Steve, from Cabinetry Direct, came up with creative solutions to help us make our dream kitchen a reality. Everyone involved in our kitchen remodel were professional and experts in their trade. Steve followed the project from start to finish. He answered every question we had and helped guide us through the process. We couldnt be happier with our experience with Cabinetry Direct.

I cannot speak to the quality of their products because I never had a chance to explore them. I just went into the store on Aurora Avenue in Naperville and the gentleman there couldn’t be less interested in helping me. He did not greet me until I approached him and then he said, OK, hold on a minute and proceeded to sit back in his chair and continue to browse on his cell phone. I waited five minutes and he didn’t say anything more or get up out of his chair. No one else was in the shop. No wonder.

We have gone through Cabinetry Direct 2x now to build a bar and rebuild our entire kitchen. These guys go above and beyond to insure you have the best design for your end product. We tried other places for design but never had the same outcome for the product. Prices are awesome and product comes on time :) I wont go anywhere else for cabinets

This will be short! I walked into the store around 11:00am on Monday, to find the only gentleman working sound asleep at his desk in the rear of the store. I was looking for a particular brand of cabinetry. I walked through the entire store and it wasn’t until I purposely slammed a cabinet door that he woke up. He kind of got out of his chair to ask if I needed help. I asked my one question and received a short answer. Will not return.....ever!

I would give Steve at Cabinet Direct zero stars if I could, and I would do it with no supporting narrative due to the fact that my encounters with him do not deserve to be revisited. However, I think it’s important to share experiences on here, as I personally put a lot of value on reviews when dealing with something important (like my home!) and when giving up such a substantial amount of well-earned cash.Of course if you are seeking cabinetry that is mainly one straight line, you’ll have a good experience probably anywhere you go. My kitchen, however, is very small and involved a little more thought and attention to the tight corners and small space.In my conversations with Steve, I experienced (what I interpreted as) immediate disrespect, condescension, and perpetual negativity on Steve’s part. I chalked it up to Steve just not wanting to do this job, however, after reading Michelle’s review on yelp where she says to “Stay far away from this place”, I am beginning to believe this is just his every day demeanor in the face of challenge.In Michelle’s yelp review, Steve responds saying that her kitchen had ‘obstacles’ and references those obstacles as being a big source of their issues. I can only imagine the pain Michelle (and her husband) had to go through trying to work with this man, and I truly feel sorry for them. It seems the side of Steve I experienced in the drawing board stage probably didn’t come out to Michelle & her husband until they were already committed to his services. Every time something posed any additional thought, Steve just seemed to shut down and say he couldn’t do it, and it felt like he would negate everything that we said.For lack of better words, I felt he was just plain nasty.When going through any type of kitchen remodel, you know there are bound to be issues. You want someone you know can work through those issues. Someone who can think out of the box and work with a positive attitude.I ended up ordering my cabinets from one of Steves many competitors for white glove service (something he also said he couldnt offer me). His competitor was able to accommodate every small corner/challenge my kitchen posed, and I couldn’t be happier by the sound of Steve’s door at Cabinetry Direct shutting behind me.

Had a wonderful experience with Cabinetry Direct! Steve was so easy to work with and really listed to my concerns to design a perfect kitchen for my family and I. Ordering and delivery went very smoothly and my new cabinets were installed within two weeks of being ordered.

Horrible communication and gives false promises on time frame when the products will arrive. This backed up my project about 3 weeks

We had such a great experience working with John and Steve at Cabinetry Direct in Naperville. John and Steve have the utmost knowledge when it comes to cabinets. Not only are they knowledgeable, they bring 15+ years of experience each, and they worked with us on every addition we wanted to try and get us what we wanted.The whole transition of our kitchen cabinet project was superb, from start to finish. What we found amazing is how John, owner, is involved throughout the process. John came out, made his own measurements, helped deliver his own cabinets, and even self delivered items at our convenience. You wont get this personal service at Home Depot, Menards, or Lowes. If we had to do this all over again, we would not hesitate to reach out to John or Steve.We have already recommended Cabinetry Direct to friends and family as they fall in love with our cabinets. Thanks to John and Steve our kitchen is beautiful!!! Walked in to browse around. The guy working there was eating, but greeted me. When I was ready to ask questions he wasnt attentive and kept eating. This was around 5pm. I asked a couple of questions and he answered half heartedly. He was still eating. I tried not to interrupt him too much, but when I asked for brochures that I saw inside the cabinets he said that I couldnt take them. I couldnt understand what he was saying, because he was still shoving food into his mouth. I guess I wasnt important enough to him as a costumer. Btw... We are serious shoppers that are in the process of remodeling our entire kitchen. Walked out of there after 10 minutes of browsing. Its too bad because there were items in the showroom that caught my eye.

Steve was very helpful in assisting with the new cabinets for our kitchen and the prices are very good for the quality of cabinets.
