As soon as Alberto arrived we knew we were in good hands. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He walked us through the service he was about to provide and went to work! He was able to answer all my questions and instilled confidence that we were getting a good product. He was very efficient and friendly. When he finished, he cleaned up and you wouldnt even know he spent the better part of the day working in our house. Outstanding!

We added motorized shades to our new home in West Palm Beach. We have large sliding glass doors going out of both the bedroom and living room. It was quite a challenge given the width of the doors. Elxai was great, worked with us over the telephone reviewing multiple options and helped us get the best solution. Installation was amazing. The installer, Leo Alonso, was the best. He explained everything to us. fashioned a workaround for a couple of difficult spots and everything came out amazing, better than expected. Kudos to Leo.

The technicians (Leo A and Richard) were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and worked with me to customize my system to exactly what I wanted. The techs deserve 5 stars. The company however suffers from logistical and communication problems that occur over and over and make the experience both frustrating and overly time consuming and so at best I’d rate 2 stars because of that. For example, I had very detailed conversations with the sales teams about what I needed, scheduled a walk through but a lower level (black shirt ) was sent who could figure out what to do. Only part install was done. Second walkthrough with advanced (blue shirt) techs who modified what I needed with some very good suggestions since the sales team has a good but limited knowledge base. It is problematic that both times I had walk though teams come the company then sends other people to do the work who are not fully aware of all the details and every time end up having to ask me the same questions, re discuss the whole plan, and still then call the walk through team to try to figure out what was supposed to be done. On top of that, the add on equipment the advance team suggested (and that I then paid in advance for) did not arrive with the installation team a few days later. Having seen the pattern of their organizational problems I made the proactive step of asking to speak to the lead advanced tech to confirm with him that my order was correct and that ALL of the equipment would be ready for the “final” install. He assured me all would be ready. The same problem occurred AGAIN when they come back to install the missing items from the original order! Several items not there - and not available. So I’m now awaiting my third visit from them to get everything done. My time is valuable. They discounted me about $100 when I complained. I spent many thousands on the system, not to mention ongoing monitoring fees. So that discount was an insult. The management apparently do not consider the cost of my time at all since I’ll end up giving three days off of my work (so far)to get this done and a dozen lengthy phone calls. This company is known for doing installs on custom homes and that was why I used them. I would not recommend them until they fix their problems and place greater value on the customers’ time. The staff as I said are excellent, which is their only redeeming factor. Poor management will doom this business in the long run.

The Elxai representative called and arrived ahead of schedule. He was thorough testing each window and door after he completed the security system update. He also improved the control box which was a mess after the initial installation. He was pleasant and patient while showing us how to connect our phones to the security system to control it remotely. He wore a mask to avoid Covid risk and booties to protect against tracking dirt. We appreciated how smoothly it went.

They have a great call in support which helps us in a pinch and were very responsive when I couldnt fix something through their call in support. While at our house fixing our problem Israel noticed that one of my switches was missing a part and enthusiastically offered to fix it knowing he had a part in the truck. That was a bonus! That missing part had been bothering me for the longest time.

Since purchasing our home this spring, we have had Israel and Leo do many things in our home. The entire team at Elxai was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Kristen was our project manager and she was incredibly responsive and made sure that the few things that didnt go perfectly got resolved quickly. They have also kept the system as simple as possible--which makes it easy to operate everything and also more reliable--and on the one occasion that I had a user issue, the Elxai tech staff did an over-the-top job of figuring out everything and following up with me right away. This was on a Saturday to boot! Even their landscape lighting installer Andrew was amazingly hardworking and constructive in how the installation was done. I have worked with smart home services in our homes in two other locations and Elxai is by far the best of any of them by a large margin. I highly recommend them.

Leo rocks! He has installed shades on 11 large windows in one of our homes. He is meticulous and is happy to answer any questions you may have. He will happily program the app and the Manual buttons in any manner that you wish. I wish I could use him and have my other home done as well. Completely professional and competent.

What sets Elxai apart is their customer care. Our clients dont always have basic expectations. When working with Corey Fletcher on a high end home in Naples, he bent over backwards, even went as far as to work a weekend to loan his own personal Televison to a client to make them feel comfortable during their stay in Naples prior to even placing an AV package order.

We built a new Stock home in the Moorings and we worked with Elxai from the very beginning of the process. Elxai was in on the builder meetings before we even broke ground, they took us to model homes that had smart home systems already installed so that we could see the finished product in use and get a good idea of what we would like/need in our home. The employees are very knowledgeable and responsive. We worked with Israel once our house was built- he was so patient with our learning curve! He had to come out to the house at least three separate times to help us load apps on our phones, make changes to settings and to add additional equipment that we wanted. Israel does a good job of not making it complicated!Thank you for our “smart “ home- we can enter the house a press a button to have hallways light up, we can talk to people at our front door via our phones when we are home or away and we can push a button to turn everything off at the end of the night!

I phoned Eric Espinosa in early 2017 and he came to our home and we discussed a whole sound system for the house. We were moving in from Canada in late July. Eric was very accommodating with the payment plan as well as flexible when we changed certain things. Also he got assistance from Israel Hernandez for the installation of a couple of surround sound rooms and speakers throughout the house and the lanai (as well as rock speakers). We also got the alarm system and hook up to the first responders station. They both were very attentive, professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy with the end results, with several follow up visits. We are now enjoying our sound system throughout the house and we would recommend Eric and Israel to anybody. You have very diligent and customer service oriented professionals in Eric and Israel.

We had some issues that were indirectly related to our Sonos System and one of our amps was defective, Israel explained what was going on in a way we understood, was respectful, and took care of the issue quickly. Hiram from Elxai did a great job programming tvs and audio system in a newly constructed home! He was very professional, knowledgeable and made sure that everything operated properly. He also made sure that I understood how everything worked and that he set up everything I wanted before he left. When I told him i needed some tvs, previously installed, to be relocated, he called in additional workers in advance to complete the job the same day. He even happily stayed late to check on an office line set up that I remembered after the TVs were completed. I greatly appreciated his responsiveness and desire to get the job done right!

Eric was amazing. Always answers my calls immediately, answers my questions in a timely manor.
