Absolutely the best. Ive been using this service center since I moved to Naples almost 10 years ago and they have never let me down. The few times Ive had to use other service centers I was disappointed and regretted going anywhere else. (Went to the nearby Firestone in a pinch once and was treated like an annoyance.)I was impressed the very first time that I took my car here. The young man at the counter was courteous and empathetic when I refused all additional recommended work on my old car due to financial constraints. Pat has consistently provided great service and will almost always fit my car in for an oil change even if theyre booked solid. Reliable and friendly - exactly what a neighborhood service center should be.
Excellent service. Honest businessmen. Customer-focused. Very pleased how promptly Tuffy took our car in and resolved a recurring low tire pressure warning light. Invited us to return for an air fill-up and tire check at any time. Great service - thank you!
My car started acting up on the way to work. I knew Tuffy was right around the corner from my office so I pulled in with my service engine soon light blinking, hoping they could squeeze me in. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in good hands. Patrick made me feel at ease about diagnosing and repairing my car. There was no judgment when I told him I was driving my 2006 Xterra till it died. Today was not that day though, as he repaired my car in a couple of hours and charged a fair price for replacing a coil pack. I never feel like I’m being ripped off at Tuffy, as I’ve been to the Fort Myers store on Daniel’s parkway also. The thing that set this visit apart from other repair shops was definitely Patrick; he’s personable and prompt. Thanks Patrick and Tuffy for the excellent service I received today!
I have been going to this Tuffy location for years everyone here is always so professional. When I called today and spoke with Anthony he was very personable and recognized that I use their services often he got me in this afternoon for a drop off and I was planning on it being a long period of time before my car would be ready and they had it ready within 30 minutes! I never have to worry about any personal belongings in my car when it is left at Tuffy all the employees are wonderful and honest And they really do you have the best deals in town!
Definitely my go to shop from now on. Quick, efficient and friendly. Everyone I met was professional and helpful!
My Toyota needed engine repair ASAP, I called TUFFY and they got me in right away. GREAT service and reasonable fees. I trust TUFFY and will return for all my car repairs in the future.
The manager on duty 8/19/21’ was increasingly rude on my visit. I normally go to the Toyota dealership where you pull in to the shop and someone comes out and greets you. I went inside the office and the first thing the old man said was “ first of all don’t ever pull in that spot“ I said first of all I don’t know how your business operates I’m just doing what I am used to. He seemed like he was getting swamped with phone calls I told him forget about it and stormed out. Definitely will never return, and definitely will never recommend and should anyone ask of a auto shop I will be sure to tell them exclusively to not go to this location. No need for me to get into a verbal altercation with somebody with such poor service. Replacement is much needed in this location in Vanderbilt.
I live in New Jersey and have a home in Naples. I have been bringing my cars here for years. They are very efficient and reliable. Prices for service is very fair.
First time using tuffy and not disappointed at all. Its so easy for.people to give a bad review but not in my case. Anthony and Pat were honest and as customers what more can we ask for. All the repairs were done quickly, reasonable, and as promised. I will highly recommend Tuffys. Thanks for a great job.
Their main technician, Randy, has completely ruined my car. I brought it in for a knocking sound under my hood. They said Randy couldnt find the problem, so I told them I would take it to the dealer. I receive my keys back to find my floor mats and carpet are destroyed from oil stains and all kinds of dirt and debree. I start my car to drive away and my car starts violently shaking when I put it into Drive. I didnt make it 10 feet before I had to stop and call a tow truck. Pat is the manager and he allows this type of behavior from Randy. I have heard many other stories about Randy since and none of them are positive.
Took my car in for an oil change at this location. When I was called to come get my car the window was down and the car was parked in the front of the front door. When walking up to the car I did not notice that the window was down. I went into the location and it started to downpour. My car was completely soaked. They made a half attempt to clean the car with dirty towels covered in oil...When I drove my car back to work I noticed a faint oil smell and my engine sounded a little different. Didnt think much of it until a few days later when my car started to smoke. I looked under the hood and the oil cap was missing. Oil was splattered all over the engine block and under hood insulation. I am currently at the location and we shall see what happens. I will be sure to write a follow-up review based on what happens today.
