Simply the best.A hidden gem in Naples! This coffee shop serves the best breakfast I have ever had in all my years of travel. And they do it consistently every day. The pancakes are like crepes and to die for. The bacon...super crisp, eggs are perfect and the staff are super friendly. Amazing breakfast for under $9.00.
Best little breakfast in Naples Florida! Kind, sweet and a step back in time. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Two scrambled eggs with American cheese on a toasted English muffin. IT WAS THE SIZE OF THE PLATE AND DELICIOUS. Also came with side of hash browns which were done to perfection. Then a sweet older white hair woman helped me check out. You can clearly see how well they all work together. Everyone in the coffee shop was smiling and happy. Something rare these days. Please go visit.
Thank you so much for 41 years of service. The staff is the best. I brought my son in today for his sixth birthday and they gave him a special pancake with a candle in some fruit. The whole restaurant turned the lights out and sang happy birthday to him. He left there saying today is the greatest day ever and he gave the pancakes in 11 out of 10. Thanks for your kindness and hope you have more successful years in the future.
I have some mixed feelings about the cove in coffee shop. First I have to say that to call yourself a coffee shop yet not have any fancy coffees like espresso or lattes, these days is a bit misleading. My companion was not interested in traditional American coffee, so this limitation necessitated a trip to Starbucks after our breakfast.My second complaint is associated with their payment policy. Like a dwindling number of small businesses, this establishment has a cash only policy. I think that they would be much better served raising their prices 4% and accepting credit cards. There was a small sign at the door which was easily missed, and it was a bit embarrassing and inconvenient to receive our bill after our meal and learn that they accept no plastic. Fortunately I do have cash with me, but it was in my car unfortunately it was not raining. Had either of these things not been the case, it could have been a much bigger deal.Now that Ive aired my grievances, I can say that the food was very good. I had their pancakes which resembled crepes more than traditional pancakes, and fell somewhere in the middle. Im not a huge fan of crepes but these were very good and I enjoyed them. They were thin, but full plate sized. I also had Patty sausage which had a nice spice to it, and my companion had eggs hash browns and bacon all of which were good.I was on the fence whether to give them three or four stars, since I believe the first two items I mentioned were significant. However the food won me over and they got the fourth star. If they were to add more interesting coffee choices and abandon their obsolete cash only policy, they would deserve five stars as an inexpensive breakfast joint.
Awesome service, great quality diner food. Simple, no crazy toppings or additions just great food at a great price. Nice to escape the pomp and circumstance of Downtown and kick back and enjoy a great cup of coffee, a hot breakfast and good friends.
Highly recommend having your breakfast here! We came here every day of our stay at the Cove. Everything was cooked right in front of us. Fresh ingredients and cooked exactly to the order. Staff are super friendly and the service is very quick. This place feels very homey. If we are back to Naples, this is the place we are having our breakfast at!

This is as good as it gets for breakfast. It is not fancy or flashy but food is awesome and the prices are not bad. It is a small place but I think that is where you find the best food. Worth the visit!!!

Breakfast at a good diner is probably my favorite dining experience. This place got every single thing right. A+. Perfect score. I was greeted and seated immediately on arrival. Service was prompt and super friendly, but not overbearing. The menu had a number of interesting choices but nothing unusual. This is typical breakfast diner food - bacon and eggs, pancakes, etc. The food came quickly and filled the plate. The huge scratch made pancake (rare these days) was perfect. The extra large eggs were cooked perfectly too, and the bacon was excellent and super crispy. Even the toast was great - lightly buttered and toasted to a nice color. Coffee was hot and excellent as well. Being from out of town, the best part of the breakfast for me was the fresh squeezed orange juice. Decor is casual and prices are reasonable. If I ever visit Naples again, Ill be back!
I’m unsure why this place is SO well reviewed; it’s like a small-town diner that your grandparents would frequent. Food was OK, ambiance is old-fashioned in a way that doesn’t necessary charm. Cheap prices, Maxwell House coffee. Really great service.
My wife and I had breakfast here on 3 days in January 2020 while staying at Cove Inn. Inside the large Cove Inn hotel, the only way to get coffee or breakfast is to buy it from this coffee shop, located on-premises, just off the main hotel lobby. This is a small, cramped restaurant but with very good cooking. How small is it? Its so small that spare chairs are stacked in the middle of the restaurant floor! (see photo) (as if, in this sprawling hotel property, there is no closet or storage space available for this coffee shop ... or else the coffee shop manager feels that no matter how odd the place looks, theyll still get plenty of customers due to captive audience). The smallness is amplified by an extremely narrow entrance walkway which is often jammed with waiting patrons. On a Saturday morning 8:45am there was a 25-minute wait to be seated, so we drove to IHOP for breakfast. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we were seated at the Cove Inn Coffee Shop with no wait. And we noticed that later on Tuesday morning there was a line again. The waitresses are quick, attentive and sassy. The first day when we decided to eat elsewhere due to the long wait, the waitress said that waiting is just the nature of the beast. But we werent looking for a beast, just a nice breakfast, and we were hungry. When we were able to get inside the restaurant, we enjoyed watching the short-order cook flinging pancakes and eggs and bacon. These guys are experts. All of the food tastes great, but the super-delicious, delicate, thin pancakes are probably best of all. The restaurant is not cheap: I paid $25 plus tip for breakfast for two. Credit cards are not accepted.

