Top quality products, top quality install. Kind and friendly employees that are very knowledgeable and skilled at their craft. They handled my uneven, sloped yard like pros. My first fence from Gate City Fence lasted longer than expected and I think the new one will be even better. Their vinyl fencing is constructed well and I love the custom-made wood fencing in the older traditional styles. Pricing is reasonable and it was finished ahead of schedule. They can get busy but that is indicative of how great a company they are.

They offered us 2 options - fix or replace. We optd for fix because they said the fence itself still had some life. They fixed it within 5 days. Ryan (we think thats him) did a great job. They even fixed the swing of our gate. Couldnt be happier and will definitely use them when we need to lay down the big bucks for replacement.

Went in with an idea to build my fence not in the typical way and instead of trying to sell me the idea of doing it the normal way, Ken made some recommendations and got my materials spot on. Recently had Gate City Fence replace a large run of old fencing. I have always heard good things so reached out for a quote. Reasonable pricing, communication was excellent, and the fence looks great! Splitting the cost with a neighbor, we actually sent an extra check and was quickly called to clear that up. Would use again in a heartbeat!

I knew we were going to use Gate City the moment they came to give us an estimate. He was friendly, super informative and honest. When they arrived to install our fence the crew was amazing & accommodating. They had to deal with a neighbor issue and were completely professional. A few months after install we found that the gate was staying latched. I made the call & they were out within a couple of days and made the adjustment. I would use Gaye City for all my fence needs but with the quality product & service I won’t need them again!

Does anyone know of another fence company besides Gate City Fence? I had an appointment for 11 today and Ken shows up at 10:56! I specifically told Alexis three times when I called her that I am completely unavailable until after 11 because of my radio job. Ken the estimator calls me and I can’t answer the phone so I call him right back with no answers. I walk out the door at 11:01 and he is driving away? I try calling him back two times and again no answer. I call the Gate City office and Alexis tried calling him and again, no answer and now I have to schedule another appointment. Anyway, I tried keeping my business local so I don’t feel bad using someone else right now.Moving on... I am looking for a fence company to reset about 200 feet of vinyl fence, install an 8 foot gate which I already have. In addition, I need a new rod iron fence installed in a gated area in my back yard with a gate (decent size area). I am also looking for a price on a four foot high enclosed area (vinyl) 10 feet wide and 13 feet long with two gates. (It’s for a trailer)I can send pics if that helps so you have an idea what I am looking to get done.Great customer service there Gate City Fence!

What a wonderful, caring, expert fence company!! First you talk to Alexis in the office who is a sweetie pie. Then Kenny comes to do the estimate and hes so nice, genuinely nice, that he makes you smile to talk to him! Then when they came to put the fencing in, Kenny came with his son Jeff and his grandson Kyle, and they take care of you like family. They take extreme pride in their work and to please the customer. I am so THRILLED WITH EVERYTHING THEY DID IN MY YARD! Its the best experience ever with a company! They call, they show up when they say they will and do the best finish work imaginable. You might think Im exaggerating but Im not, Im just so happy with the work and the workers!!!! No one calls you back. Have called a few times, left a message with the receptionist as well as the answering machine.

I would have given them 0 stars but it would not let me. I tried to call this company late spring of 2018 for a quote and they stated that business is so good that they are not taking on anymore business for this year. So I called 11/16/18 for a quote for early 2019, thinking I would get ahead of the game and the women on the phone (owners daughter ??) was so rude and said they are not quoting out jobs for next year until the spring. I said, wow, when can I get a quote and tried to explain what happened this past spring. She rudely stated NO we are not given quotes, loudly. When I called her out on her rudeness, she said that the owner was talking to her when I called and she was trying to answer him. I am sorry, but if a potential customer calls Mr. Owner, wait till your receptionist is done. Then she again stated that business is so good that they do not need to quote out this far. WOW. God Bless you for being so values and blessed with business. Wait till we go in a recession again and see how you will be begging for work. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

This is a family run business. They are responsive, nice and extremely easy to work with. It is really nice to work with competent, honest and trust-worthy people. I am very thankful we still have businesses like this in America. A million times better than any big box store!

Bought vinyl (about 200) and chain link (about 500) fencing from them 15 years ago (late 2000) which has held up well. Years after purchase they came back to adjust some posts that had settled, that were making the vinyl fence look uneven, no charge (they had installed it). They were also willing to create a no-interest payment plan, to spread it out over 3-4 months (not sure they still do, doesnt hurt to ask). Going back to get more from them. It is still a family run business, that has fair prices, ethical behavior and does what they say they will.