Manager on duty on 5/3/21 was very rude to me. Seems like he was ready to fight as soon as I said hello. I asked to have an oil change and he spoke to me in a very demeaning manner and said there was nothing available until Friday. I think Your going to lose customers by having this manager on staff. I used to bring my car and my wife’s car for service at this location on Vanderbilt Beach road but I will no longer bring my cars here for service as long as this guy is around. The manager on staff should know that he works in Naples, not New York. Even in New York no one would put up with his nonsense! I also sent an email to them and no response.
Manager was pleasant and prompt, left this review because I saw someone said otherwise, I did not have the same experience.
They are crooks. Did a bunch of add ons I never asked for. $250 for a tire. Stay away from these crooks
These guys are on there game. They fixed us up very fast and moved us in between other jobs. Highly recommend them. Very professional
They took advantage of my situation. Instead of a tire repair I had to purchase a new tire for over $200. They did not offer any alternatives.
Fair prices and quick
So i had a flat tire (front right) with the nail in the middle of the tire, i brought it in and ask the front desk man if they can get it done in 30 mins (i was on lunch break, had to go back to work before the break ended), he said yes then i gave him the key. I could see through the door that they only had my car and another that they were working on. They left my car there for a good 15-20 mins before started working on it. I waited for 30 mins then asked if my car is getting done soon, the guy (the mechanic) answered when its done you will see it parked in front (sort of gave attitude but i didnt mind since he doesnt know and i guessed the front desk guy didnt let him know). After another 15 mins, the front desk person came and said its done. I was glad since i was late to get back to work, i hurried to pay and the mechanic came in n threw the key fob on the desk and said “there, its done with 2 mins late” to my face. At that point i still didnt mind, i paid $35 and ran to my car. I didnt check it, i only looked at the tire from the back n saw it not flat anymore, so i though it was good since i was in a rush.4 days later when i finally thought about taking a look at the tire, i saw there was 2 bulges on that tire, and my rim was all scratches up. My tires are only 3 years old. I bought the car new, n mostly drove in town, so the wear n tear was not much. I called the shop and a man (i assume it was the same front desk person) said to bring it it so he can take a look. I brought the car in and he said it had nothing to do with the tire patch job, and made excuses for the bulge on my tire. I didnt like it but then i let that go and asked what about my rim, and what he was gonna do about it. He said he wasnt gonna do anything. I can ignore the tire, since it could be that my tire is worn out, but the way they scratched my rim and wont do anything is unacceptable. If they cant even handle something as simple as a tire patch, i dont think they can do anything properly. How can a business like this exist? They took customers money and did a lousy job, messed up my car but wouldnt take responsibility for what they had done. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & IRRESPONSIBLE & UNRELIABLE. Shop like this shouldnt be supported. I will never come back here again, and will never recommend anybody to use their service. Anyone that think of coming here should think twice.I’d give 0 star if i can.***DONT COME TO Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center***
Pat is great ! Very helpful, friendly. I highly recommend Tuffy’s .
Very helpful. Super nice guys. Fixed my brake lights immediately
Anthony Crespo provided top notch customer service and ensured that my cooling fan job wood be done right and by days end. Anthony deserves corporate recognition!!!
Pat is great. Weeks ago my tire light went on so I went to Tuffy on Vanderbilt in Naples and he checked and filled the tires complimentary
Friendly service, Does great job on my car . Will recommend to friends and family . They are trustworthy mechanics.
Very expensive for 1 tire $199.00 1tire for a 2003 Honda accord!! ????? What was he thinking???
I came in with a unknown problem with my car, spoke with pat and within literally 5min I was out and had my problem fixed. Pat (the manager) is extremely competent in his field. FORD WAS GONNA CHARGE ME $165 JUST TO TALK TO DIAGNOSE AND PAT DID IT FOR FREE IN MINUTES. I will ONLY come here from now on.
Pat & Anthony are the best. Feel they are very honest and take care of their customers.
Great service professional service helpful staff
The manager Patrick made a New Years Eve miracle! I had a flat tire that couldn’t be repaired. I had taken it to another tire place first and they said they couldn’t do anything about it until Thursday. When I took it to Tuffy, Patrick was able to get new tires and get my car ready that day! So grateful for the amazing costumer service! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!!
