This is a great liquor store with an immense selection of alcohol. This shop has a huge selection of bourbon which is often hard to find. It may be overwhelming for some due to the many different brands and varieties, however I personally love it. I love going through the ilse over and over and every time I find something new. I am going to say I have come back to this store time and time again because they have a great selection and good prices (I have overlooked a lot that irks me about coming to this store bc of these two factors). I also want to preface I dont want to completely villainize the employees because there are many there who are knowledgable and super helpful. That being said recently I was pushed over the edge when they requested not 1, not 2, but 3 forms of ID at check out. I have been consistently been coming to this store for the last 5 years and they check my ID every time. While I respect they check to be safe and that they probably get many customers (and nothing makes me special), requesting 3 forms of ID in addition that I do not look underage was completely out of line. I have continued to be a patron at the store despite the creepy vibe (of some of the male employees in particular), the mansplaining (when I have a substantial knowledge of wine), and the ID checking (bc honestly I get they want to be safe) the request for 3 forms of ID was the last straw and I wont be going back anymore.

I give it 4 stars because of the good selection they have and because of one or two helpful people working there. The male cashier with eyeglasses is the friendliest of the few friendly people working there.

Apart from this place being a little too small inside I love the price here. I got what I needed, would recommend.

Largest selection in the area. Better sale and case prices. Customer service is abrupt, but they will help you take your purchases to your car. In summary, if you know what you want and prices matter, come here. If youre looking for the boutique experience and recommendations, go somewhere else. Too busy and too much inventory.

The prices are excellent. The place is pretty cluttered and lines get long. They have a lot of registers but they definitely should work on wider aisles (only one person can fit through at a time) and a less cluttered visual. I’m always nervous im going to knock a bottle down with my purse. The parking is minimal so on busy days like Fridays, that’s pretty annoying. The staff is nice but not very helpful for helping you find what you want or offering suggestions. They don’t seem very knowledgeable on their products so you kinda have to know what you are looking for.

I went in looking for Kerrygold Irish cream but couldnt find it. The selection here is good but on the pricey side. Location cannot be beat though.

Place is terrific but not for the faint of heart. Generally excellent prices, and deep selection, but little or no help apart from volumes of notices posted by each bottle (check the dates to make sure theyre writing about the available vintage!) And steer clear on afternoons approaching Thanksgiving and Christmas unless you enjoy long lines. But for every day needs- its the best.

Good collection but they close too early

Good prices, employees were helpful with selection. But when I ordered, two of the employees at the desk with the cashier were wearing masks as chinguards, and continued to talk with their masks down with the cashier (who was masked) as I completed my order.I didn’t want to make a scene but as a customer it made me feel unsafe and now my family is making me get a Covid test. I hope to support them in the future but they need to do better following mask policy.

This is the best place that I have found in Rockland county to purchase wine and liquor. What sets them apart is that they have a HUGE selection for you to choose from. For instance, I wanted some Mango Patron. No other place that I looked for had it in stock. Could i have ordered some over the net. Sure. But this place had it in stock. Try it out you will be happy.

This is a scary place during the Coronavirius. They do not practice or enforce social distancing, the clerks have their mask around their chins not over their noses and mouths and when I was there it was packed and the computer system was down. The prices are good no question and right know you are risking your life to go there

I’ve been going here for 28 years huge selection to choose from. Stop in and chat with the owners Damon and Michael they are knowledgeable about all their inventory and have never recommended anything I didn’t like.

As others have mentioned, the prices here are amazing. Sometimes a little too crowded and you may have to park a little far away depending on the time of day you go. In general a good selection.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, eager to answer questions. Found my hard to find kirk and sweeney rum her. Very few places stock this. They usually have a wine tasting on saturdays. The prices here are very fair, not cheap, but fair. Tight aisles and popular place make navigating through a challenge, but well worth the trip and time.

Ive been living in Stony Point for a few years now. I was toasting with my neighbors in the new year and I told them that I shop at the liquor store in Stony Point and that they are pricier than an outlet I used to go to. They told me about Buy Wise and I was excited to see what all the talk was about. As I got there, they had a huge selection of wines and spirits and sure enough, the pricing was spot on and the wines and spirits even had the ratings on them. I went from aisle to aisle matching up the prices I knew in my head. So why the 2 stars you might ask. The checkout counter is about 18 feet wide and every aisle that I would enter into, a young guy was craning his neck and making incidental eye contact with me. I wasnt sure if he was a twin or a triplet or even a quadruplet that I happen to notice him through the whole width of the store but sure enough, everytime I felt eyes on me, sure enough he was there. As I made my way to the counter an older gentleman was relieving him and he as making a beeline into the aisles until he noticed me walking up to the counter to which he became disoriented and began scratching his head, stuck in the very spot he lost his bearings.I settled on a bottle of very nicely priced Ricura Horchata. I loved the variety and pricing but I didnt leave with a good feeling in my gut. My local place is more pricey but sometimes its worth it for the experience.

One of the biggest liqour outlets in Rockland County that carries a very wide variety of wines and spirits. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Some will even offer you recommendation on what to get. Just be ready to be banging shoulders with your fellow shoppers especially when its a busy day since the place is crammed. And if you find another place that has a lower price, they will match it.

Favorite liquor store around. Great prices, huge selection... only issue is that because of the huge selection, the aisles are VERY tight. Not very maneuverable with a shopping cart or even if you just want to browse and take your time.

I am really surprised with the customer service we received at this location today. Weve been coming here now for 8 months since we just moved to area but I will definitely no longer patronize this business anymore. The people at the front counter treated us like 2nd class citizens asking for ID with an attitude and I could understand that if we were in our 20s but we are in our 50s. When we asked why he said its protocol.No one else got questioned about Identification nor was anyone else that was in the front making purchases treated and questioned in that manor. I understand certain protocols but then do that to everyone not just us. Was it because we were brown skinned people at least thats how they made us feel. Its horrible to be made to feel like that.Im really surprised with our treatment. Very dissatisfied customer
