They dont make bars like this one often, and Im sad to hear that theyll be moving. Just close enough to the beach to where you can easily bounce to and from, but just far enough away to not bother anyone on the beach that may want a little quiet time. Great, reasonably priced drinks and a fun staff. Food if you need it plus fun bar games on hand as well as the occasional live music. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, it has to be one of the better beach side bars in the state.

Our server was great! Thanks for quickly bringing Lola a bowl of ice cold water and keeping the wifes beer flowing. Happy puppy & wife equals happy life (for me!)

Stopped in with my home buyer to grab a drink to discuss some of the condos we just viewed in Naples and Vanderbilt beach for sale. It doesnt look like much from outside but the atmosphere is great, the drinks are cold and the service was the best. We had such a good time we ended up staying for a while. Will definitely be back to visit again. If your near the area I recommend stopping by. Remember to always support small local business in Southwest Florida as well.

We stayed at the beach box cafe condo and it is absolutely best location for Vanderbilt Beach. Very nice people run the place a little bit understaffed as is the case with many companies right now. The place is in need of some maintenance. Unfortunately I dont believe it will be happening since we have found out that it will be demolished for a future highrise building. So sad to see such a nice building to be removed. Current owners put a lot of work into it. Condo amenities were absolutely awesome. If you have the chance to stay here I would suggest it but make sure you do it before next summer.

This place rocks. The live music was excellent, the staff was super cool. This is the right kind of super laid back spot to hang after some beach time.

Answered me about why 3 stars ...1- covid time: staff nobody have mask2- no alcohol4- no social distance3- many drunk people and nobody stop to sellAt night and without covid problems, I suppose is GREAT. Now is DANGEROUS. Only 5 photos,,, 2 mine. I stayed there.

Came here a while back about two months ago food was horrible! But today is a different day I am here now order some food they obviously change the chefs! the food is excellent great location excellent service as well!

Had breakfast here. Simple menu, everything was good. Location to the beach is great.

Location is good, but that’s about it. Waitress was so sad and terribly slow. I finally went up to the register 20 min after making my order and she was eating her own lunch. Asked about my order and she handed it to me. Cold, and flavorless Mahi Tacos. Probably better to just sit outside at this place and drink.

What a wonderful little gem. Unfortunately for us, we didnt stop in until our last day in Naples. We had the bang bang shrimp, which was absolutely amazing! We would have gone their daily if we wouldnt have waited until the last day. Highly recommend!!

Great beach bar and food place one block off beach on Vanderbilt. Coco Loco is my fav.. mojitos his fav.. Music 6pm to 9pm, Monday night they let #sunsetfireflow perform in parking lot.. this is a must if youre in the area!

Have not been here in years and finally went back. My friends were very happy we stopped in! They werent too busy so we were able to find a seat at the bar. We had wings and fish tacos. They were so good we didnt have time to take pictures! The bartender was really nice too. We had a very indecisive friend with us and the bartender was patient and offering suggestions! Love the improvements! Cant wait to get back there!

May 26th tiny female bartender was rude....I asked about music and was told to go somewhere else if we want to hear music . Its 8:30....Update : I was drinking when I posted this so she may not have been as rude as I remembered even though the customer next to me also made a comment on rudeness of bartender.And Atumum, I would like to hear the audio if you could please share.

Great environment, came across this while looking for a beach bar in Naples. There is a nice little tiki bar just up the beach at the Ritz Carlton as well. Good location, great service and people!

Great little bar/cafe a block from the beach. It has a very laid back atmosphere and seating both inside and out. They have a variety of fresh food/salads or warm sandwiches. There are options that would accommodate gluten/dairy free individuals. They also sell some local art hanging on the walls. You can play

Cuban quesadilla and chicken tenders were great. Coke was well carbonated. Cant recommend the empanadas, the flavor combination was weird. But otherwise love the food and atmosphere. About $10 per person for food.

Cleanliness ok, Drinks ok, Food ok, Service ok, Prices ok.. Understaffed, Ordered chips with guac, salsa and queso.. disappointing, it was like chips from the bottom of the bag, mostly broken.. quesadilla was very oily.. Personally, I think the place needs a bar rescue or new mgmt

Fun environment with a lively crowd and reasonably priced food and drink. Limited menu but definitely has the beach bar vibe and feel. I would recommend stopping in for a drink, lunch or breakfast. Also check live music schedule as the live band was quite talented.