My whole family goes to tuffy for whatever we need. Pat is incredible, always willing to help when we need it and very friendly and welcoming. Could not recommend tuffy enough!!
I’ve only had excellent service from Pat at Tuffy. I’ve sent my friends, who are from NC and they were pleased with the friendliness and the price. They tell you everything up front so you can make an informed decision. I’m a repeat customer and I see many repeat customers when I go there.
Great & Friendly & Fast !!
Great great serviceI was surprised
Very polite staff, quick oil changes.
My daughters tire was extremely low and we were in dire need to get it looked at because it was NYE and we couldnt have her without her car or in harms way with a flat tire. Without an appointment, we arrived at Tuffy and Pat, Store manager, was there to greet us. He had no availability but was willing to get my daughters tire looked at and fixed if we could leave the vehicle. We were so grateful for his professionalism and kindness to even look at it considering it was a busy day and New Years Eve with hours altered for the holiday. Its local businesses like this one with genuine, good-hearted professionals who make the difference. Pat called us within 2-3 hours and we were on our merry way. Kudos to Pat and his outstanding staff! Exceptional Customer Service!
These guys did a quick license plate light bulb change for me and did it as a courtesy. I am very pleased with their service.
The manager at this location is fantastic, the price for a tire patch was under $25 after tax, and the location took my job on a Monday with no appointment and did it within 2 hours. Whats not to like? Thanks again Tuffy!
I have had services performed on several vehicles at Tuffy’s over the past three years. Today I was in a tough jam with a flat tire. I spoke with Anthony and he got my car right in. The service was phenomenal as always but today was different. They went above and beyond to help me and Anthony’s kindness and professionalism was outstanding. You’ve earned my trust and always my business. Thank you so much!!!!! I highly recommend Tuffy’s on Vanderbilt Beach Rd!
Pat and team are the best!
Took my new (to me) car in for its first oil change here. My first time doing business with Tuffys. The guy at the counter was really nice and handled me and everyone else who walked in that day with respect, especially the women (Im always on the lookout for things like that). A great experience. I will be back.
Absolutely love working with Pat. Hes very informative and professional.
Pat was very helpful. Helped me get my oil changed and AC and coolant flushed out. He also saved me from changing my transmission fluid, and educated me why I didnt need it. Honest people. They are human, so dont worry about the negative comments.
Pat runs a top notch operation. Take four cars to them - honest, quality work, fair prices and great customer service. They have earned my trust and loyalty.
This Tuffy location ran by Pat the manager and his awesome team always exceeds my expectations. They are always ready to serve you and there is NO PRESSURE to do other work that you are not wanting to do at the time. I have had oil changes done and tires done and recently a battery replaced. They run efficiently and professionally and seem to enjoy what they do. Thank you Pat for such a breath of fresh air when it comes to finding car care you can trust and rely on that is pleasurable.Just came back from another visit. Pat and Paul delivered outstanding customer service and I am very pleased!Visited today 5-29-18 And Pat and his team continue to exceed my expectations. I was in and out for an oil change and they checked for leak I was concerned about. They could have easily lied tried to get me to pay for something but they are honest guys with integrity and thats what keeps me coming back!!!! I only go to Pat now.
If I could give negative stars I would. My wife just went there to get her oil changed and a tire rotation. They stole money out of her car. So make sure if you go here that you don’t leave anything in your car!
Fantastic customer service. Both the manager, Patrick, and one of his associates, Doug, were extremely helpful. Not only did they give me fair pricing and an understanding of what I needed done to my car (08 Equinox), but they were able to accommodate me and have my car fixed within a day. Fantastic customer service, extremely honest, and definitely went above and beyond in customer service. I would highly recommend this particular location for your auto needs. Thank you!
This place is a reason why people dont truat mechanics and their shops. Never again!!!
Replaced my tie rod ends, car was tracking true, but strong wheel was off center. Went in for alignment and front tire rotation only. Car was returned with all four tires rotated, steering wheel still off center and pulling to the right.
I was very pleased with the service and the wait time was minimal. I had not been in in a few years, but I was amazed they had me in the computer and took good care of me. They fixed a flat for me in quick time so I owe them a set of tires when the time comes! Thanks for the help!
