The store is very good, the workers helpful, but you have to go there in person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME trying to call this store (or Verizon main number). They are absolutely useless, and impossible to navigate to a real person at the store. Verizon refuses to hire enough people to handle its call traffic, and the impediments to reaching a human on the phone are serious. You have to go to the store, even for a quick question or minor problem.
Please if your reading this SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! I literally just started using Verizon and already they charged my card twice and put me in debt 70$. When you try going to any store all they say is call customer service because bills paid on the kiosk is apparently not associated with the store chain itself, and when you do its an hour wait just for them to say that they cant do anything. I had to call my bank to get the transaction disputed but VERIZON LITERALLY STILL TOOK THE MONEY so please save yours!!!!
Sales person Keith was very nice. This rate is not a reflection of his abilities. My deepest apologies to the check in girl. Who did not ask if I had an appointment which I did. It was completely my fault I shamefully was not aware Verizon appointment screen was a different screen than the screen you were looking at. And yes I deserved to have you remove my appointment so I would wait an hour and half pass my original appointment. So be warned. If you have an appointment do not assume because you give your name they know you have an appointment. Be sure to take the Verizon 101 course before you head in.

We had to wait outside to be seen. When called I find out what I wanted to buy a Samsung watch was more expensive than online.
Other then that we had to wait more then a half hour, the staff was great.

Even with Covid protocols in place, my experience was very good. Robert was our sales associate and was your helpful and kind. We were in and out very quickly and all employees wore mask properly.
Their doing the whole covid-19 protocol. They sent 45 min working with me. Im handy capped. They did not bat a eye about my condition.
I have had the WORST experience with some of the employees at this location. There was an issue accessing my account because of incorrect contact information on their end. I went into the store for their assistance and supposedly the account was closed. A month the later when I received another larger bill I went into the store to question it and was faced with SHORT RESPONSES AND CONDESCENSION. One of the employees was basically laughing at me, A next month goes by and I received another bill for an account that was supposed to be canceled. This time I return to the store again for assistance with canceling it. I was told there was no way too verify that it was actually closed but that I would receive a refund. Two weeks go by and I return to this same location to settle the issue; multiple employees tell me there is nothing they can do to help, and they addressed many other customers (that were there after me) while I wait out in the cold on hold with a number they gave me. Many of the employees are rude to me, and clearly have an attitude whilst saying that it would be better if I weren’t there. The story from the employees change again and they allow me into the store to use their phone. This is when I find out that after “canceling” the account (Whilst on the phone in store) TWICE my account was STILL active. This is now two months after I had originally canceled the account. To make matters worse, they had incorrect information for my account which made is practically impossible for them to verify me. I went thought the cancellation process again but again there is no way to verify it so I am currently in limbo. Some employees were helpful but many were rude, laughed at my situation, changed their story on how they could help and lacked overall empathy. As a corporate location I would have expected better. It was a total disappointment. Shame on the decorum of some of the employees that I encountered.
DONT BOTHER. order your stuff online because thats what the sales reps will tell you to do there. Customer service an absolute ZERO.

I went here helping a friend upgrade her phone.The employee, while friendly, seemed very unsure of the deals and systems in place, and had to confer with someone higher up numerous times. A process that shouldve taken maybe 20 minutes kept us in there for 1-2 hours.The store itself had a frustratingly small assortment of accessories. We bought a base-model S21, and maybe had 3 cases to choose from, maximum. We also managed to get the very last USB-C to USB-A cable (we wouldve bought several otherwise). The selection seemed to cater to iphones and the more expensive variants of other phones.Beyond those complaints its a run of the mill Verizon store, and we ultimately got what we came for...so its doesnt deserve a terrible rating...just an average one.

Due to social distancing, etc only one person allowed in so my niece and I had to keep taking turns in and out of the store to do an upgrade. They also give you an instruction sheet to transfer all the info at home because theyre not doing that in the store also these days.

The customer service was terrible. I went to transfer my phone and buy a new one, and went with my mother who would be paying for it. They told us that only one could go in the store at a time, which makes no sense because it isn’t a doctors office. Then they told us that they couldn’t do data transfers because of covid, which again makes no sense. The man working the front door, who seems to be the manager, was rude and very dismissive. Spoke in an angry tone and did not make the customers feel good when working with him.
Theres no polite way to say this, so Ill just tell the truth: Verizon is the worst company in the world. Their stores are nothing more than an elaborate vending machine for the excrement that this company promotes, and worse, the subhuman wretches that are employed by this monolithic doody haven. I have been lied to and scammed by this store but fool me once shame on you, fool me twice? I dont think so. Stay away. Stay very far away.

Customer service is non-existent at this location! The moment I walked in, one of the representatives yelled across the room and said you need to sign in if you want to speak with someone! She did not follow her statement with any other kind of Direction, so I looked around to find the sign-in sheet. I couldnt find anything so I politely walked over to her and said can you please tell me where I sign in? To which she responded, right here, with me. It would have been helpful if she told me that from the start instead of having me waste my time looking around. After I gave her my account information she asked me why I was there. I told her what I wanted to do, switch a phone number from one account to another. She replied you cant do that here. You have to call for that. When I tried to ask for guidance from her, I was told, I told you, I cant help you, and she walked away from me!I was able to effectively process my transaction using the My Verizon app..... But I can assure you that I will never solicit this location again!
I have an account with 8 lines with Verizon and the only thing I got in the store was terrible attitude instead of friendly customer service.

Thorough and safe protocol. You can make an appointment ahead of time or wait outside, six feet apart, and check in via wifi. They throttle the amount of customers who can be inside simultaneously. Staff wear gloves, masks and work behind glass dividers. Payment, signature, etc done virtually as well. Sanitizer abounds. Austin was professional, courteous and helpful. I walked out with gear for my wife and I. Thanks!Edit: new or ineffective salesperson sold me 2 brand new Samsungs with accessory packages yet didnt sell my accessories to match the phones I had bought. Returning or exchanging was a nightmare as you cant actually call and get a live person.