Visiting Naples for the first time and staying up at laplaya. Walked down many times for the unpretentious breakfasts and lunches. Food was on point, service too. Quick, good food. Highly recommend for either.

My husband & I stopped here after walking on the beach. I did not see 1 person wearing a mask which concerned me since we are in a pandemic. The place was fairly busy. I had one of their signature drinks which was very strong. I remember it had orange something, Sprite & something else.))This little bar/restaurant/ice cream place is on a corner & is right across the street from a nice, busy beach. They have live music nightly. Very fun & on a Thursday afternoon.

Great cafe located right off the beach. They have cold and hot made to order food - you can eat there or take it to the beach. Refreshing drinks, full bar and even Jello shots. Also, games outside in the sand are fun!

Only place on the strip to eat. The food is fresh, but you have to wait 30-45 min to get service here if you want lunch.The portions are large and you are paying for it since items are starting at $10 each.I would say this is a great bar but they need to work on getting faster food item on the menu and it Uber eats will have their lunch soon as people will start ordering delivery instead of waiting.Understaffed, not enough tables to sit and you are left to fend for yourself to get everything.

This place is great! Just across the street from the beach, the Beach Box Cafe has a wonderful atmosphere. Often showcasing live music, they provide great service and delicious food. The staff are always fun and friendly! I highly recommend paying a visit😄

Place is never opened when suppose to be. Coffee shop theres never anyone there. Still closed at 9:15 on the morning on Tuesday.im guessing since season is over. Noo e wants to take care of the locals.very expensive for 2 small nachos and fries 33.00. Meat was good nacho chips stale

I recently went to the beach box, and I was surprised on how friendly and organized the staff was. Moreover, the cafe is extremely dog friendly as the staff brings out fresh water for every dog. They also have multiple games patrons can play like a large Collect Four, Jenga, and bag toss. It is also a tourist stop for Naples pub crawls.

I really dig this spot. Seems like a great hangout any day of the week

Watch your bill! Place was ok but the bartender decided to add on a 40% tip to our credit card after we tipped him in cash and left. Took a few phone calls and trip back to the bar but in the end they did not resolve it after we showed them our receipt!

Have been going to the beach box since it opened. Unfortunately the last number of times it has not been a pleasant experience. The staff have been rude, have to wait for drinks, staff on their phones, and overall bad service. We even heard bartender make fun of customer.

This is one of only a handful of places in Naples that you can go and have the indoor outdoor coffee or bar beach feel. I love the totally casual atmosphere and beach menu. Whether you want coffee, drinks, or something to eat, this is the place to go and enjoy Florida.

This is one of my favorite places to take my 4 legged girl to! That also have an excellent coffee and smoothie bar!

We stopped here for a coffee in the morning during a bike ride, bartender was rude and told us no coffee in a bad manner but was serving alchol at 10am. They were not implementing wearing masks. Rude employees!!!

Fun little, shoes and shirt optional place right before you get to the amazing Vanderbilt Beach. Great place for drinks and they even have cornhole and large Jenga. 4 stars because I couldnt get a pina colada. Otherwise stop off here for a couple. 👍

Checked it out after walking the beach. Service was fairly slow for the handful of people that were there but wasnt a deal breaker.

Worst service ever. Bartenders openly criticize the customers and pick and choose who they serve first instead of by who was first. No wonder the place is dead.Response to management/owner:Misrepresentation would be saying something that was not accurate. One of your bartenders made a rude comment after I ordered Miami Vice. As he turned to make the drink he loudly and openly stated how happy he was that everyone was suddenly ordering that drink (very sarcastically). I assume his displeasure was because it does take a bit longer to make then pouring a beer. Not my problem. On another visit my friend and I were waiting for a few minutes to order a drink. As we waited a person walked next to us and was served immediately. The bartender and the person knew each other. I was told by another customer that locals often get served first. Since the establishment is dead, serving numbers aren’t necessary. This is just a case of bad service. Also I don’t need to run to a manager and complain. From your response I can tell nothing would’ve been done anyways. Hope everyone sees this review and makes up their own mind about your place. Thank you and have yourself an even better day.

