Fantastic service, a walk in with a nail in my tire. They got me right in and back on the road. We were traveling from Cleveland to right outside of Chicago. Such good service. Quick and extremely professional. Wish they were closer (cle) I’d continue going to them.

I’ve been to this place twice. Both times I was greeted with friend people and provided awesome service. I had to have my tire repaired then eventually changed. They found the tires I wanted, ordered them, and installed them all within a few hours. I would strongly recommend this place!

Had an alignment done for my lowered mustang and also installed rotors and pads. The service was exceptional and techs were thorough with the work. Im a self-taught mechanic and Ive worked with a lot of shops before. With no doubt about it, I approve the quality of work and effort. Although I havent used them a lot. The times I went in for services, because I was to busy to do them, they got it done quickly and wasnt a jerk about it. They even complimented my 25 year old beater...

The shop took care of me. I had a slight stretch wheel setup and instead of saying no right away due to liability issues they made the effort to put the tires on. I appreciated that.

He price matched the online deal i had gotten and had informed me of a bigger issue my car had. Though i wasnt able to do the repair on my first visit due to some personal issues that are not related to the store. Matt was more than accommodating to make sure i got what i needed when i was able to come back. 10/10 would and do recommend going here.

Came in for a wheel alignment but unsatisfied with the end result. Matt reached out to me via text regarding my experience with them and I told him my car was still pulling to the right, I told him if I can come back get a re-alignment cause I was unsatisfied with the alignment. With no questions asked he said no problem just come thru whenever u have a chance so I did and I’m happy with the end result. I’m 100% coming back to this place

Stopped by around 5:30 yesterday to make an appointment to have my new wheels and tires mounted the next day. They told me to bring them on by and they would take care of me same day. Talked through what I needed: remove and dismount stock wheels and tires, remove TPMS, install TPMS on new wheel, mount and balance new wheels and tires with new hardware. They took their time, did the job right, and delivered a perfect set of blemish-free wheels. Even more, they stayed after hours to do so. Price was more than fair considering the effort and attention to detail. Ill definitely be back for any future wheel/tire needs.

Great experience at Acorn Tires. We were able to get our tires online thru Goodyear w/ a rebate and the staff at Acorn were great installing them and realigning my Suburban! Andres was so knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Definitely beat the competitor that I USED to go to!

After speaking with and getting a price for an oil change at the Ogden location, in error, I realized my error as I got closer & called this location for an appointment, they were available, however, their price points were higher than the location 15 minutes East. After going around with them for a few minutes and realizing the price wouldn’t be honored I left. Don’t be duped by this location!

I had a tire issue and stopped by while doing errands. They got me in quick and communicated the issue quickly and told me how much time which was 45 mins. The cost was reasonable. The waiting area was comfortable too.

Ive been to both locations for oil changed, brakes, etc. Trustworthy and great service. I did have to wait a couple hours longer than they told me one time but otherwise, no complaints.

Very good shop. They know what they are talking about and keep you advised of the cost and procedures during the repair. Not many places have this level of customer service.

I came in to check why the tire pressure of one of my tire was low and the people at acorn not only identified the issue but also gave me a good quote on new one. Plus they didnt charge me anything for identifying the issue which took almost 30 min. Amazing service

I brought my car into Acorns with a leaking tire. They let me know it was not repairable and they offered me a used tire that was a few years old but still has really, really good tread on it. It worked for me as i needed a new tire ASAP. One day later i was told by a friend who checked it out that this tire WAS 10 YEARS OLD. This is outrageously unethical and wildly unsafe, it will take you all of two seconds to Google the safety hazards of old tires, even if the treads good. Discount Tire as a company will not sell a tire older than FOUR years, SIX years is the absolute oldest tire that should be used, regardless of tread. ACORNS KNOWINGLY INSTALLED A 10 YEAR OLD TIRE ON MY CAR. i gave them the chance to make it right and they wanted MORE money hahaha. You have two choices fellow reviewers.1- You can go to ANY tire shop near by (there are plenty LOOK)2- You can put your trust in someone who knowingly installed a 10 year old tire on my car. Little bit of research you would be beside yourself to learn how unethical and dangerous this is.

I am a new driver and my Mom is very selective with where she takes my car for service. Acorn has not only sold me awesome tires - but they do all kinds of automotive repairs as well. We take my car there for everything. They are very nice, reliable people. Several of my Moms co-workers go there too as they are quick and thorough. Highly recommend this store!

Good prices, and good people. Matt (the manager) always applies coupons whenever possible. What took me there the first time was their convenient hours — open till 7:00 PM on weekdays; and also open on Saturdays. I’ve been taking all my cars there since.

