The customer service you receive when shopping at this family-owned business is amazing! Every time we’ve been here, they are so knowledgeable and helpful in fitting our toddler and picking out the perfect shoes for him. You can tell that they enjoy their jobs and helping their customers. This is the only place we’ll buy our son’s shoes because we know they’ll fit perfectly every time.

I have never been disappointed with my expierence here. I had a 3pm appointment today. I was done and out the door by 3:15pm with Natives and gym shoes, for my 3.5 year old son. I love being able to go to family owned businesses, especially ones with amazing customer service! The last pair of shoes I bought him here was in May of last year--and they are still in great condition!

The service and expertise we experienced at this store is unlike any other! We bought shoes for our kids while visiting family (we are from Texas), and I have waited to return to buy new shoes for them again. I took my almost two year old to Gotskinds’ today and had the absolute best experience! David was so sweet with my daughter and patient with both of us. He measured her feet, helped us find the right fit, and was very knowledgeable and helpful! She was very hesitant and nervous at first, but she warmed up quickly and he was just wonderful with her. I kept putting off bringing her into a store due to covid, but I felt completely safe the entire time and am so glad we went! We will definitely be back again!

This is an old fashion shoe store. Best place for childrens shoes. Friendly staff and nice selection of shoes. Purchased shoes for my daughters. This place offered show size up to a womans 8.

The best place to buy kids shoes in the area. Very kind and attentive. They treat my 3 year old with respect and make shoe shopping an enjoyable experience. I wont go anywhere else. They also have a frequent buyer punch card for discounts!

Came recommended as a good shoe store to have my toddlers feet measured for proper shoes. Googled this business, checked hours and drove out to Naperville from New Lenox only to find door locked and a sign that says “by appointment only”. Called the number on the door and was told by the man that he was totally booked all day. What a joke! You might want to post this information on your website rather than having people surprised and frustrated after hauling it out there to learn you’re not available

Weve taken our kids here for the last couple of years now. Service and knowledge is amazing and theyll spend the time with you to make sure you get your kids into the right shoe. Both of our boys have fat little feet and weve had issues with many of the name brand shoes not fitting properly. Theyve always been able to provide us with several brands/models that fit their needs

My overall experience is good. So friendly stuff, play corner for kids. You just sit and they take a care about what you need. They are little pricey and I would love to see more models of shoes. But they deserve 5*

Great customer service, since Stride rite closed all stores in the area, we are Gotskinds customer. Better service and lot more choices and brands then other stores. Internet prices + professional staff, not easy find these days.

This place is a hidden gem lost in the chaotic convince world of online shopping. There are just some things when it comes to my twin 2 year olds that the internet can’t fix. Pat and his team have been fitting my twins since their were born and my entire family for 30 years now. Between the perfect fit the first time every time, quality shoes, and the great selection makes buying shoes so easy! Being that kids (at least at my kids age can’t tell me something is to small or tight) getting the right fit can be essential to helping them have a steady gait which is vital to reduce joint, muscle, and posture problems. Make the right choice and spend the time and the money taking them to a place that knows their stuff!

I bought a pair of shoes from Gotkins a little over a month ago for my two year old daughter. My experience was fabulous and the gentlemen that helped us took his time and really made sure that the shoes we bought were a perfect fit. However, a few weeks later, when my daughter would wear her shoes she would point to her shoes and try to take them off. I decided to take her back to Gotkins to have a professional look at them. I luckily got the same wonderful gentleman and I explained the situation and he immediately started looking at the shoes and checking my daughters foot size/width. He then got new shoes and he gave us a brand new pair of shoes (for free with no questions asked) because he believed there must have been defect in the shoes. I am only going to be shopping here from this point on!! Service and staff are fabulous!!
