Booked online for a space to store a car. After being told on the phone it would be tall enough although associate couldn’t tell me the height, unit wasn’t tall enough, couldn’t get a refund, so got stuck with outside storage which only needed for a month. Outside was only 125 a month but my whole 300+$ was kept. Stay away.

We went to this cube smart for the first time yesterday, and wow!! The employee who assisted us, Mary, was so incredibly friendly and nice. And helpful!! We signed all of our documents and completed the process in less that 15 minutes, which was great! Our unit was clean and ready for our move-in! Highly recommend!

We rented from out-of-state for our college student, and the customer service at the South Kingston location was wonderful - it made the process easy and stress-free for us.

Everything was just the way we left it. So glad I did an inside temperature control unit. We will rent another for the summer.

Nearby, easy access. The people in charge were extremely helpful and made contact when I had improperly locked (not locked) my unit.

This is by far the cleanest storage facility I’ve ever walked through and or used. Inside as well as outside.Beth, and also Mary, have helped in so many ways and are quite patient. When time to downsize to a smaller unit Beth walked me through the many options and all were so clean!!! Dead of winter and no debris or even leaves messing up the outside.Thank you Beth, and Mary.

Beth is great. She is always helpful and says hi every time I visit. She goes up and beyond what is expected of customer service. Other places should model their customer service attitudes and work ethic after her. In this day and age, to find someone so compassionate and understanding is no easy job. She is a great asset to Cubesmart and one of the reasons I keep my stuff stored there. The grounds are kept clean and it is evident for I am there often, to see Beth sweeping dusting being patient with folks on the phone and riding and checking on the grounds. She takes her job seriously and never hesitates to share a smile. Very very valuable employee.Keep up the great customer service.

Easy sign up process.**[UPDATE 12/21/20] Very quick response to my initial review (below) from store & district management who apologized again for the inconvenience. Also confirmed that a technical issue with my access code has been resolved & tested, and assuring me it will work next time I need to use it.**Unfortunately we had to call customer service on the day we signed up and moved in. Had to leave & return later same day with a second load, but the access code assigned to me would not open the gate. After a bit of a delay, customer service was able to give me a temporary access code which got us in.

Guess I got unlucky after looking at the other reviews, as many of my items in unit 278 were covered in mold after about 45 days in the early summer. I noticed my clothes felt damp after a couple weeks so I took them out, but what I didnt expect to see when I came back a bit later was that many of my belongings were covered in mold including an expensive pair of leather shoes. Even some soft plastics stored in bins such as cables were coated in mold. I should have paid more for climate controlled storage. The company recommended I file an insurance claim, but I had already thrown away most of my things without taking pictures because I was so grossed out, so I never filed. The lock they gave me was also too small to fit on the door, which I noticed after they were closed and I had already moved all my stuff in. Overall just a really negative experience. On the plus side, they did give me a larger unit than I requested.

I live in Upstate NY, so when my mother passed away in a care facility in Wakefield in the summer of 2019, I had to quickly figure out what to do with the furniture that was in her room. There wasnt much - a desk, dresser, bookcase, etc., but it was more than I could carry home in my SUV. I contacted a mover and then called CubeSmart to coordinate the move. I did it all by phone and the entire transaction went off without a hitch.Fast forward two years. My sister, who lives in Canada, and I had planned to get everything out of the unit in May 2020, but the pandemic happened. She was unable to come to the US and I just couldnt handle dealing with this alone. But finally, she was able to come to the US and we took care of this in early October 2021.The manager, Karen, couldnt have been nicer. She understood our conundrum and was very helpful. We ended up having to abandon some of what was in the unit because neither of us were able to fit it into our vehicles. Karen had everything prepared in advance so it was just a matter of signing the paperwork.The only negative is the entrance/exit. Point Judith Road is extremely busy and the entrance is a bit obscure. We both ended up doing some rather tricky maneuvers getting into the place. The road leading to the place is quite rugged too.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, safe storage facility.

Good, clean and professional. Just note that a 15 by 10 is really a 14 by 96 interior dimensions. Not a big issue but should be noted

Really nice people, neat clean property, professionally managed! Joe helped us pick the right size space and the whole process went smoothly. We were able to use their free move in truck to move our things in which was a big help and money saver. I would recommend!

I recently moved into the area and needed a place to put my extra stuff. I stopped by to check these guys out and was very pleased with the level of service and the cleanliness of their property. They helped me choose the right size storage space for my needs, and let me use their truck for free to move my things. I didnt lock my storage unit correctly and they noticed and notified me the next day. I was not only thankful, but impressed that they even noticed - thank guys!

The initial call is so sale oriented. Very pitchy, however they do honestly tried to help. I called 3 times to get a person who wasn’t such a sales person. They are all the same.I arrived at the location,Deb was the nicest person, she should be a nurse she was so patient and nice and narrarates everything she is doing so you can understand.

Clean, efficient unit, and helpful employees

I rented their truck to move my Daughter from her apartment in Boston. Brought back the truck on Saturday. Brought it back full as requested . When I brought it back the attendant checked the milage and gas. Now I get a call telling me he did not check the gas & I owe 28.00 for fuel. I paid the bill but will not do business with them again. We had a rental unit there for 4 years.Make sure you check anything you do with them. If there was an issue it should have been addressed when I dropped it off and I should have taken a picture of the gas gauge.Totally unprofessional!
