Very friendly and helpful. Prices are good and sometimes better than ordering something online. I recommend checking it out if you have a hobby or are looking for a new one. They have many options.

Service was absolutely terrible. My questions that were asked were responded rude and natty responses. Definitely not coming here every again. I advise you to find a better hobby store as this was unexpectable.

This business needs to post a sign indicating that customers who don’t share the management’s political views are not welcome. That may sound odd in a review of an art and hobby supply store. Let me explain.I was glad to find this locally-owned art and hobby supply store in Naples, but after two very different experiences, I will not be shopping there ever again. I prefer to spend my money at family-owned businesses and on my first visit I found the customer service and supplies selection to be quite good. Unfortunately when I returned to the store today, I waited to pay for my purchases, cash in hand, for several minutes. It became clear I was being intentionally ignored and was not welcome in the store. Nevertheless, I persisted, and eventually got someone to take my money.I was totally perplexed by this total about face in customer service from one visit to another. Then it dawned on me that I was wearing a “Power to the Polls” T-shirt since I had just come from the Naples Women’s March. I can only assume it was this clear evidence of my political beliefs that caused the staff at Family Hobby Center to snub me in this way. I will not be back.

I used to race slot cars next door 25-30 yrs ago and I still remember buying a Grasshopper from this place when I was a kid.. I walked in today with my 5yr old and it was like nothing changed with the same Family atmosphere and the local hobbyist standing at the counter chatting it up and buying their parts..We walked out of there with a new ARRMA RC Car and a bag of fresh popcorn and I couldnt be happier..Good Memories of this place and its nice to see a business like this still in Naples after all these years..

These people know what they are talking about and are friendly as well. Its important to be able to ask someone for advice. Try doing that from your online shop. If you dont buy local, then there is no more local. Its that simple.

This store is awesome! Great selection of stuff for acrylic painting. i normally go to Michaels, but wanted to see what they had. They have stuff i never have seen. Super sweet nice folks, iwill be back!

Pros: Family hobby has the most knowledgeable staff in the area. Thet also have the largest selection of parts in this region too. They fix electric and nitro R/C.Cons: needs better inventory management. I was missing items from a product I purchased and was told to contact the manufacturer. My glow plug starter went bad, and at least half of the batteries Ive bought have been complete duds.This is the best shop in the area. The staff is nice and I highly recommend Family Hobby. That being said, make sure to check your box before you purchase and stay away from batteries.

My sister and I get a gift card here for our dad each year at Christmas. When they come down during the winter months, he comes directly here to get model cars to make. This is a great store with friendly people and a large selection!

Great family owned hobby shop thats been around forever. If youve been to another store and couldnt get a knowledgeable answer head here. They seem to know it all and have just about everything. Im always surprised by the vast selection and knowledge of the products.
