I have never been associated with Norfolk Kitchen & Bath, so I am not sure why I am being asked to evaluate it.

The designer was not an actual designer. She gave us no ideas on how to build our 100% new kitchen. The beginning process was very slow and there were a lot of back and fourth due to not giving us key things that were a must for us. Then added additional cabinets to make things “better” not telling us these were going to go on too of our heating vents in the floor that we then had to pay to have moved. There is also a corner cabinet that is a double cabinet but intersects with another one where there is a cut out left wide open in between with no door on it (hard to explain) but we are left to have to “patch” it ourself or pay our contractor more to patch it. The cabinet color and layout looks great now but only thanks to me and my mother. Not this company. I will not recommend this place sadly after dropping thousands and thousands of dollars.

Soni, my kitchen salesperson and designer was a pleasure to work with in such a important and emotional project as a new kitchen replacement and expansion. He is a competent professional with a very supportive and respectful persona. He contributed ideas towards the design mods but ultimately let us do our own thing, while keeping us out of trouble with the dimensions and overall effectiveness and look. His attention to detail is critical in the overall project success. We enjoyed working with him and the Norfolk kitchen team. We chose a medium grade cabinet that was not custom, and while construction quality was great, the finish is not as high quality as we had hoped, but it will work out. Soni was very helpful in getting several additional pieces shipped that had some small issues after the initially delivery. She took into consideration functionality and spatial relationships while staying in budget with high quality products. Working with Cathy Keenan was a pleasure. We had a LOT of questions along the way, and she really helped us understand how everything would look in our kitchen. Im remodeling my parents home. A Cape Cod style built in 1950. I hired an architect to redesign it so that everything I need would be on the 1st floor. (They call it aging in place. So much nicer than being called old!) Once I had my designs, my niece and I went to Norfolk Kitchen & Bath in Nashua an met with Cathy Keenan. They have a wonderful selection and she was absolutely wonderful. We discussed what I wanted, bounced ideas back and forth, and in no time she had a kitchen and bath layout done. I was amazed. Over the next couple of weeks, we refined and changed things until it was just right. Then the sentimental me showed up. I couldnt wrap my emotions around the kitchen being moved to another area. I wanted to be able to look out the kitchen window as I always had. The way my mom and dad had. So I schedule another appointment with Cathy and she was wonderful! With sensitivity and understanding she revamped all the work shed done to accommodate my new vision and I couldnt be happier. Cathy is just the best person to work with. She really listens and responds very quickly to any concerns or question you may have. She has wonderful ideas and is outstanding in helping you realize your vision. You couldnt ask for better. Shes terrific!

Nashua location was super helpful. We did kitchen remodel with some weird sizes Nov/Dec 2015 and it is still the best! Would definitely recommend.

We recently ordered a $1300 custom colored vanity. When it arrived, it looked like it had been assembled and painted by an amateur. Edges were badly sanded and rounded out. There were gaps in joints and the entire unit was out of square. The factory had also painted the wrong (hidden) side leaving the exposed side as bare wood. Norfolk offered only to install a painted panel over the exposed side. However, they did eventually take it back and fully refund us, so I figured no foul and chalked it up to experience.The reason that we used Norfolk for the vanity was because about 7 years ago, we had them do an entire kitchen for over $25K. That work included a fitted microwave oven that we supplied. At the time, we were reasonably happy. There were a few issues and Norfolk resolved most of them.The microwave oven has just failed (7 years is not bad), and we were notified of its failure by the smell of burning wood because it overheated. When I removed it for replacement, I was completely shocked by the workmanship of the installation, which was previously hidden by the microwave. The installer had cut through the structural elements of the cabinet - the plywood and hard maple frame. He had obviously done this freehand with a saber saw. The cabinet was held together with large beads of caulk and screwed to the wall to hold it together. It is a real hack job, and unfortunately, I cant find another microwave that will complete fill the hole to hide it all again. I cannot recommend this company.

Im in sticker shock. Over $600 to replace a basic two door 36 vanity. I dont understand it just a basic plywood box. The price seems to match other cabinet stores in my area.
