Amazing people, great food and service! I visit at least once a week as this has become my fiance and Is favorite place to get breakfast. The current owner is a veteran and active in the Nashua community. I genuinely couldnt be happier with the service every time I visit!
I ordered 150 assorted bagels and muffins for a work event. The service was impeccable. The communication was swift. They took all my last minute adjustments and covid-friendly packaging requests and made it happen with a smile. They even let the older gentleman I had to pick them up inside before hours and made him a hot drink. And the most important part? The goods we delicious. People raved about both the muffins and the bagels. All the fun flavors were so so cool! It was so hard to choose just one! We will definitely be ordering from there again! Nothing but positive experience from this locally owned company!
Never been disappointed here. Good variety of bagels and the sandwiches are very good too. My new bagel place of choice in the area!
Delicious, NYC Deli style bagels. Amazingly perfect breakfast sandwiches, muffins and more, all made fresh daily by Chris & his Family. Friendly, polite and eager to make you your new most favorite breakfast sandwich of all time! π So check out their menu, pick your favorite combination from their bagel options and toppings, toasted perhaps, and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! π You will not be disappointed. Become a fan like me and support your local small businesses, What-A-Bagel puts all the chain restaurants to shame!Sincerely;
Ive had their bagels a number of times. Never disappointed. I tried the western bagel sandwich the other day. It was excellent. A little messy but well worth it. I would strongly recommend giving them a try. Last but by no means least, the folks that work there are great. Always a smile and very helpful.
A perfect spot in Nashua to pick up a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. The bagels, breakfast sandwiches, muffins are always fresh as possible. The coffee is delicious. Customer service is top notch as the owner is super friendly. Highly recommended!!!
Great fresh food. Friendly staff great prices.
Place was wonderful! Served quickly, great atmosphere and friendly owner!I would have loved to give a 5 star rating but the staff that placed my order wasnβt to welcoming. I had just asked for a grill bagel and I got looked at like I had two heads. I just thought they had the option of grilling or toasting the bagels. He had no personality.
Great choices. Staff is welcoming and all sandwiches are made fresh. Worth the trip downtown.
Love their bagels!! So delicious and a great variety. Their sandwiches are so good too. My favorite is the Texan and my boyfriends is the Southern.
Best breakfast sandwiches hands down, their coffee selection is great and employees are so friendly!
The one time I ordered it was on door dash ... the order was wrong ... only 2 bagels and 2 cream cheeses (different for both) one was to be toasted and the other not ... they toasted the wrong one gave me the wrong cream cheese and I ended up having to go in and get what I actually ordered ... I spent $10+ for it to be delivered and I ended up having to go in anyways. And this is why I havenβt gone back.
Waited in line for an hour after calling ahead to place my order and I still got the wrong bagel not even the slightest bit busy here either .... waist of time and money
Excellent service...and the bagels are terrific!
There is quiet a selection of bagels for just about anyone. The food is freshly made and tastes great. I usually buy more then one just cause. I live over an hour and a half from there however every time I go to Nashua I just have to stop! The owner and staff are very polite and are great for conversation. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Creative and brilliantly done. I must insist you check it out.
Came in Sunday morning ask for two Bagels Western lightly toasted didnt get anything toastedthe eggs are pre-made in a big plastic bin and they stick everything in the microwave Dunkin Donuts quality eggs and bagel cheese not even melted slightly.the bacon was also put in the microwave, The Bagel was very rubbery and wasnt really good, upset most about the fact that they have a griddle here and they use microwaves to heat their eggs up that are pre-made, are you serious? This is a bagel store. They dont even cook the stuff that goes in the western bagel. Everything was raw
First time there .the rainbow bagel was very excellent.
My agency wanted to have a welcome back breakfast for our staff after being away from the office due to COVID. What A Bagel sliced and individually wrapped over 2 dozen bagels for us and included a variety of flavored cream cheese. Everything was delicious! The customer service was great. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!
Waiting over a half hour. Ordered a Texan and got plain bagel with egg and bacon. No guacamole dont recommend going there.
