I had a flat tire and was heading home that day. They took me right away and unfortunately the tire couldnt be fixed as the nail punctured the sidewall so I needed a new tire. They ordered a new tire and as soon as it arrived put it on my car and I was on my way. They were friendly and very accommodating. My daughter also had used them and was very impressed. I would highly recommend Flynn Automotive and Tire.

I came here based on the high reviews and now I completely regret it. I brought my car here primarily due to electrical concerns. They were able to figure out what was wrong with it, however, the quote they gave me to fix it was extremely high. I was on the fence of whether or not I should have the car fixed or just sell it, since its an older vehicle and I was not sure if it was worth putting so much money into it. But since the diagnosis alone was already $500, I figured at that point I might as well pay to get it fixed, especially after hearing the mechanic Mike say my car is in great shape and is worth fixing. When I came to pick up my car, Mike told me everything had been fixed and no more lights were on. However, after I paid and went to go drive my car home, I immediately saw 2 new lights on that werent there before (one of which is a warning light for the transmission). I went in to ask about it and he said, oh did you read the invoice?, which I found rude and condescending. Instead of disclosing this information beforehand, he lied to me and tried to just sneak it in the invoice. Additionally, he said he spoke to my mother who said not to worry about any warning lights when my mother NEVER spoke with him or anyone working there. On top of that, when my stepdad called later trying to figure out the situation, he told my stepdad the lights were on beforehand, which again was a lie. The bottom line is he wasnt honest and if he had told us beforehand that something could be wrong with the transmission, we wouldnt have spent all this money in fixing the vehicle.

I have been having my elderly car repaired and maintained at Flynns for many years. Beside the excellent service, they are careful about finding problems and letting me know so I can decide whether to repair them. Whenever I have found a problem after picking up my car, they take it in immediately to check and remediate. On top of all that, these are the most considerate, professional and friendly people with whom to do business. I recommend their service to everyone without hesitation.

I have been taking my vehicle to Flynns for about 10 years. Great service with INTEGRITY! They always confirm the service I need and give me an accurate estimate. I had some recall work at a local dealer and was given a $3,000 list of services the dealer felt needed to be performed. I brought the list to Flynns and was told nothing on the list needed to be performed. Honest and nice folks!

My wife and I have been bringing it vehicles here for years. They get you in and out quick and have always been honest when it comes to what is truly needed vs what most mechanics make you believe is needed. They let you know the situation and and give you the information you need to make an informed decision regarding whats getting done. Multiple times I thought we were going in for a huge expenditure and they got us out the door with a fairly inexpensive visit. Honesty goes a long way when you are at the mercy of an expert and these guys are about as honest as they come.

We had just move to the area and needed an Emission inpsection for our newly registered car. The level of service was a 10 of 10. The job was done as described and priced in a short period of time. The shop also appeared very clean and orderly. We plan to continue to use Flynn going forward.

I came up from New Jersey to help facilitate a training event. The belt on my Jeep went, I called and asked how quickly I could get my Jeep fixed as I had to leave that day for home. They got me in and fixed in around 2hrs. I know belts are typically a simple repair however my Jeep is heavily modified to include a supercharger.

I had an incredible experience bringing in my car for brakes, tires, alignment and troubleshooting a noise. The owner took a ride with me to identify the problem and diagnosed the issue during the drive. They are friendly, clean, have a comfortable waiting area with a nice bathroom. They do great work and always let me know the estimate before starting work. They call me whenever there is any question or issue and when the work is complete. The garage itself is very clean and the staff are very professional.

I wish every mechanic treated their customers the way Flynn does. I have taken my car to Flynns twice now, both times I was greeted warmly and ask to describe the problem with the car and reassured that they would diagnose what was going on quickly. Within a few hours I received a call describing the problem, the remedy and asked what Id like to do. I never felt pressured into spending more money than I was comfortable putting into the car. Once I agreed to the repairs the car was done a few hours later and I was notified. Ive never had such a great experience with a mechanic where Im not questioning the motives for the repairs. Flynns makes you feel like a valued customer and that they care about your car just as much as they care about their own. I cant recommend Flynns enough for any mechanic needs.

