Being a gun nut & military history buff, I have read a lot about the FN FALs & SCARs to the point where I had a dream I was trying to buy a SCAR, but couldnt find one (weird, I know) ... The next day I noticed Tactical Research Weapons sign while driving by, so decided to stop in to check place out. As I walked in, right in front of me was a brand new SCAR 20s (.308/7.62x51)) mounted on the wall!! 5 mins later I owned it!Dreams do come true!!!I also bought two 140 rd South African Militay battle packs dated 1981, but although 40 years old, ammo looks great and the price was good (aporox $1/rd) considering the ammo drought of past year. I cannot wait to get an optic & bipod and go to range!The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable so the transaction went smoothly & quickly. And to top things off, Tacticals owner threw in three twenty round magazines free of charge (which was extra nice because gun comes with only one ten round mag)!! Thank you!!!Great experience!!

The man behind the counter answered all my questions and concerns with an immediately obvious amount of passion and expertise and I’d like to extend my thanks for answering what I now know are juvenile questions.The selection was impressive and the assistance provided/resources recommended left me wishing this store was franchised in every Bass Prop shop so that I could more easily get such great service.Also one of the few places left that actually has 9mm AND 12 gauge buck shot so I will be returning to stock up surely.Will be happy to see this place succeed.

They also will service your firearms. I had my Ruger Mark 3 Deep Cleaned twice before, they used a Sonic Bath & I picked it up in Tip-Top Shape, Oiled & with everything correctly reinstalled. They have a variety of difficult to find in person AK Rifles. They build M14 Semiautomatic Rifles in house & will build you a rifle to your specifications! The best Local Gun Shop in Our area & I stand by my review 100% as a patron of this shop regularly! Great prices on ammunition & a variety of hard to find ammunition. Supplies for everything just about, cleaning, magazines, sights and Im certain they can find & order you anything you could ask them about for a decent fair price. Purchased a Sig Sauer 9 mm P365 SAS from Christian. Picked up my gun when Tommy was working. Have been in their store multiple times now and have learned a lot from their expertise. I would never go back. Hes way over price and he grabs your card without telling you the prices. Ill rather go and take my business elsewhere, specially charging me a box of 9mm for $45 is completely price gouging. GO ELSEWHERE!

Dont trust this owner for anything. Had him build a firearm, he used fake parts and parts for airsoft guns. Hes a real piece of work. Doesnt stand by any of his work.. comes off as an arrogant know it all....sad part is that I paid a good penny to have it built right.....

I ordered a concealed holster for my hand gun, because I was sold the wrong one. Its been over 2 months and still no holster. Kept getting told its in the mail, still no holster. Was told it came in, offered to come pick it up. Was told it was shipped. 1 week later, still no holster. Not even a follow up call to see if the issue was resolved. My concealed permit came in before the holster did.. Lol and they were both done the same day. Called today with no response. I will no longer do business with this establishment.

Response.You are both liars. Echo triggers and Franklin armory triggers are both perfectly legal. Dont tell what I wanted was illegal. Furthermore, if what I wanted was illegal, why didnt you call the cops or invite me in to get me hooked up. I wanted a binary trigger package from either one of these companies. I am not a criminal not do I want anything illegal. Any idiot can go online and buy one, especially in this state. The only reason I accepted this trigger is because Gary said why do you want one of them (echo/Franklin) this tac com does the same thing and its cheaper. At first glance, TRW is a great local gun shop. Unfortunately the staff care more about the company then the owner, who is rarely there. Ive purchased a few small firearms, referred friends and family as well. About a year ago I purchased a larger caliber firearm, one that was based on the owners knowledge and expertise, after I purchased it I find out the gun is defective and could seriously hurt or even kill someone. When I ask the owner to resolve the problem he completely turns his back and offers no resolution, refund or anything. For a guy who claims all this knowledge, gunsmithing capabilities and all his military credentials he either knew the issues with the firearm or hes a phony and truly knows very little. Sadly he didnt disclose the information about the firearm and he could not care less that it could harm someone. TRW, bad business ethics, cares nothing about doing the right thing, cares even less about his customers and is all about the money. Ill never purchase another firearm from TRW again and Ill make sure neither my friends or family will either. Too bad there isnt a negative star or I would give TRW that....

Avoid like the plague. on the 1st promised to have something ready by the 15th. Called on the 13th to see how coming and was told not started and wont be ready. Sorry, can come get it if I want. Deadline was stressed and no point in doing after. went for NO stars but doesnt let you do that.