Staff was knowledgeable and informative. They helped me troubleshoot problems that I was having with my galaxy watch. The first one was defective and they returned it for another one with out any problems. I had to go back there a few times and never felt abandoned or rushed.

Came here to switch my service from AT&T, i was with AT&T for 21 years. Finally i had it when i went to the Nanuet store and got HORRIBLE service... Decided to come here and switch my 8 lines.Cant say enough good things about Verizon.... Customer service is awesome!!!!!!! Phone service in NY destroys AT&T service!

Store in Nyack sold me a dud phone, a Galaxy. I cant even email myself 1 photo I took. I tried Verizon Network, Starbucks Wifi and Library Wifi. I downsized the image. Ive tried everything. Im so furious. My last bill was $194. A bit unheard of, and for a junk device.
The truth is I gave it a star because there is no way to not give any horrible experience, the one who attended us or knew what a staff was doing not friendly people if they could enter two and my husband and I could not and think that I thought that verizon had the best staff terrible they should close that store does not give any good service
We received excellent service from Matt porting a phone and transferring over a prepaid line. Although difficult and very lengthy he ensured the phone transfer went through regardless of system difficulties.
Felt like they were too bothered to help us. Didnt wont to transfer my data until I insisted. Then he did it with a annoyed look. Excuse me for expecting good service.
Never got to see if they could actually help me. Please note; if you go in to the store to, in my case, get a phone activated ( I just needed a SIM card) and your name is NOT on the account then they need to send a PIN number to someone else and they have to send it back to you however a) the rep there didnt tell me it had to be sent to someone else so after the 1st time I DID have it sent to someone else I then had it sent to my own phone because he was getting impatient and only THEN does he tell me it HAS to go to someone elses phone and b) theres a TIME LIMIT on getting the code in which I wasnt told so I eventually walked out. I found out that I could get the SIM card for free on Verizons website, they shipped it with 2 day priority shipping and I went back to the website to activate it. The WEBSITE (the chat there) is MUCH more helpful than this store and spent the time to help a client who has been with them over 12 years now.

Fast clean and efficient. Very nice staff and willingness to help anyone with either small or larger problems. It is located in a very good location, local restaurants and stores (Shops in Nanuet).
Had a pleasant visit. In and out in no problem...
So the people are nice but...First the person that said they checked me in did it wrong so I waited til I realized people that came in after me were being helped. When I told them I was put on the list as if Id just walked in.Then...although I had spent an hour plus troubleshooting my phone and had an email from Google indicating it needed to be replaced, they questioned it.Then it took over an hour to get a new phone ordered. Apparently there was something wrong on my data. Plus I had bought the phone at Verizon in Best Buy.At the end Im getting my phone replaced under warranty but what should have taken 10 minutes once I arrived took well over 90. And in the end not even an offer to cover expedited shipping. Nothing more than sorry it took so long.

I got 2 new galaxy 8+ and paid an additional $45 dollars each for the screen protectors thinking Im getting a superior product. Wrong. The next day one screen protector cracked and the following day the other one cracked. They didnt fall, they cracked just from regular use. I went back to the store and told them what happened, and I was told that they dont stand behind their product and they cant do anything about it. The product is obviously defective or they put it on incorrectly. Dont waste your time and money on accessories here. You will end up paying multiples times as much as anywhere else and end up with a defective product with no backing from the store.
This Verizon Store in Nanuet, NY is horrible. The manager Dennis was rude and made us wait because I raised my voice about a screen protector that a rep Jackie, gave my husband a hard time about the day before She didnt want to help to transfer the info from old phone to new phone and didnt want to put the screen protector on. Because my husband didnt purchase any accessories she rush to put the screen protector on and walked away. After waiting, a very good Rep Keith came over and got the other manager Amanda who was leaving for the day to help put another screen protector on. She was cordial and accommodating. Well after spending $49, the screen protector came off again the next day! Not going back, there ever again!

Best customer service experience
The woman at the door put my name on a list and said it would be a 10-15 minute wait. In less than 15 minutes Kaine approached me and helped me get a new phone plan started. He was so kind, knowledgable, and thorough. They ended up not having the (flip) phone I wanted, but he searched around and found out the store in West Nyack had it so I went there. Even though the store was really busy it was overall an enjoyable experience.
The Customer service for this company is the most horrible I have ever experienced. Online, over the phone and at the store, no one is able to help, they bounce you from place to place before someone even tries to help. They are only interested if you are purchasing new service, after that they are useless.

Me and my wife went to this location to compare phones to purchase. We were there for over half an hour and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE acknowledged us or asked if we needed anything. Im normally a patient man but after standing in front of BOTH service counters without anyone assisting us we just gave up. Stay away!!! Horrible customer service. Useless!

It is always more difficut to get money back or canceling the services than buying the phones or signing up. I was tossed around by Verizon when I was trying to get the charge waived for my diseased relatives. The store that the phone was bought from said I must go to the coporate store to retun the phone in order to avoid the charges and they said I must go to the store that the phone was purchased when I finally went to the coporate store. After all they took the phone and processed the refund for the phone but I still need to call verizon to get the credit for the service that hasnt been used. I wish they make it a little easier.
They never have a technical answer for Verizon owed phones. And I experienced a long transaction despite for over 4 months thanks to Chase who put it in dispute.

There are not enough people to staff the place. The ones that are on the floor keep disappearing into the back. Once they actually call your name after youve been waiting almost an hour theres no guarantee that they will help you. There is no tech support either