I needed my flat tire repaired. I called mid day to make an appointment & the manager said that for a flat repair I didn’t need an appointment, and I should just stop in. So I went there after work, which was 30 minutes out of my way. I got there at 530 and they told me they don’t have time to help me. I called & complained to the manager & he said that’s how they run their business. DEFINITELY GO BY THE REVIEWS & GO ELSEWHERE. They actually lost out on a full set of tires.
Always professional and honest. The only place I take me car.
Great service. Pat took care of my car with little waiting time and made sure I understood what my car needed and why. Second time Ive had my car serviced at this location. Both times a positive experience.
Great service and friendly and helpful staff
Great shop. The do quick work and arent in the habit of trying to pull one over on you. Fair prices and knowledgeable staff are the reason I trust them with my car Everytime.
Patrick at Tuffy Tire is not only a great manager and provider of good customer service, he’s also HONEST! Highly recommend this tire shop over any and all of the larger chain big business shops like Firestone or Tires plus where you are just a dollar amount and if they get their way, a large dollar amount. Patrick and his team patched my “not safe to patch” according to firestone back right tire in 20 minutes for $30.00 and change. Their competitors wanted me to purchase a brand new tire and said they didn’t feel comfortable patching. It’s a brand new tire and the leak was small and slow, by definition what a patch is for. Anyway Happy New Year Tuffy Tire, hope it’s as good as your customer service which is excellent!
Walk in at 4pm on a Saturday as I noticed I have something in my tire and it’s almost flat. The counter guy says to me THREE times during our conversation... “so you decided to walk in at 4pm on a Saturday” with an attitude...then proceeds to tell his coworker how he has important dinner plans ... he tells me it will take 30 minutes and I know they close at 5. So aside from providing an attitude instead of good customer service you basically tell me you have plenty of time to fix my tire before you close but still find it necessary to chastise me for coming in an hour before closing? I’m just concerned for my safety so I chose a place close to me; I won’t ever go back and I recommend finding another company if you like to be treated with respect. Very sad that employees are allowed to speak to customers this way; if you don’t like your job or the hours you work... go find something else!
Second time I bring my vehicle for service/repairs and will continue to do so. Both times the repairs were done to perfection. For as long as Pat is the store manager I will not hesitate to bring my vehicle to this place. He is professional, friendly and honest. Last time he had Mike work on my truck and frankly you cant go wrong if he does the repairs. I lack the words to express my level of satisfaction.Thank you Pat and Mike. Its refreshing that there is people who still care to be honest.
After dropping off my sons car for engine light on & driving a little funny, they originally told me it needed all new spark plugs and coils and it would be $470 - to which I agreed. They called me back 4 hours later with GOOD NEWS (Ive never heard of such a thing from an auto mechanic!). Turns out once they got in there they saw that one of the coils had come unattached - so they attached it back and all is well! No work needs to be done! No charge other than the oil change I asked for! Thank you, Tuffy, for your honesty. Well be back.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.Heres a summary of my experience:1. They told me the before tax price when I asked how much it would be. Not a deal breaker, but annoying. If I expect to pay $29.99 and then you ring me up almost $10 more, Im annoyed.2. I went for an oil change. I have an old car and closing the hood is a little tricky. Rather than asking me how to fully open and close it, or telling me before I drive off that the hood wouldnt fully close, they let me drive off. On my way back, the hood gradually opens. Wont fully open, wont fully close. I have to drive all the way back. Then, I explain the situation. I brought my car in with a fully closed hood, and Id like it back with a fully closed hood. Its not rocket science.3. They are incredibly rude and condescending. As described above, this is not a situation to argue about, as the manager kindly reminded me, yet he seemed to be hell-bent on doing so. I wasnt there to argue with them, I was there for them to finish what they started.4. I also asked them to read out my check engine light. They did, it was an evap code, like I expected, but they didnt delete it out. Have to get that done at another place.5. I waited 2h for my oil change, because, I guess, the guys didnt want to go out in the rain to get my car. There was one other customer, so that couldnt have possibly been the problem. They do not care about your time AT ALL.Save yourself a headache, go to the Tuffy franchise in Naples. Theyre super nice and competent, and I made the big mistake of going to this place instead.
