I always like going to Big lots. Theyve actually done a better job cleaning up the store. In the past many items were jumbled up or on the floor but they seem to have got their act together now. You never quite know where youre going to get here and Ive gotten some amazing deals on name brand products that I probably would have paid 60% more on if I went to a regular store. Even on sale for example I got Sweet baby Rays barbecue sauce a large bottle for a dollar. That cant be beat no matter where you go. The problem obviously is that they run out of stock pretty quickly on the better items. Its kind of an adventure when you go here so just expect that you may not find anything great or the other hand you may find an amazing deal. Thats the fun of going to this type of store

Nice store. But did not have the furniture I wanted. Was under the impression that I was bothering him. I think he was not in the furniture dept and was from another dept. He made many suggestions but none useful.

Well let me start off by saying Big Lots never disappoints with friendly staff and amazing customer service. My daughter and I were looking for beds and thats where we met Ryan and he sold us the most amazing bed ever. He was very knowledgeable and smart when talking about furniture and how this bed in particular would help her sleep better and all around feel more energize..SURE enough he was right!!!!! My daughter feels so much better with her new bed. Great place to buy furniture and cheapest in NY. Will recommend whoever I know that needs furniture to Ryan. AMAZING SERVICE RYAN!!!!

The first time I tried Big Lots! and I am happy I did. I cant believe how cheap I payed for all this stuff I took home, after a wonderful shopping experience with spacial friendly costumer service.

They have quite a lot of things and I was very surprised, the place bright and not depressing like Job Lots (in my opinion). The people working there were very nice and helpful which was really nice. Its quite affordable and its just fun to look around. Its really hard to avoid spending more than you originally planned and thats not really a bad thing

Great staff, and makes you feel like a part of the family. Cheryl is great always meeting you with a smile and very helpful. And Mike the manager is awesome.

Almost every one in the big lots was friendly, particularly over the phone. However, Saul in the furniture section, though I understand that he was busy, was very rude and condescending.

Bought my tree and some Christmas stocking. Store had a wide assortment of Christmas items.

I go there for the DVDs and blue Rays, I just wish the sales were more clearer. I usually find out at checkout that things were on sale. Which is nice I just wish knew beforehand.

Love big lots always have what youre looking for however this location is not always clean.

I bought two nightstands and one vanity set online and had to return them because I found better deal for the nightstands and the vanity was of totally poor quality. The old guy at the customer service gave us that “I don’t want to help you and you are not welcome here” look when we got these giant boxes in the cart. He found I bought online and didn’t have the receipt which did not come with the delivery at all. I told him I have the order history on my phone and all he needed was the order no. He pointed us to the furniture section saying he was not able to help. Okay I was impressed by the rudeness and hope I don’t have to deal with him again. Furniture counter told us the return is at the front. Great! And the furniture sales Chris came to help us because this old guy just could not figure out how to do it in their system( he gave me the impression that he’s just delaying everything on purpose because of the impatience he showed). Chris tried his best to worked everything out and finally the old guy was able to calm down a little and said he was sorry that it took us like half an hour for the return. Lesson learned: you probably can find a better deal for the same stuffs here and if it is a steal, it’s horrible quality. And the customer service can be so bad to ruin your day. My first purchase and the last here.

Love shopping here always find great stuff for my home and truly love the fact I got a big lots credit card. Big Lots is one of my favorite stores.

Fun place to come and shop. You can often find some very good deals on great products. Not everything is exceptionally priced, so you need to browse and have somewhat of an understanding of prices.This location is never that packed, but theres usually only 1 or 2 registers open... which means there is ALWAYS a bit of a line.

Decent values on occasionally interesting foodstuffs but many of the edibles are simply junk food. Saw some furniture that actually looked decent that was priced well but quality and provenance is questionable. The ABSOLUTELY most annoying aspect of shopping here is the understaffed checkout area. Long s-l-o-w- checkout lines caps-off each visit with a solid dose of misery.

Its ok but some items are cheaper at target and Walmart

So-so pricing. Many items with no prices. Store clean. Shelves in disarray. No help on floor. Only worth going when they have 20% off friends and family event.

The prices for the most part are the best! There r things u can get there where u cant get n e where else n for really good prices!!! Love this store def 1 of my faves

Excellent service and prices

I bought a bedding set that was missing the sheets. When I called I dealt with Darnell who went above and beyond to assist me and rectify the issue. He arranged for me to pick up a matching set of sheets the next day. Unfortunately, when I went after work I dealt with an employee who was not helpful, made me wait almost 30 minutes for an answer and basically told me there was nothing he could do. I called Darnell the next day who was extremely apologetic and arranged for my items to be available for me without delay that day. If it was not for the professionalism and courtesy of Darnell I would not be a returning customer. Thank you for all your help and I definitely will be shopping there again soon.

Amazing, quick in n out, less than 30 minutes, low cost, unexpected fabulous savings & sales, the exact perfect finds tonight on this shopping trip. The store was due to close at 10pm, walked in not to be that pesky last shopper holding the store up from closing, but I have been trying to get down here for dayssssss, just havent had any time to do so, but I knew exactly what I needed/wanted to get & their approximate locations in the store, so I knew it wasnt a real take my time type of shopping tonight. Found everything I came in for, at lower prices than I had even anticipated theyd be initially & came across some other really great finds that I obviously couldnt just pass up. Super happy with tonights shopping experience, the customer service sales representative was also super sweet, she came to me in the isle that I was in & said she wanted to make sure they didnt take the cash drawer from her quite yet just in case I was paying cash myself, I thought that was really great of her to have asked me before it being taken away. I told her I could pay either way it was easier for them to get themselves out sooner if cash or a card would make life easier for them, as obviously the cash drawers have to be counted I figured someone still needed that drawer if she was asking me how I was gonna pay. Really thoughtful & courteous to have done that. Overall couldnt have gone any better tonight at this Big Lots location! 👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌

Big Lots Nanuet is a really good place to shop for Basic Essentials and health and beauty items their prices are really competitive and that customer service are great not to mention they also sell furniture for a very good price but it is mostly low quality.
