Saying David and Joe know their stuff is an understatement. I was able to not only get my 8mm film reels transferred from the 70s onto DVD, but also have my wifes camcorder footage also put onto DVD to share with the family. When I ran across our old 8 mm films I puzzled over what to do with them....but found the Retired Film Guys online. I emailed them with my questions and they took the time to answer all of my questions. I mailed the film to them and was surprised when they notified me that they were done. My family and I gathered around to watch the DVD and we laughed as well as cried since some of the people are no longer with us but brought back so many great memories. We are so thrilled that we found the Retired Film Guys & appreciate them for their help to digitize our memories from a format that is long gone. Great quality, great prices, great people to deal with.

Fast and amazing quality. I started with about 1600 ft of 8 mm old films to be transferred to DVD. Loved it so much Im doing it again!! My grandfather passed a few years ago...brought back many memories watching those old films.

Make no mistake, these are the Film Guys.I had 31 rolls of film from 1941 to 1979 but the cost was hard to figure out with others. These guys did a wonderful job on my old Super 8mm movies (18 of them). The resulting discs (one BluRay and a few DVDs) were perfect. They were bright and had no flutter at all. The discs are labeled very professionally, and their turn-around time was very quick. They also answered email questions very quickly and respectfully. So the result could not have been better. The icing on the cake is that their prices beat any other I could find (e.g. Sams Club, Cosco, other web sites). I highly recommend this source for transferring your old 8mm and Super 8mm movies to DVDs and BluRays.