I finally tried What A Bagel and it was amazing! Ive been wanting to try this place for a while but they close before I make my way out that way. But finally the stars aligned and I was able to try a rainbow bagel. It was so amazing and it did not taste like any dyes or anything other than fresh bagel. Their cream cheese selections are also quite good! I hope I get to try them again soon!
Amazing service! The second you walk into the door you are greeted, and taken care of!So far I can only speak for the (smoked salmon sandwich) which I recommend on a garlic bagel with chive cream cheese and a side of guac. Its an amazing powerhouse sandwich to follow a good workout or start your morning.
Just ate here for the first time.Food: I had Turkey, Bacon, and Egg on an Everything bagel. Really good! My girlfriend had the Eastern sandwich on an Egg bagel. Also good!Coffee: They use New Englands Best coffee, which is one of our favorites, so Im biased on this one. But yeah, its good.Atmosphere: very relaxed. Its quiet and clean. Hardwood floors and bead board walls. Wood chairs and tables. Drop tile ceiling. Bathroom is pretty clean despite being fairly stained.Price: It cost $12 for 2 sandwiches and a large coffee. Bagel Cafe charges almost double this price.Great job!
If you want a fantastic bagel, and friendly service, this is the place. I was told of this gem while working in Nashua and everytime I go back I eat here. Highly recommend!!
The Asiago cheese bagels are the best Ive ever had. My family has tried almost every flavor they offer and everything is phenomenal.
Satisfied repeat customer.
Good service and great bagels but makes me nervous to go there right now because folks are not enforcing mask wearing with the increase of covid every one should be wearing the mask
I am a breakfast connoisseur and will go out of my way to find the perfect little restaurant. What A Bagel blows me away! I live a few hours from What A Bagel but I make my regular treks to this wonderful location whenever I can. I am a very picky eater but I have been absolutely delighted by everything on the menu I have tried. The bagels are out of this world and are baked fresh daily. There is truly no competition between this place and its βcompetitorsβ. Incredibly delicious bagels, cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch. The flavored coffees are delicious and high quality. The staff is extraordinary..some of the most polite, accommodating, and amicable people with whom Iβve done regular business. It is a great environment and I highly recommend it to anyone!
My new favorite place. Every sandwich and bagel Iβve gotten from there is absolute fire. Iβve been ordering from this place during the pandemic (order local!) and theyβve never once disappointed me. I get a sandwich from here at least once a week!
A local bagel shop, with a variety of bagels and cream cheeses. They have a selection of coffee from New England Coffee Company (Both iced and hot). The bagels are baked fresh daily.Theyre vetran owned and operated, with shared parking very close by. Theres a few tables to eat there, and the staff there are SUPER friendly, and always have a smile on their faces.
The bagels, muffins, salads, and gourmet sandwiches are delicious. The flavored coffees are outstanding as well. The owner Alex recommends different food and beverage pairings if desired and will customize any order to accommodate oneβs preferences and dietary needs. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is very friendly. But I gotta tell ya, What a bagel!!
9am and less than a dozen bagels in the entire place. Needs new management imho.
No masks, stale bagels. Bagel sandwich fell apart instantly after biting. Not much else to say! Masks donβt seem to be required and employees are not wearing them either. Figure it out!
Nice local place to grab a breakfast bagel or a lunch sandwich. Its particularly convenient to the hospital...Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, which is within walking distance, just down the block. This place was recommended to us by some of the nursing staff. Im glad we took them up and visited. Ive been back many times since our first visit. Ive never had a sandwich here that wasnt well prepared or that did not meet my expectations. Folks are Friendly, Bagels are fresh, Price is fair, its a good place to stop.
Nice little place. Priced reasonable and they are friendly. Cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese is so good.
This was our first visit to what a bagel. The variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors were what caught our attention initially. The environment was peaceful and the staff efficient and friendly. The coffee was nice and hot from the caraffe and the flavor variety once again did not disappoint. They did have an almond milk option along with their creamers. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few egg sandwich options on the menu. Overall we were pleased and satiated. Would reccomend to a friend.