6/30/08 Advertised $9.99 Oil Change. I went in and the surly manager told me that it would be at least an hour before they could get to my oil change. When I questioned the hour wait, he rudely told me to go to the Quick Oil Change shop down the street. VERY POOR ATTITUDE, NOT NICE PEOPLE!!I later went to one of the Rick Johnson Auto Centers (there are 6 in the Naples area). Very nice people and with the $8 rebate offer, it should cost less than Tuffys advertised $9.99. As it turned out, the $8 rebate is actually a $8 coupon good for the next oil change. So their oil change actually cost $19.92.11/21/08 I went back to Tuffy and this time they were very nice, even got me out in 45 minutes. After the misc. additions the $9.99 oil change actually cost $26.24. AN INCREASE OF 88% IN ONE YEAR, because one year ago it was $13.91 (9/18/07).
Great service! Highly recommend.Manager was extremely helpful and honest. Took great care of our mini van. If you have automotive needs this is the place to go.
DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for an oil change and tire rotation 4 months ago.1. THEY DIDNT ROTATE MY TIRES, CHARGED ME ANYWAY. My wheels have keyed lug nuts, which I forgot about until replacing my brakes and the keyed socket was not with me when I went in for my rotation. Rotated my tires today and the wear clearly indicates that they have never been rotated. I was going to let this one go, it cost me some cash but I didnt care enough to fight it. Until point 2.2. CUT OUT UNDERCARRIAGE COVER. I didnt notice until my car was up on a lift today. The bolts holding it on werent catching properly and they were spinning. Instead of taking a few extra minutes to remove the cover properly, they cut out about 2 square feet of the plastic.3. TRIED TO UP SELL ITEMS I DO NOT NEED. They told me I needed an air filter and that my belt was starting to crack. 4 months later my air filter is still fairly clean and my regular mechanic tells me I have at least 40k miles left on this belt.Made sure to submit this because I want to make sure that anyone on the fence about going here for a service seriously considers going elsewhere.I will be filing a formal complaint and pursue reimbursement.
Perfect price for a perfect fix. Awesome customer service as well. Thank you Ernesto
I do not recommend. I went to get my car serviced. They didnt care about me or my vehicle. My engine light was on, they told me that I have to go get it checked out and didnt even help with it. They rotated my tires, when I left, my car was loud and shaking. I went back and told them, they told me they were too busy to rotate them back and said that the tires were shaking because my tires were bad. Why didnt they tell me my tires were bad when I was there? I will not be going back with that kind of service.
We took my daughter car to Pat @Tuffy’s on Vanderbilt to have front passenger side wheel hub replaced an new tire after having to deal with a poor attitude service manager of the competition. These guys are great honest friendly and extremely professional. They did an outstanding job within hours he kept us informed and cost was just as he quoted. I recommend Pat and the crew at Tuffy’s any day. Thank you for the great service
Took my own 4 tires and rims in to get mounted and balanced and didn’t ask any questions like other places do. Just did the job I asked, I paid and walked out. Will definitely be taking all my tires here from now on.
I will always go to Pat and Paul for tires and out of warranty service on all of my vehicles. They have always been extremely fair, knowledgable and fast. It is nice having a good shop run by people that I trust.
My husband and I took our vehicles to Tuffy Tire & Auto Service on Vanderbilt Beach Road in June 2014. We were unsure what kind of service we would receive after reading the online reviews for this location, however, our Mustang was having major issues so we could not drive it too far. The service we received was wonderful! Perry, the store manager, took our Ford Mustang and Dodge SUV right in for repair and did a full evaluation to determine the problems. Once the evaluation was complete, Perry brought us out to our vehicles and explained everything in detail with his service technicians. We were provided with options for fixing our cars with no pressure to make the repairs right away. Perry explained that he had recently taken over management of this location and was making a huge effort to turn the shop around. Based on our experience, he is doing a wonderful job. We will definitely continue to use the services at this Tuffy location.
I went in today to get my rear brake light fixed. I barely sat down and he said it was finished. Amazing customer service! Thank you so much!!
Pat at tuffy tire and auto is absolutely fabulous! He always makes sure that when he works on a car, the job is done and done right the first time. He gets quite busy in season especially, but always finds time for his clients. This is not the usual auto service center, which would normally charge you for a ton of stuff that you dont really need done, but instead pat at tuffy makes you feel like family. And he always remembers you, and takes the time to explain everything until you understand it, and never overcharges you. He gets work done quickly, too. It may be a little out of the way for some, but it is always well worth the drive out there just to have someone actually listen to you and what you need for your car. Im a repeat customer and would never take my new car anywhere else.