Great service from David - guy had a lot of knowledge. Great live music when we wandered in as well. Close to the beach, heard they do coffee in the mornings too though we never made it over for that. Worth checking out. Food is phenomenal - good variety as well.

Fun place with great people. It’s a good beach bar with games and music. Drinks and food are not cheap. They did have a beer special for $3 and white claw for $6 but titos is $9. Standard I guess? Food is decent at best but it’s a good time and right next to the beach. Big jenga, big connect four, corn hole, and more! And it’s dog friendly!

Very cool place we were there in the evening. Its a smaller bar (prob can seat 40+ people) that has live music most nights, its kid and dog friendly. They even have dog bowls for water and free dog treats. Decent selection of beers, ice cream and food. Its right across the street from Vanderbilt Public Beach and is an open air type setting. If you are looking for a place to chill and have a few drinks after a day at the beach this is a good place...we really liked it!

I know Naples. This was WAS ok before. Today, however, it was a bad choice. Bad bad bad. There are so many food choices nearby, bring that instead. Trust me.Most important, drinks here are not going to make you happy. Both in the sense that the drinks are poorly made and are crazy expensive (even though they’ll use the cheapest liquors to make them). They frankly aren’t worth it. Get beer or wine at the convenience store behind this place instead (they also sell a delicious sandwich!).Bartender John is the one to avoid. He’s a heavyset guy that shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a bar unless it says snickers on it. He was both a bad drink mixer and overall distasteful person to be around.

Was originally concerned about the price, but was very pleasantly surprised that the food quality was fantastic. Try the steak or fish tacos, they are delicious. Even my kids french fries were awesome. Staff could be a little more attentive and friendlier, but overall was a good experience. Would recommend giving it a try.

Great little place to eat right off the beach. We’ve enjoyed countless nights here listening to the live music and enjoying the sounds of the ocean amongst the laughter of friends.

This is a cute little place right off of Vanderbilt beach. Food, drinks, and a little bit of everything for all of your beachy needs. Just wander up without shoes to get ice cream or a snack. Also, off to one side there was a full bar. Very convenient!!

Had some food and drinks with my fiance and some friends, place was packed but that makes the atmosphere even better. Chicken strips, fries, nachos, and wings were all great. Little pricey but thats to be expected given the location. I parked behind beach box in beach parking make sure you pay, its 5 dollars which you pay inside the square yellow building. There is other free parking depending how busy it is. We will be back again forsure.....

Sweet little hang out spot right off of the beach! They have an awesome outdoor bar filled with as many personalities as there are spirits. Hit the restaurant when youre hungry. Stay for the live music and you wont be sorry. Oh! And grab a couple of cones for the kids from their icecream shop as well. What more do you need?

I had the worst time in Naples until I came here. Naples is nothing like where I’m from in the Carolinas. We are used to beach bars and this comes very close. I loved it here and I planned to be back tomorrow. Even though I’ll never make the 10 hour trip back. I plan to stay at our beaches.

Our cashier taking our order was not very nice and looked and sounded very confused with our order. It took her at least five minutes to input into the computer and was saying everything out loud and then doubting herself. She finally got my wifes and my chicken wrap correct but I still was not confident about it. So, I asked her to repeat it back to me to confirm and she was appalled I asked her to do that but she did it with an attitude and followed it up with see Im an intelligent human being I was patient the whole time and never said anything insinuating that she was not smart. We sat and waited and our order came out wrong! They happily remade it for us and made it right and my wife and I just had a laugh. The drinks were great though! We will be back just not for food anymore.

I was here yesterday and my rum runners were 8 dollars. Today they are 11. When I asked why, and why my bill says tiny closer, not rum runner, the response was, thats our rum runner I said well it wasnt yesterday. Who wants to pay 11 dollars for one drink. BS. Dont waste your money! You cant even see the beach from the Beach Box .Its close .But not close enough for 11 dollars drinks and variable pricing depending on who is on shift.

Great after sunset Sunday night good band with open mike ... they had a gentleman play with band called Uncle Will great pipes original music and classic rock.

One of the best beach bars in the area. Great bartenders. Good food. Live music. Close to Vanderbilt beach, catch a sunset, go have a cocktail. You pick the order. I wish theyd carry some of the more local brews like Palm City, Riptide or maybe Point Ybel. Otherwise bitchin drinks, cold beer and interesting folks. Go there, and behave.
