My review is on dealing with Ron in the turf care (fertilizers, controls, seed, etc). Ron is an absolute knowledge center on turf and will only sell you what he knows will be best for your needs and situations. He asks all the right questions to get you to a solution that will be best. He always goes out of his way to be helpful.

This Russo is absolutely a joke. You would think they would have more people at the parts department but instead they have 2 people with a line of 10 guys trying to get a part and get to work. Calling in parts isnt even possible you just get put on hold for 10 mins before they take your number down to call you back. Do yourself a favor and go purchase from Carol Stream Lawn and Power.

Had a terrible experience with an encore power raker, was turning off on the first house🤬. I was charged $50 at Schiller park location for restocking fee because I returned it and I upgraded to a blue bird power raker. Which cost me 940$ more. I wanted something reliable. The blue bird worked for two weeks and it needed maintenance. I took it to the Naperville location half an hr before closing time. The repair front desk person told me the mechanics were gone for the day and I had to check it in to be looked at and I would get it back in a couple of days. I took the case to the sales manager. I think his name was Matt. He told me his mom worked for Firestone and he learned some things from her. He looked at the power rake and fixed it. He went out of his department to help me out. If it wasn’t for him I would of had a complete bad experience. Thank you Schiller park location. Thanks Matt

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. The Naperville location has gone down hill in the last couple years. Theres more employees standing around laughing and playing on there phones than there is working. Parts department is a joke, you will wait forever sometimes well one person helps customers and the others sit there and act like there busy. About the only positive is Ron is the fertilizer department, very knowledgeable and will always help you the best he can.

Full service shop with competitive pricing. Can take awhile if you need service, parts, and new product as you have to wait at 3 counters to get help. Pricing is always competitive, quality work, and quick parts even if not in stock. Only negative is bankers hours.

This store has potential. But unfortunately many things have no price tags. The employees dont know what things cost. The only way to get a price is to stand Inline with what you want. Than the employee looks up the product today was a rake, it took him 10 minutes and he still didnt have a price. Unfortunately I couldnt keep waiting. Than you have to wait in a diff line to pay. 10 months later still no price tags. No 0ne behind the counter to get products from. Than they dont know what it costs. This is unbelievable

Store is very nice and well laid out. Customer service is always slow and it takes days to get most parts. Not to mention that they are usually three times the cost or more than most place.Would not recommend this place. I’ve use them a few times in the past and will try to avoid if necessary.

Just bought a pressure washer here and everyone was super helpful. From the sales guy, to the folks putting the unit together in 20 minutes. Glad to know theyve got a store in my town. I agree that their hours are not as convenient but other than that they Rock.

Service department has minimal will and knowledge to explain what is wrong with your machine.Bottom line. If you know what you want and need come here.If your looking for help avoid this place. Knowledgeable sales person who want pushy at all. Courteous checkout person, and very commemorative prices. Better than Home Depot our any of the internet sites. My landscaper told me about them. He buys all of his equipment there and got the same price that he does. They do that as a matter of practice for all of their outside customers.

Worst experience ever ... When I purchased a month ago a blower from this location, I ask the sales guy how do i use the machine, what type of fuel should I fill in, and how to start. Been told to use a regular gas 89, but never mentioned that I need to mix gas with oil, repeat NEVER! Obviously the blower broke because of that. When I brought it back, the manager said that is not covered by the warranty. Your employee told me to use regular gas,(so he misinformed me) but never mention to mix with oil.Advice to the management : train your employee before hiring them.

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to OMAR for going above an beyond. Fantastic customer service! He figured out the part I needed for my Toro mower and had it waiting for me when I got there! I tried to install it and couldnt find a second screw under the machine so he referred me to the #1 service guy DERRICK. Derrick looked up my model and was able to tell me EXACTLY where it was! It was covered with grass of course! The cable traction part worked better than the original one. Thanks for all the help from a great team of employees!! Definitely coming back for future parts!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE. This place might sell good equipment but their service is TERRIBLE. Last year, my riding mower didnt start well so I sent it there. It came back with the same problem and came back with two more problems that werent there. The oil leaked and the belt came back loose. I went to Interstate Batteries and got a new battery this year and voila it started just fine. Sent the mower back to Russo and they put a brand new battery in it and charged me for it! When it came back this time (they didnt send it back on time and made my wife wait over 12 hours for it, delivered it later free of charge), it came back with a flat! I called their new manager SEAN and he sounded like he would help me out (he said he was sent in by headquarters because of numerous servicing department issues). Well, I was told today that I not only have to pay normal repair bill for the flat but they wouldnt refund me for the unnecessary battery they put in. Even when I offered to produce the receipt from just two months ago.Avoid this place for service and save yourself of any headaches (heartaches too)!

It has been an absolute joy working with Russo Power Equipment in Naperville. They are professional, friendly, and very reliable. The first time I went in to check out some commercial lawn equipment, a wonderful man named Dave Prinzi took over an hour with me to teach me about these machines, their pros and cons, etc. This man knows his stuff, plus he was and is a joy to work with. If you are ever in the market for lawn equipment but need some guidance, go to Russos and talk to Dave! If you want to know everything there is to know about fertilizing, ask for Ron. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and another wonderful man. This place knows what they are doing. Happy customer service, knowledgeable, fair on pricing, and quick to reply. What more could one ask for? I will be returning here for all my lawn and landscaping needs.

I watched 2 gentlemen come in and ask for a part for their mower, this store didnt have it in stock and the lady helping them said they couldnt ship it to the store or anything like that. Once the 2 men left she began insulting them and even calling the other location to insult them to that staff.On top of this I was given the wrong part that caused more damage to the part I was repairing.The customer service here is bad, and I wont be returning.

I have no issues buying equipment here or getting warranty service, but I have stopped purchasing parts. They never have what I need in stock, even if its something like a bar and chain for a saw they currently sell that even Home Depot carries. Have had too many problems with phone orders as well.

Decent prices, good variety. The staff hide behind their counter alot and wont often walk out on the floor to assist customers. The staff were running lawn mowers and moving them about the store with the doors closed all while I was standing at the counter being assisted by a gentlemen who felt compelled to explain to me all the reasons farming will fail to yield profits. Normally I enjoy shopping for items they sell, however, based on the service and experience I received it didnt feel great to spend my money here. Unfortunately they are the closet stihl and bcs supplier. Lastly, they waste paper by printing orders just so you can walk it to the register so they can print another sheet of paper for your reciept. Recently, I gave Russo another chance by ordering a small part from them on August 2nd for my bcs tractor. I was told 3 to 5 business days for shipping and that I would recieve a call when the part came in. I called them again about a week after I ordered the part to be put on hold for 10 minutes then their phone system hangs up on callers so I had to call again and tell them not to put me on hold so I could just find out where my part was. This representative told me BCS parts usually take upwards of 8 days or more to arrive. Now, here I am 2 weeks later no call from russo, I ordered the part through a different BCS dealer 2 hours away and got the part before Russo already. I just dont understand how this place functions at all with the worst customer service Ive seen.