I was buying a used car Honda in January and went to them to do a check up to see if I should buy the car. They said it is good to buy. Now in September we found out the car is very rusted and the fuel tank is leaking. I am really regretful to buy this car because I have to buy a new car and this car is a total waste. When I went to them, I paid them to get a professional advice but they didn’t tell me. I will not recommend it.
Pat and his team were wonderful. I had an air conditioning issue that I thought was going to cost me. Pat and his team found that it only needed a small piece that had already been ordered and I should be on my way in 15 minutes, and I was with a very small bill. I found my go to mechanic!!
Hello,my friend bought me a car yesterday (Honda Civic 2009) and he was buying it from a private seller and wanted to make sure that the car was fine so he brought it to Tuffy Naples. And I just wanted to say thank you! The service was great and my car is completely fine (: Thank you for the GREAT inspection.
The old Cadillac idled rough, hesitated and died out at stop sign. I believed a faulty O2 sensor. But your good mechanic re-adjusted the MAP sensor and voila: it run good now.Thank you very much for your service. Recommended.
Wonderful. Patrick and Douglas are absolutely amazing. They take care of you like your part of the family. They are the best. Love those guys. 😀
I dont even want to give these swindling nincumpoops 1 star. If you need work done do not go here! I had an engine replaced with them Last winter. They did a terrible job, have had to go to multiple mechanics to fix their mistakes. I also dont trust how they billed me, but thats my mistake for not asking to see the parts they supposedly replaced. *beware
Guys are worth every penny. Even tightened my car hitch for free!!! Thanks Again
Good, honest guys here. I would recommend. Minus 1 star for time needed to complete job.
I called ahead and was told they could fit me in -- and they did. I asked for a tire rotation along w/ oil change and air filter changes. After checking the tires I was told the wear pattern on the tires was appropriate for an imminent long trip I have planned. Saved a few $$!
They told me the fuel lines they ordered would be in on Friday. So I called to confirm and they told me they were, so I drove all the way out there Saturday morning, turns out no they werent actually there. So I wasted $60 worth of gas. They said to come back Monday, turns out still not there yet. They said to try Tuesday and so far all day they have been extremely unhelpful. For the last four hours theyve been giving me maybes and I dont knows. I would give this a zero if that were possible. Because honestly, this is f****** atrocious.
Great service!
Super friendly and honest. So happy i found these guys, no more getting screwed over by other mechanic shops. My go-to for all my vehicle needs :-)
Been here 10 min and so far extremely rude. We will see how there work is compared to their attitude. Too expensive for the work they did. Called around after and found out they are about 200 bucks more than others
On 12/18/2015 Went to Tuffys for simple service on my car. I asked them to perform an oil change and rotate and balance 4 tires. They completed the service in about an hour and charged a fair price. A day later I decided to check the oil level just to be sure and discovered oil spilled on the top of my engine cover (which had spread and made quite a mess) which they should have wiped up before they finished with the car. The oil level was good but then I noticed that the oil filter (which is in plain view on this car) look not to have been changed. I could not see the brand to be sure so I went to the local auto parts store and bought a new filter and one quart of oil ($14.61). I removed the suspect oil filter and replaced it with the one I bought and indeed they had not bothered to change the oil filter (Tuffy did charge me for the filter). While doing this I noticed that there were oil droplets all over the bottom of the frame rails which I wiped off. I took the old filter and went back to the shop and spoke with Greg the Manager. He agreed that the filter had not been changed and made no excuses. I asked him how I could ever come back for more service. He said that he would not blame me and apologized. I have been to a number of franchised shops in Naples and have found Tuffys to be no exception. Too bad.
Too busy to do oil change when i said i had coupon
Pat was just great. Minimum time spent and maximum service received. Definitely the go to place in the Vandy/951 area.
Unreliable quality of repairs. Differential seal had to be changed 4 times. Great guys, but some jobs are out of their league.
Both Greg and Mark were very helpful with assisting my son with his car repairs while he was in the Naples area. Highly recommend for all your car repairs and vehicle service needs.
