Went late at night. We expected people stocking the shelfs. But did not expect such a mess. There was isles with half eaten food on the floor. The guy that checked us out must have been his first day doing so. Prices where pretty high compared to our usual store

Not cist friendly at all. I remember the days when they used to not out eggs on the bottom of a 2 liter of Pepsi. Really, customer service doesnt exist anymore especially in napa, a town I was born in. I wish all the tourists that moved here 15 years ago would GTFO. Safeway is overpriced and they hire people that dont understand anything (89 IQ) as management and the courtesy clerks need Helmuts. Id rather live in Vallejo now. Napa in the 80s and 90s rocked and was family friendly. Now its all about tourists, wine tasting and going to delis that charge 30$ a sandwich. Meh I was born here but I aint gonna die here.

The guys in the meat department were great the women in the pharmacy were terrific and the checkout out lady was awesome!

Mostly a review of pharmacy- staff was rude and not friendly at all. Asked a simple question about flu shot and got major attitude.

Rude employees. Who arent even smart enough to lock the doors when they are closed. And yell at customers when it isnt even posted anywhere. The management should not expect customers to be mind readers. I wasnt the only customer who was in the store just the only customer who got belittled for not being a local.

Attempted to stop by the deli at 630am (I made sure to look that it was open and its open at 6am)We waited at the counter for ten minutes before I asked an employee stocking items if she could please have someone help at the deli.Anabel came out of the back and was not happy. I asked for a breakfast burrito and she said they didnt have any of the items prepared for breakfast burritos.Poor customer service. Dont act inconvenienced by me for asking you to do what you are paid for

Great variety, very fresh produce, clean store. It is overall expensive so make sure you sign up for the club membership. That should help your pocket.

Napa SAFEWAY is always a joy to shop at. Even in the Age of COVID, they have the store expertly played out to maximize ones shopping experience. Very clean and well kept too.

Store is always clean. Fruits & vegetables are always fresh. Prices a little higher but WELL WORTH the overall quality. I recommend Safeway.

A lovely place to buy whatever foods you need and whenever. However the parking lot is sometimes full so you might want to consider that. But, thats not usually a problem. The cakes are great and they have Evey thing from batteries to walnut. The point is you should go to this shop to get what you need when you need it.

Love this Safeway here, they have all the hard to find good stuff. Plus they have a awesome huge deli, hot and cold meats and hundreds of cheeses and bries. A must check out! Save room for yummys at the full fresh in house bakery!

This is a very clean and organized Safeway.

The store has really stepped up its sanitary practices.They were well stocked w/ just about everything. Had no problem finding everything on our list.However, the one-way aisle signs are merely a suggestion to some shoppers who will do what they want. While most shoppers wore face coverings, some did not. Dont know what, if anything, can be done about that.

As at pretty much every store in town they had no Kleenex or toilet paper or sanitizing wipes or liquid. But I did find my moms cereal, so it wasnt a totally wasted trip.

The store is great, but the parking has become impossible is the past couple of years. It used to be my favorite store, and I love going there. But, I often find that it takes as much time to find a space navigate the traffic and pedestrians as it does in the store. Who wants to double their shopping time?

Safeway pharmacy is my favorite. Usually not very busy and the technicians are very professional.

Safeway has lost a lifetime customer. I will not be returning to a store that locks feminine care products in a case. I dont know if Safeway thinks women are thieves or if they just think its fun for us to announce our yeast infections publicly. But either way, I will be taking my business to Lucky where they respect women.

Soda supply, especially sale items, is skimpy. Diet Coke products practically non-existent and NO Fresca!!!I finally left the store. Realize that supply chain is messed up due to Covid but disappointed.

What you would expect a grocery store to be. Clean, good selection, fresh items, fairly priced. I was not surprised I have always liked Safeway. Never been to one until I came to the west coast. I actually ended up working at one in Oregon managing the Video Dept in the mid-nineties. Hospitable place.

Help for Safeway Safeway is one of the places I shop all the time except for its a little far away from my house and Luckys is closer I still prefer to shop at Safeway only because they have 5 of $5 Fridays every week and theyre always understanding and kind and theyre open 24/7. Im not a big people person, I dont really like to be out around a whole bunch of people so its very nice that I can go in there anytime in the middle of the night and go shopping . Plus when Im shopping I always can find the deals for the next week which I like as well.

This Safeway on on Trancus st. I like it. They got a great selection of meats seasoned and non. I always find what I need .unlike Nob Hill Foods who cant even keep there meats stocked but thats another review. If you want to shop and get what you came to get. Then come to Safeway and save some time and a headache

I love Safeway... but I went about 6, 7 and a deli worker was so rude. I had to walk out....Some quality customer service should be reminded... it really makes a difference

The girl in the Deli was rude. I asked for the havarti cheese and she said she had to clean the slicer first and I looked at the other slicer that was clean and she said she cant use that one. She also said it was going to take a long time. I said that was ok. I went to get a sandwich made and came back and she didnt slice it.and had a bunch of excuses. She wasyin a good mood from the beginning so I said thats ok. I dont need the cheese. Food is usually not very tasty when its given with bitterness.

I was weighted by what seemed to be a young girl manager supervisor she was talking to the people for me So when my time came I came up to the register and a young men came behind her and she just started talking to him And Proceeded to ring my items up 1 by 1 not even looking at me just talking to this kid she was chewing gum like there was no tomorrow And then she made fun of the kid because he didnt know what to do would some keys they were talking about and turned to me and said ..some people...... and I was thinking you havent even say hello to me you didnt even say good evening have a good day this is your amount and for a minute I thought Ill talk to somebody but then I realized her name tag had a the title as a supervisor😑😑😑 just not polite but nowadays a politeness seems to be fading away from more more places

I think this clean, bright store has just about everything you could ask for. And they do home delivery for those ordering online. Its the only store Ive found in the area that has quite a few lactose free food items.

In the late/early hours (12am and a little after) it gets hard to maneuver through the isles from all the boxes and carts the employees carry for restocking, but thats there job. Its easy to go to the next isle to pass. Love the options and glad to be a club member.

Very friendly and clean. Wish all Safeway would stalk cherry coke zero though when they have it on sale.

Live here, get off work late. You have to love when they shut down registers from 1-1:30am - even when in line - LITERALLY STANDING IN LINE. WTF. Hate that this is our only 24 hour option.

Why would I bother to shop here? Just went in to get a club card so I could take advantage of the club prices and was told they have been out since before Thanksgiving so its a no go on the reduced prices. I asked if they had a temporary card. No, but I could ask someone in line for their phone number and piggyback on their card. Really? Forget Safeway. Plenty of other grocery stores to choose from.

I went in on a Sunday night to go get my groceries as usual, I went to check out and the cashier Anita who helped out was very rude, she did not approach me at all she did not smile once and she had a very negative attitude, She started to throw my groceries and when i asked her nicely to please stop she completely ignored me and continued. She than stated that it was my fault that she was in a bad mood. her words exactly ITS BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT LIKE TO COME IN ON SUNDAYS TO SHOP THAT PUT ME IN A BAD MOOD I felt very disrespected. I do not agree with this type of customer service ! Horrible experience!
