BEST ice cream EVER...now I know why there was a line of people outside. So creamy - so many flavors and options; not your usual choice of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. The guy made waffle cones from their own recipe right in front of me. It smelled divine. Do you like toppings? Well they have toppings on top of toppings. I finally settled for COFFEE CAKE (yum). It was delicious!

I ordered the Jamaican shake which was more juice than shake…not ideal and it took about 15 minutes for them to make. My boys said the ice cream and the cones were good. The signs were funny…I don’t think anyone is reading them. But they were great for the long wait I had for the shake juice.

The long line is always a turn off for me but if you do decide to wait your turn then youll be glad you did! The ice cream is really good and the cones are all hot! If youre looking to just walk around town or people watch then Id recommend just getting the $1 ice cream from Stop and Shop first!

Hands down the best ice cream on island - highly recommend a combo of a scoop of banana and a scoop of coconut! So so good. Scoopers are super friendly and service is a+. Upgrade to the waffle cones - freshly made and so delicious!

If you go here any time around dinner time, there is likely going to be an intimidatingly long line. It moves relatively quickly. We were on the other side of the street when we got in line and had our ice cream within 20 minutes. The prices are pretty high, but it really is some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Gotta come here at least once if you are in town.

Tasty ice creams, plenty of options. I recommend to try coffee ice cream with Oreo cookies and peanut butter.There was a line, but we were moving fast.(For the owner, I would try to experiment for with the peanut butter, what about Honey Roasted Crunchy Peanut-butter - like they have in WholeFoods - yum yum)

Something crowded but has amazing service and great price

They gave me my ice cream and when I was at the window I took ONE bite. When I took that bite I noticed it was the wrong flavor and while still standing at the window told the girl. She said the policy is that once you eat it it’s yours and acted as if I ate half of it. She told me to go buy a new $10 ice cream because they can’t fix their mistakes. They weren’t even busy and they had just messed up someone else’s order as well and fixed it right away. Needless to say I am disappointed in The Juice Bars current staff and their disability to get things right.

5 star. This is like best ice cream place ever. They got pretty good list of ice cream. This place is one of the reason to come back to nantucket again and again. Mine favorite is cocunut and banana mix. They do have some interesting specials like green monster and cookie mixes.

They make the ice cream on site, but the portion size is a little small given the price. Not a bad thing if you are watching what you eat, but if you are looking for a monster cone, this may not be the spot. They also offer juices and smoothies along with home made waffle cones.

Enjoyed their ice cream for the 1st time. Reasonably priced. I read the reviews and decided to go with my family. Husband had chocolate icecream and loved it (very picky taste palate), daughter had brownie a la mode on a waffle cup loved it and the waffle cup. I had coconut and toffee crunch on waffle cup just delicious. Very good ice cream and waffle cups.

Have been coming here for years. Disappointed by the scoop size, I got three scoops for $12 and they barely went over the top of the cup. They used to be enormous scoops. Sad to see this happen. Should have said something when she handed it to me but I was speechless at the tiny scoops.

Not going to lie, when I first went here to get ice cream I wasn’t impressed. But I decided to give it a second try, this time by ordering pints of recommended flavors to take home. While the waffle cones are delicious, I think the convenience of eating ice cream back home (with A/C) is a major plus.The ice cream is so thick and whipped, perfect for devouring after a long day at the beach. You can’t go wrong with any flavor. I’d say we went back 2-3 times during our stay and ordered 3-5 different flavors each trip, never being disappointed with our selection. Will be our go-to place for ice cream when we return to the island again.

The Juice Bar is a staple ice cream spot in Nantucket. The ice cream is pretty good but their home made waffle cones are out of this world! There can be long lines but they move fast. It’s worth the wait but certainly not worth it if you are in a rush to make the ferry!

Must visit! Its nice that theres a place in Nantucket everyone can agree on, and (not being a local) you can tell people feel sentimental about the Juice Bar. Well deserved! The homemade waffle cone is definitely the highlight...anyone who gets a cup at a place like this baffles me. They have a good variety of flavors and plenty of staff to handle the crowds.Cons: That being said the lines do get CRAZY. Maybe thats half the fun for some people! But if thats not your style, come through anytime before 5pm and youll cruise through. The ice cream is pretty good, but not mind-blowing in my opinion — I prefer both JP Licks and FoMu in Boston on that front.

Coming from Bulgaria to the United States sometimes you begin to feel lonely. Especially when you don’t know how to speak English (this whole paragraph is translated from Bulgarian)I was regretting my decision on leaving the homeland until I found what felt like the first place that I was loved I was quickly excepted into the wonderful community and continue to go their every night, when I go through the wonderful doors I feel loved and excepted the people that take my order me fell so loved I truly cannot say anything bad about this heaven!

Yes, the ice cream is good, home made and some flavors are unique but Why wait in line for 20 minutes when there are other ice cream shops within a 5 minutes walk. 4 stars because ice cream is like pizza and sex... even when its not so great its still pretty good.

OVERRATED. Line is soooooooo long. The worker serving me ice cream didn’t know how to put soft serve ice cream into a cone. If that wasn’t the most simple task. Servers were too laid back and not attentive to my needs. BUT the ice cream was very good and I watched the waffle cones being made right in front of me which is why I am rating my experience 2 stars instead of one.

Long lines that move quickly. Superb ice cream and freshly made waffle cones. Id give them five stars, but, the prices, like everything else on Nantucket, are EXPENSIVE. $7.50 for a medium coffee ice cream waffle cone is a bit much. But, still worth the trip.

I have been coming to the Juice Bar for 30 years and even through change of ownership, it remains the best place to get ice cream on the island. Can’t recommend this place enough. Only gripe is that it doesn’t open earlier 😅

You can smell the waffle cones from down the road. You can also see the line from down the road. Ive waited 30+ minutes at peak times, and yet I keep coming back for more. Freshly made waffle cones and bowls and homemade ice cream that are always worth it.

The line is worth it. The ice cream and waffle cones are incredible. The cookie dough and cookies and cream are super good. Its cash only but if you dont have cash they have an ATM.

The young man at the juice bar who made my chocolate shake did an amazing job taking care of the fact that I have an allergy to bananas. He washed down every part of the blender the scoop and the counter to make sure that it was safe for me to eat there thank you very much I dont think you realize how much it means to me.

I think that my tongue was dancing when I licked just one lick of Dead Cricket. When your tongue touches some of their ice cream you will hear angels singing. If you are going on a ferry, pick up some ice cream before you go. The Juice Bar was built right next to where you get on the ferry. Oh! The line gets so, and I mean so long! Just for ice cream! I mean the best ice cream in the world. But the only reason why it is so long is because the ice cream tastes so awesome.That place is so cool they have cone cups! This Nantucket staple is home to my new favorite ice cream The Carl. In addition to the delicious flavor, the texture of their ice cream is absolutely incredible, and the waffle cones are out of this world!

Why people wait in an insane line for ice cream is beyond me. Nothing special, overall overrated and overrun, like much of Nantucket at this point.

Absolutely best ice cream shop I’ve been to. Ice cream tastes amazing and the service is great. Long lines can become an issue sometimes but as someone who lives on island in the summer, they tend to go fast and it is all a matter of what time you decide to go. From what I’ve noticed, Nighttime is the time when it’s a long wait. This place is also cash-only so be sure to have cash on you. As for pricing, it is a little expensive but if you know anything about Nantucket you will find that mostly everything on island is very pricy. It’s the cost of going on vacation on an island like ACK. Still would 100% recommend.