A string of disappointmentsβ¦ I visited this business at 10am on a Sunday morning. When I entered, I glanced at the baskets of bagels in the display cabinet and saw that all but two were empty. The employee behind the counter noticed the look on my face and told me that there were several other varieties in the back. The flavors that he described sounded good so I waited. There were two people in line in front of me, but with only two employees the line wasnβt moving. The person preparing the food was working steadily, albeit slowly, and I soon realized how long Iβd have to wait to order, not to mention the assumption that Iβd have a further wait for the order to be prepared. Truthfully none of this proved to be deal-breaker since I wasnβt in a rush. What did turn me off from the establishment was that the employee working the register was handling food for customers without gloves and I had not observed him washing his hands. He bagged up an order of bagels for the first customer in line with bare hands, then he hand packed some tubs of cream cheese for the same order and I saw his hands had touched not only the outside of the new tubs, but also the inside. Then he touched the register, the customerβs credit card, and various other parts of the kitchen. I knew that the risk of food-borne illness was too high for my comfort and I abandoned my place in line and left. Itβs very unlikely that Iβll return.
Awesome bagels and staff!!
Very friendly, and quite the selection. My breakfast sandwich was very tasty!
After trying several bagel places in the area, this has become our regular spot. Friendly service, delicious bagels and sandwiches, and a great variety of coffees. Highly recommend!
The delightful people who work at What A Bagel make this a great place to stop in for a bite to eat. The food is delicious, and it is relatively inexpensive. We will definitely be back there again!
Stumbled on this place and it was great! We were expecting it to be super busy but we got quick service with a smile. They were super helpful and did not rush us. Had to get the rainbow bagel and it was fantastic. Will come back and bring my friends!!!!
Great bagels. A little short on the butter. Nice cheap food. Friendly staff.
Last year these were the best bagels Id had since moving up here from N.Y. Not sure why, but the quality has gone downhill. I literally sprained my jaw eating a fresh bagel! And the salt bagels look like theyre made with table salt, not a good coarse kosher salt like they should use. I guess I need to start looking for bagels again
I had an excellent experience here and Im happy to give this five star review. The staff here were friendly efficient and attentive to my needs and even made a suggestion for what flavor coffee I should pair with my bagel which has never happened before. All around awesome place to grab breakfast or lunch.
Western # 2 is my favorite. All cooked to order, fresh ingredients. Also a variety of fresh baked muffins ππΌπ€€
Went today and the bagels were delicious, chewy on the inside and crispy on the out. I got the plain and veggie cream cheese, both were good. I did not find the wait time to be long at all. I also like that they accept credit cards which is much more convenient. My kids did not like it as much as Bagel Alley, but did enjoy the muffins and cookies. The bagels are different from Bagel Alley, but not in a bad way. I am happy to have a variety of good bagels to choose from in Nashua. Will definitely go back to try the sandwiches.
Amazing bagels and breakfast sandwiches! You absolutely have to try the jalapeΓ±o cheddar bagel, you wonβt be disappointed!
10 AM. Was supposed to be open, but was closed. Mailman stopped by while I was there and said this has been happening a lot. Guess I wont waste my time trying again. Not a way to run your business unless the goal is to run it into the ground.
So the staff are super friendly, and the coffee is good but my first time going I found that my bagel was half baked. The inside was gooey and raw.I figured Id give it another shot this morning but its the same thing. Gooey and raw. Id come back if they could fix this, the variety of flavors they have is outstanding, and the cream cheese is tasty. But the raw dough just ruins it for me.
Great place, my kids say they give it 10 stars they love it so much! There are so many options to choose from between the wide variety of bagels and muffins that its hard to decide what to get. We have never been disappointed. The kids favorite are the rainbow bagels and so far mine is the Apple and cinnamon bagel. What a bagel is becoming a daily stop for us.