These guys are really the best. When you make an appointment, its that time on the dot. Not 2ish but 2:00. They were quick, friendly, and professional. Thank you so much!!
Oil change. They said someone else cross threaded a tire stud that broke when changing tires. No call just made the change and charged me $25 in labor for a $17.99 oil change coupon for $67 out the door. Never going back. They are barely better than the Goodyear in that plaza. Friendly a ripoff
I use Tuffy at Vanderbilt Beach Rd exclusively for my Mustangs maintenance. The service men explain what it needs and why. I started using them in 2009 when my car had 69,000 miles on it. Today it has 111,000 miles and still runs like new. Atiba and the mechanics up there know my car as well as I do. Since I take my car only there for maintenance, my family members also use this Tuffy location. I use the synthetic oil and for a car 11 years old, it sure beats a car payment! My last visit there was to check on why my car chugged a little as it started. The battery was the problem and it was still under warranty! Thanks Tuffy!
Very poor customer service and inaccurate troubleshooting. It is all about selling and making money. I took my Toyota Venza with a power issues. They sold me a new battery and I asked about the arlternator being defective multiple times. Three weeks later took the car once more with the same issue after paying $200+. Now they said, I was right, alternator needs to be replaced for $820. No way I would pay that amount. Just found a great mechanic who took care of it for $300. I will never come back to Tuffy.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!I went in for a rather simple repair then it went south quick. They ended up costing me another $500 because they did not do the repair properly. When I told them of the issue they in turn told me it was another problem, quoted me a price of $400 to do the repair. I did it myself for under $250. The problem was still there after I did the repair. They were not interested nor does it seem that they stand behind their work. I brought my car to Jap Tech and was told that whoever did this work did not put it back together correctly so the whole unit had to be replaced.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
The manager Pat is great to work with and Tuffys always completes the work as expected. I will continue to come here.
Friendly staff and they have taken me as a walk-in multiple times although Im sure they prefer appointments.
Not sell crew have good customer service
I took my F250 in for an alignment and a set of tires (I supplied.) I was told that the truck needed upper and lower ball joints on the driver side and a new set of front shocks at a total of $1100 to do the alignment. I reset an appointment for the upcoming friday morning and had it dropped off. The night before trying to be frugle and a small business owner, I replaced both the upper and lower ball joints as well as shocks as Tuffy stated. Late Friday Afternoon Tuffy informed me I now additionally needed two new tie rods to complete the alignment but still put the new tires on with a bad alignment. I picked up my truck and drove down to Collier Goodyear on 951 and dropped the truck off because it was about an hour till closing. Goodyear informed me that there was nothing wrong with the trucks tie rods and had the whole alignment completed in under an hour at a lower price then Tuffy. Goodyear has earned a customer from here on out from treating me fairly.
Waaaaay to expensive
Not happy with this location. Done right, period their slogan does not apply here in my opinion. I went to get a simple tire repair- after my tire repair my TPS tire pressure sensor did not work. Strangely enough, literally hours before I went to get my tire fixed I inflated my tire and the TPS light went away. When I had my tire repaired at their shop the light came on and would not go off. The shop told me that it is the battery of the TPS sensor. It is just odd to me that the battery would go out the same moment they repair my tire. To add to my suspicion that this shop has some concerns is the fact that when I returned to get my car repaired they missed their commitment 2 times... never calling me or effectively communicating with me on the status either time, no regard to my time. Also first I was told that the sensor would be about $80, then it turned to be $150. I did not have them complete the repair. They also ordered the wrong sensor 2 times. Rather get upset I will chose to take my business somewhere else... disappointed
Have used them numerous times for oil changes and tire rotations. Have never had a bad experience and would recommend them over using a dealer
I was towed in with a bad altinator yo Tuffys on Vanderbuilt and think I was extremely overcharged for it. They charged me $750.00 Eighty three for the labor which was great. Then they killed me on the price of the part which was $600.00. I called the auto parts store that was right down the block and probably the store that they get it from and I was told a New Altinator for my vehical was $203.00. Quick math tells u how bad I was gouged there and wouldnt reccomend it to anyoneI was talking with the manager that afternoon and he said those are there prices for parts. Of course hes charging 3x the price or 300 %.They lost my three cars bussiness.