Ive brought my vehicle into Flynn Automotive for everything from simple fluid changes to ball joint replacement and 4 wheel drive repairs.Ive always found their service to be excellent and their rates reasonable. They are now my go to shop for both of my vehicles.

My alternator failed while traveling from out of town with family. I had my car towed to Flynna based on reviews and mechanic availability. They properly diagnosed and repaired my car while I continued in a rental car. Most importantly, they did a great job of keeping me informed, and the cost was very reasonable even though I was a captive customer. Thank you Flynns auto for the excellent service.

I had first gone some place else and right away they were pressuring me into fixing a couple things and ordering a new battery. I was put off because I knew my 2014 car did not need any work. On the advice of a couple people, I then went to Flynn Automotive the same day without an appointment. I was out of there in 30 minutes with my inspection sticker! They recommended changing my wipers, which I bought from them, because I knew they were in poor conditions.I did not feel pressured into getting them there. They did tell me my car was in great condition and didnt need any repairs.

You cant do better they have always been honest and have looked at my vehicle never telling me they dont have the time thats important to me and they have always backed up whatever the problem. Ive been going for a few years now and will be taking my new car to them. Trust is important.

This is a fantastic place! Always great service for my wife and myself, never an attempt to up-sell. Theyve recently built a new repair place that looks like a surgical operating theater for neatness and supplies. Im 73 and live a mile and a half away, and have gotten (and at least twice taken) offers to drive me home after leaving the car.Heard a weird light noise today and stopped by. They were swamped with work, but pulled a mechanic out to listen as I rolled by. He reached under and found a stone stuck near a baffle. Fixed! Less than ten minutes. No charge, but I have made a note to self to drop off some pizza soon.

I worked for Flynn Automotive and also had my vehicle worked on there. I can honestly say that they are the most honest and reliable shop I have ever experienced. The owner takes the time to explain things to the customer and works with them in anyway he can. I know during the time that I worked for them, there were many times people would come in and say they were told they needed work on their vehicle (example an alternator) and for us to go ahead and fix it. After they looked the vehicle over, the customer did not need it at all!! They would fix the problem without having to put a new part into their car and costing the customer hundreds of dollars. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust and is fair, reliable and trustworthy - I would recommend you go to Flynn Automotive!!! I moved to Florida 5 years ago and have yet to find someone I can trust to work on my vehicles!!!!

I always like to give local places a chance, but their prices were actually more than Toyota dealers. Then on top of it they charged my wife $50 for just looking at the car!!! I will never recommend a place that tries to take advantage of local residents.

I have been to Flynns twice. The first time I was in to get TPMS sensors swapped from my old rims to my new rims. The work was done fine other than the fact whoever worked on it ripped up the plastidip on central areas of the spokes that dont seem like they need to be touched to take a tire on and off. Thats fine because its plastidip, but still worth mentioning.The second time I took my car there was for a nail in my tire, they put a plug in it and sent me on my way. A week later the same tire starts leaking again, I call for an appointment and the guy on the phone tells me if its leaking again I need a whole new tire (replacement being over $200). I didnt opt for the new tire because I knew better. I am a student at URI so I waited until I could go to my local tire shop in MA where they fixed my tire in 20 minutes for $20, and its been fine for about 3 weeks now. The difference between Flynns and my place back home is that Flynn uses plugs which just fill the hole from the outside, while my local place plugs the hole and puts a patch inside the tire so there is no way for it to leak anymore. I dont know if the guy who told me I needed a new tire was trying to pull one over on me or if he just lacked common sense but because they tried to make me pay for a $200 replacement when I only needed $20 repair I wont be going back to Flynns

I have taken my car to Flynn Automotive for years. Vin and his staff are extremely knowledgeable.

My car didnt need a throttle body. It needed a new fuel pump and thats why it kept shutting off while I was driving. I took it Tarbox and they found out within an hour, fixed my car and had it back the next day. I havent had any problems with it shutting off since they fixed it.