Update: just had some issues with my vehicle making a grinding noise (it was concerning). Having to drive regularly is part of my job so ensuring my car is safe is key. I brought it to Matt and team to check it out. I didn’t have an appointment but was open to getting it back whenever since they seemed busy. The assistant manager said they’d get it done as soon as they could but they didn’t have an appointment for a few hours. No problem. Left it there and expected a call the next day. No, 2 hours later they called to say I needed new brakes and a flush. And 3 hours later they were done. Wow. Knowing it wasn’t going to be cheap, it was still equal to or frankly better than competitors. Always know I get a fair shake at Acorn Tire, that’s why I keep going there for everything.It was a simple headlamp change. I dont have the needed tools or space to disassemble the headlamp itself so I brought it here on recommendation. They gave me a completely reasonable price unlike every other place I called. When you can do the simple easy stuff at an affordable price, thats when you know the big, difficult stuff is going to be the same way!

They were fantastic! Came to help me jump my car and bring it in during this crisis. I now know when we are able to return to “normal” that my car is ready to go 😊

They did a quick oil change and rotated my tires for free. They were purchased at a different location but they gladly agreed to rotate for free. I recently moved and I’ll definitely be bring my business to this shop.

My friend was there for an oil change. After the oil change they suggest him to change the tire because they said the tires were bad. They offer him $700 cost to change all the tires. My friend turned it down because we always get the tires from the junkyard. It is cheaper and most of the time the tires are basically good as new. He told me about the tire problems I said let me take a look. Then after I took a look. The traction on the tires are still good. There is no reason to be replacing it. So I told him, you are being con by the most auto repair shop trick. They tried to charge you more service payment to boost their business. This is the store that does that kind of stuff. Shame on them.

You won’t find a lot of automotive service centers that are as friendly, honest, reasonably priced and hard working as Acorn Tire. They also call you to give you updates throughout the day and if you don’t call them back soon enough they’ll call you again! It honestly blew me away. Top notch customer service.I got my alignment corrected at Acorn after I just spent a few weeks redoing the front suspension/drivetrain & brakes on my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer SS. While Acorn was doing my alignment they noticed I was leaking brake fluid from the master cylinder (this was from me torquing on my brake line when I was changing out the brake line hose.) they showed me the leak I had them fix it and I was on my merry way.This team is truly steller, thank you Matt & Jeff you guys were fantastic to work with.

I would recommend GY (Acorn) to everyone wanting excellent service and fair pricing for services. My daughter had an issue with her car and they were able to take the car in immediately to address it over the weekend before the weather got bad. The service was quick and efficient and the pricing was fair and reasonable. I will definitely go back there to service both of my cars if needed.

FRAUD ALERT!!! First do not be fooled by the big Goodyear sign thinking that this store is part of a national chain with standards and ethics. According to Goodyear all we do is sell them tires and they are an independent shop. I learned this after trying to make a complaint with Goodyear. I was first quoted $125 on the phone for installation of a part. I brought the part with me. I once again confirmed the price of $125 at the shop. When I went to pay I was told $138.47. I said you told me $125. He said sales tax. I said there is no sales tax on mechanics labor in Illinois.Three more times he told me sales tax. I paid the full $138.47 against my better judgement. I then asked for a manager. Some extremely rude employee came out from the back and said right away sales tax. I told him there is no sales tax on mechanics labor. He then said we never know what the computer is going to charge at the end and walked away mid-conversation. When I looked at the bill it said shop supplies $12.50 plus .97 cents sales tax on the $12.50. An honest business would have quoted $125 plus 10% upfront since they know they will be charging it. They think it is acceptable to just tack on 10% and try to pass off the bogus charge as sales tax. Any attorneys reading this...this sure looks like a class-action lawsuit. I left 2 messages for Matt the manager to call me and the calls were not returned. One can only wonder what other deceptive practices this company does when they have your car in their shop.

We were traveling from out of town and had a flat tire that couldn’t be repaired. Matt at Acorn Tire went above and beyond to get us back on the road fast. They didn’t have the tire Onhand at their store so Matt sent one of his guys on a 1.5 hr round trip to go to another store and get the tire we needed. Definitely recommend these guys!!

I have been a client of Acorn Tire for over 15 years. During this time, I have used them exclusively to replace and service tires for my 3 cars. Acorn provides competitive prices on their tires and service. Also, I would highly recommend getting their warranty plan for the tires they install. This way, every time you have an issue, the service is free. Most cars have alloy wheels nowadays, and these are more likely to have rim-related issues yearly. Acorn provides prompt and friendly service to fix leaks and will replace your tire if there is significant damage. Overall, I highly recommend them.

I had a tire that was continually losing pressure, but very slowly and others hadn’t been able to locate the issue. The staff at Acorn was able to identify the problem almost immediately and fix it in less than 30 minutes. Have had no issues since.

Ive been getting my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced the last few months here and I have been very pleased with the quality service I receive. Theyve repaired what I needed done and never tried to up sell any services I didnt need which a lot of shops do. Ive watched their tech do a simple brake job on my Jeep and noticed that he was very detail oriented and didnt just slap my rotors and pads on. Being a tech myself in the electrical and electronic field, I was very impressed and noticed quality work even on the simplest repair.Thank you guys for the good work you do and will be back very soon as Im slowly restoring my Jeep back to stock condition.