Food was good service was good when I went to pay they dont accept cards only cash I didnt see the sign because I had a t-shirt hanging in front of it Im a tourist never been there before so they sent me to the ATM machine which cost $4 to get $20 out to pay a $6 bill needless to say I asked if they could put a cash sign when you woke up the stairs right above you would absolutely say it they told me no that wont be necessary its always been in the window but I said yes but your T-shirt was in the window that you sell so I didnt see it needless to say no reason to go back there

I think this place has the best breakfast I have ever had. The wait is long during season, but worth it! You can enjoy the view of the docks while you wait. All of the food is amazing from the crispy pancakes (you do have to ask for crispy) to the smooth and creamy grits. I go to this place as much as possible all year around! And once seated I have had exceptional service that was quick!

Their pancakes are light and delicious. Scrambled eggs with muenster as well as omelettes are as delicious. The quality of the food and the fact that this coffee shop is family run make it the very best Naples has to offer. Expect to wait to be seated.
This is a very down to earth and fun to visit coffee shop which serves breakfast. Not fancy just tasty. In season its packed! You really should try the pancakes. They are large in diameter but very thin - and taste great! Note CASH ONLY so bring $10 to $13 per person. Depending on how hungry they are. Walk out to the back on the way out to see the boats - beautiful.

This is the best breakfast spot in Naples. They provide amazing and fast service. The food is absolutely delicious and true comfort food. The pancakes are thin and scrumptious as well as the bacon and hash browns. It’s a great experience for kids too because you can see them cooking right in front of you. We go their weekly and they treat you like family and know my order every time.

Would give 0 stars if possible. First off, the place has 9 employees working all at once for 5 customers in the restaurant. Most were just hanging out looking at their cell phones showing other employees their family pictures. One young guy was touching his hair and had to be told to wash his hands afterwards. When we left, he was outside climbing a tree like a monkey. Hope the owners know they are paying hourly for this? Then, one staff member took my wifes plate away she still had food in her hands. Not to mention monkey-boy took the butter that was on our table, placed it in his smock, and put it back on the counter for use. This butter was on my pancakes, so I am sure it melted some.Truthfully would not recommend. I also question health code violations with the establishment and may file a complaint.

They cook eggs to perfection every time and their pancakes are the best in the world...between a crepe and a pancake. Very clean but tight facility. Everyone is friendly with conversations between tables. Great wait staff. There is sometimes a wait to get a table, but you can wait in The Cove Inn lobby or on the porch overlooking the docks.
The barge breakfast burrito is absolutely the perfect blend of creole spices, cheese, eggs, and sausage in a fresh tortilla. I know what I am ordering for the rest of my stay at the Cove Inn.

I’ve been going to the The coffe shoppe for the past 4 years. Always bring my family and guests visiting at least once because the breakfast is so delicious! The eggs are perfection, the pancakes are the best I’ve ever tasted. I find it really hard to believe that anyone would have a bad experience at this small mom and pop joint. The ones complaning are probably a-holes honestly and got the service they may have deserved because the staff is very kind and the food couldn’t come out any faster. We laugh and time it every time because it’s literally like 2 minutes after you order! This place deserves a long recommendation and like others have said, if you have a wait it’s a beautiful view and they will yell for you outside! Take care guys!

Breakfast was ok but expensive, a side of 3 pieces of bacon was 3.50. The service was fast and we felt rushed to finish to clear the table, We were not even finished eating and they gave us the check without even asking if we were done. The place its very small. We wont go back.