Great locally-produced bagel with lox and just the right amount of cream cheese. Home-made ice tea, tho no lemon.
I actually get a little excited when I take my car to Meineke next door, because it means I get a bagel and coffee from this place while I wait. Great variety of bagel & cream cheese flavors, and I also enjoy the flavored coffees. Always had good service here as well.
Great local stop! Food is freshly made everyday!
Ive been to What A Bagel three times this week! The bagels are outstanding. And unlike other bagel shops in the area, everyone working there is happy and has a smile on their face and is glad to see you! Keep up the great work!
Great bagels and cream cheese. Definitely adds variety to your morning. We have been every weekend for a month trying new combinations. We Will continue to go back. Also the wait is down to a minute or two for a sandwich or coffee. Not DD speed but the extra 30 second wait is worth it for the quality.
Horrible. Their prices arent accurate and the food (Greek Salad) was mediocre. The gentleman said the prices were from when they first opened and he was well aware of it. He repeatedly argued as the cost would be almost $10.00 more. When we finally got our salads they were ALL lettuce, prepackaged chicken, 2 cucumbers, smushed olives, a little feta and ZERO OF ANYTHING else. Dont bother.EDITED FOLLOWING THE OWNERS RESPONSE :So, youre admitting that you advertise two different prices yet want to blame me and accuse me of complaining? Terrible customer service. If Im coming in to dine, WHY would I check the online menu when you clearly have a menu displayed on the board? That was my FIRST and without a doubt LAST time Ill ever eat there or recommend it. A simple, gee, Im sorry about the price difference. I should change that. I appreciate you coming in and Id love for you to come back... goes a long way in customer service/food industry.
Love their sandwiches, their bagels, the whole shop! They have fun rainbow bagels, many types of cream cheese, and a bunch of delicious sandwiches to try. Everything is made quickly and taste delicious! Never been let down here!
I have been there twice so far. Both times I requested a toasted bagel and they didnt seem that toasted to me.Great flavor, lots of choices, the cream cheeses are great as well.If you are in a pinch for time, I wouldnt go here. They are just starting out so maybe they are just getting the swing of things? Both times I have gone I was waiting for at least ten minutes. The first time I went we were the first ones there, and the second time it was a little busier but I think they could definitely improve on their speed. They are really good though, if you like toasty bagels though I would ask for extra toasted. I know I will next time !Different from bagel alley but still delicious!
This is officially my new bagel / breakfast sandwich spot! Absolutely love it. I get the sausage egg and cheese on the bacon cheddar bagel... Splendid!
What a great bagel!! Fresh and tasty. Cream cheese was great and made the bagel even better. Service was great. Price is great for such a high quality product. They should change the name to What a great bagel!!!
Bagels are inexpensive (under a dollar) but are small, and when presented wrapped up looked a little flattened. My bagel tasted good although I couldnt detect any jalapeΓ±o or cheddar flavor (the bagel I ordered) perhaps they gave me a plain by mistake. Not bad, but I would assume they may have challenging days ahead since there is an iconic, local landmark bagel place 150 feet away from this bagel place.
Wish they still had pizza bagels. A great selection of bagels to choose from
Simply amazing bagels. Lots of flavors to choose from and fresh! Super friendly customer service and they dont scrimp on the toppings. Easy to get to with plenty of parking, but you gotta know where it is or you might drive right by it.
Delicious bagels! Nice texture and not hard or chewy! Would definitely try more flavors!
Me and my wife go almost every morning Real good place and very clean
Best bagels I found since I moved up here from Florida
AMAZING Bagels & Coffee! Freshly Made Cream Cheese With Many Flavor Options To Choose From Make This Place Unbeatable Hands Down.
I just came in for the second time in two days. I used to say my favorite bagel place was bagel world in Peabody, this is a close second. The bagels are crispy outside beautifully soft on the inside. I love their cheddar bacon bagels. We had their muffins and i gotta say, blueberry muffin is ridiculously awesome. Freshly squeezed orange juice... Im loving what a bagel. I literally have to make decision, turn left to What-a-Bagel or right to Dunkin Donuts. Unless I have a donut craving that a muffin cant fix, Im headed to WHAT-A-BAGEL. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!
