. So I told them to have a great day and we left. The younger girl followed us to the parking lot to get the paperwork we had filled out because that is how they get paid? We went to talon tattoo in Boise they were extremely careful and kind with the children and did a great job! Unfortunately this is the second bad experience Ive had at this location.Replying to their reply: I totally understand the rules and provided a birth certificate. I personally did not take any paperwork the other childrens mom took the paperwork that had her childrens names dob ect...or rip anything to shreds. I did not cuss or say anything against anyone. I quickly got the paperwork needed to not ruin my daughters birthday. My daughter is very shy and quiet and respectful of her elders she didnt roll her eyes. You arent speaking of me In your response. Because once I found out about the rule I provided documentation and told your workers I had no problem with the rules. The animosity towards me was out of nowhere. I even told them to have a great day when I left. Im extremely disappointed in your response as a business owner. What you are saying about me is completely untrue Im glad you have video because I didnt say or do any of that.

Went in for a nose piercing.. I had recently went to a local tattoo shop to get my right ear daith. The tattoo shop didn’t correctly place my daith and put me in a hoop meant for lobes. Hippy Hoops was KIND and CARING enough to remove it at NO CHARGE and explained how to properly care for my other daith (done at a different shop). I also came out with a super cute nose ring. I’ll be back to redo my daith once I’m completely healed and any future piercings! Ya’ll were amazing!! Thank you

I got my 11 month old her ears pierced. The person that did her ears left the plastic tube in her ear lobe (right side) for a while until she put in the earring in which caused her to bleed a lot. My daughter was already balling her eyeballs which made me feel horrible. She didn’t say anything or tried to be more positive how it turned out. She also tried to clean them but didn’t clean the whole thing so as soon as we got home to clean her ear everything was perfectly fine until my husband pointed out how uneven they were. Left ear is fine, right side is starting to look infected. Never am I coming here again.

We decided to get our 9 month olds ears pierced here, because we had heard good reports about their ability to work with children. We were not disappointed, staff was friendly and professional, and answered all our questions. The whole process was done in about 10 minutes. I could not be happier with the results, and our daughter loves her new prettiesEdit: About 10 weeks after we got her ears pierced she lost a back to her earring, we called and the staff had us drop by and gave us a bag with several backs! We also ended up picking up some cute titanium hoops, which they came out to the car and eye-balled the correct size because my daughter was sleeping.Truly awesome people with great customer service highly recommend!

I’m so pleased with the customer service I got when bringing in my two yo for her first ear piercings. Everyone there was so kind and knowledgeable! They were beyond great with my daughter and she literally didn’t even shed a tear! She was so comfortable and the ladies explained everything to her before they did it, and they were sooooo patient! It’s only the first day and my daughters ears ARE NOT even kind of red or swollen! They look totally normal!! She hasn’t complained even once about pain! Walking in this place was just adorable! my piercing experience was great, close to painless. being so nervous, i was unable to realize until I went to pay that not one worker was wearing a mask. Being a business that is with in 6 feet of other daily, it is ridiculous to not be wearing one in front of your clients. This is one of the first times my at risk family has left the house in a while and it was very disappointing. Although they were overly nice it was very disappointing and it’s not every hard to wear one
