Windows were installed Nov. 13, 2020My experience was all positive. I was impressed by the professionalism of the team. All the members were courteous, respectful of my property and very pleasant to deal with. I could tell they knew what they were doing & never did I doubt of their ability to deliver even though my install was quite challenging. Positives: The windows and doors were actually installed and it only took 9 hours to do 3 windows plus one sliding glass door.Negatives: So many that it hurts to list them. Starts out with very minor issues and just escalates into major issues.1. They never informed us what time they would be arriving on the first work day.2. The work crew arrived before we were out of bed and kept banging loudly on the door instead of using the doorbell.3. Only two people showed up for the job instead of the three people we were told would show up and they proceeded to bite off more than they could chew in one day.4. It was 34 degrees outside and they immediately banged out the windows and doors instead of working on one at a time. This dropped the indoor temperature well below freezing and added wind chill throughout the entire house.5. Even though all the windows were removed, they only worked on one opening at a time. Could not turn on heat since the entire house was wide open and we had no safe warm room to retreat to. They told us we could be at home during the installation, but never said their working methods pretty much make it impossible to be at home without freezing. It was actually colder in the house than it was outside because of their way of working.6. It gets worse but...thus list is to be continued...they are still trying to finish the job and it is a week later than when they started.

American Window Systems replaced 4 windows in our home in Napa to make them more energy efficient. The company was very easy to work with, the installers were prompt, polite and thoughtful ... and very hard-working. I am very pleased with our experience with American Window Systems and will recommend them highly to friends.