Delicious, fresh bagels. Made into almost any breakfast or lunch sandwich you like. Yummy!
I went in a few days ago and there were 3 employees behind the counter, two of them were about 2 feet apart from one another. Not one of them was wearing a mask. I turned around and walked out. Even if masks werent required in Nashua I dont want people preparing my food who arent wearing them. I went around the corner to Bagel Alley and everyone was wearing masks there.
Its hard to decide which is better, the staff or the food. Both are top notch. The selection of freshly made bagels and house blended cream cheese is extensive and the coffee selection is good.
The sandwich i got was tasty although the coffee i got was nearly a blunder for the wonderful options of flavors i expected better tasting coffee. Place was impeccable clean wise and appearance overall splendid.
Poor service, long wait, bagel wasnt how we ordered them (extra toasted), bagels werent initially cooked completely, watery coffee, radio was way too loud. But I have a star for outdoor seating. Will have to try in a month or more to see how they do after being open for a while.
By far the worst bagels Ive ever had! It was 7:30 am, when were the bagels made? 2 days ago! Hard as a rock and hardly any cream cheese. Never again.
Best freshly made bagels in Nashua! Great sandwiches and wraps Too! Friendly fast service and affordable prices.
Youll love this place like I do. Ill definitely be going back.
Bagles were very good and tasty. Toppings were fresh. Coffee could be better.
Good bagels around Nashua NH.
Had a Asiago Bagel this morning .. it was amazing!! The staff was friendly and courteous, even though they were extremely busy.. (lines out the door)Cant wait to go back to try other varieties.
Although my kids enjoyed their rainbow bagels, our everything bagels were hard and stale on a Saturday morning. Hopefully itβs an isolated case but Iβd rather try another place next time.
Ive been in three times and each time the bagels are delicious and the hazelnut iced coffee is really good. The people working are incredibly nice too.
Bagels are really fresh. Great customer
Great little bagel spot with friendly staff and good food. A little hidden away but worth discovering
Great and fast service! The best experience Ive had! Keep it up #maineke
Best bagels in Nashua by far. Way better than that other place with microwaved sandwiches.
What a bagel !?!? Big mistake. If I knew that my eggs and bacon were pre-made I would have went to McDonaldβs. I gave it three stars because it was edible and the flavor was decent. Iβm just completely and utterly grossed out by microwaves and it takes 30 seconds to cook an egg so why feel the need to pre make them. Also what concerned me was when were the eggs were premade. I get it a lot of things in the restaurant business are premade and microwaved but when someone orders eggs at a bagel shop itβs usually made right there on the spot. Bagel itself was not toasted like I asked for it to be. Not sure if the toaster was even on when the guy put it in the toaster.
Great bagels, but consistently dont have them. Until they figure out how to make more bagels I guess Ill have to go down the road to bagel alley...
Best bagels in Nashua!! Staff is always super friendly, great prices & atmosphere. Absoltuely love it!!
Best bagels in town. The rosemary garlic Parmesan bagel is amazing!
Consistently excellent service and delicious food.
Friendly and absolutely fantastic bagel sandwiches! Coffee is good too.
Best bagel and great serviceLove the bagel with egg sandwich and different cream cheese
Good food, but awful service, I got 2 things and they passed my order to the back of all the other tickets and started making all of these big orders before mine who got there after me. I had been waiting like 15 minutes patiently. Untill I finally go up and say something after a party that came in after me with 5 bagels toasted and cream cheese on them, had got their order. I went up and stood right next to the counter asking whats going on and they said nothing were making yours now... After waiting almost 20 minutes they finally grab my bagel and start toasting it, and then go to the microwave to grab my egg and bacon for my breakfast sandwich. I thought it was quality food not fast food. They really need to prioritize every customers ticket when it is,busy not just the big ones. Also cook the food properly not microwave it. 1 star
