Seven years ago i walked into this store having a real bummer of a day; little did i know i had wandered into the magical world of john harding. he intently focused on finding me the right scent and wove in the story of his perfume-making process. after an hour i walked out bewitched, smelling fabulous, and curious at the world again.i’ve thought often and fondly of that day, and recently ordered the same scent from here in australia.in the middle of a pandemic it came timely across the sea, packaged beautifully and with a card that brought me to tears. the perfume is as delicious as ever, pure mastery. now i can keep a little piece of nantucket with me wherever i go.

I go to Nantucket every other year just to visit my fav store there... John is the best! I first saw him about 15 years ago and he asked me so nicely to test an oil that he knew I was going to love....I did, walked out of store with nothing but 5 hours later I went back and got what today is my signature oil White Magnolia I love, love, love this oil!!

I have purchased from them for many years. John was the owner but recently passed away after being on Nantucket at least 20 years. He did special mixes. He sold the oils used to make perfumes and colognes. Because there was no alcohol in what he sold, 2 - 3 drops had a lighter, less overpowering scent that truly lasts all day. It does not seem to go bad if you have it around for two or three or four years. I hope that the store survives but just in case, I am going to get a lot of everything that I wear and put it away, vacuum-packed.

Love this perfume! Lasts a long time.
