I drove from Memphis to buy an Infiniti here less than a month ago because the deal seemed too good to be true as the car looked great on the photos. When I shop for a used vehicle, I go above and beyond and do my best to find as many imperfections as possible so that there will not be any surprises later after the purchase. Overall, the vehicle seemed like it was in good condition for being one year old and with 25k miles. Of course as expected from a rental, there were some rock chips on the front bumper as well as on the back that were improperly fixed using some silver touch up paint and other small insignificant things that I could improve myself. I have not noticed anything major with the car upon my inspection because it was raining that day but once I took it home, I did notice that the front passenger door was repainted... I was disappointed to see all that orange peel that was hardly polished off. It does seem like its the original door, but something definitely happened with it that I didnt see when I was looking at the car originally. I do not drive the car at all due to working from home but today I got to the regular maintenance of the car and was shocked to see how filthy the air filters are. I do not think they were ever replaced on this vehicle. The rear bumper was also cracked but I knew that before I bought it... they also gave me only 1 key; however, they did take off $300 from the purchase price so that I could buy a spare, which by the way was $400... I didnt want to take 2 stars off, but I feel like I need to, because it sucks to find out that Hertz doesnt really keep up with maintenance and then just sell their cars in this condition... If I noticed the repainted door, I wouldn’t purchase the vehicle...

I enjoyed buying my used car from Hertz in Nashville. My recommendation to others is to double-check that the car youre interested in actually has the features described on the website. The cars on the lot dont have window stickers listing the features. I like my car but it didnt have navigation and the additional software as described on its web listing. Hertz reduced the price accordingly.Also, you only get 1 key. Be prepared to spend a few extra dollars to get a duplicate key made at your local dealer.
Friendly staff and low pressure. Salesmen work on flat rate commissions and didnt try to upsell, only showed cars we were interested in. We wanted an inexpensive car that our kids could drive and that was reliable enough my son could take it to college in a year or so. Everyone we met had professionalism and made it a positive buying experience without it feeling fake or pressured. I highly recommend you check them out if looking for a great deal on a good used car.

As a single mom, I recently bought a car from Hertz. I was hopeful that theirextended inspection would help from buying a lemon of a used car. The car I purchased was a trade in from a single owner. I had the car less than 2 weeks(first week it was parked at airport while I was traveling) until the car was pouring oil. I immediately called Hertz. I was given the total run around. The finance manager told me thats the risk of buying a used car. I took the car to a Ford dealership for repair and was told the inspection should have caught this based on the amount of oil that was leaking. Anyway, I got the car home from repair and guess what, its still leaking oil on my driveway. Im beyond disappointed in the car I purchased and the service I received. Beware of this sales center they are not honest.
0 best describes our experience. The 2 vehicles we purchased were fair in price and we are satisfied with them. However, the recent staff intervention, not so much. The way we were treated does not give us confidence to buy another vehicle from Hertz. If you cannot trust the word of the salesman and Mgr. why buy when there is competition on every corner?

Bought a car here today. Staff was very helpful. No pressure environment, and they were very accommodating. Took a look at a couple of cars with a knowledgeable mechanic and we were able to find a good car in great shape for a good price. Would highly recommend bringing a mechanic with and checking them out if youre looking to save some money.
Purchased a 2015 Toyota Corolla LE, 40K miles. Rides like new. Price is right and with the extended protection policy no worries whatsoever about this decision. Everyone at the store was very straightforward with me and honest, as was I. Jeff took the time to answered all my questions and Steve prepared the paperwork in complete detail. I highly recommend Hertz Nashville for a new used automobile.
The cars the sale are past rentals, so you can imagine the condition/smells that come from them. I had a bad experience with a lazy salesman that didnt want to get off his butt to come outside to show me a few of the vehicles I found on their site. He told me theyre out there, not in any order, but you can help yourself. I called the next day and spoke with the manager, who was very nice and helpful and apologetic. He tried to win my business back, but by that point I had already moved past it.
Oh where do I start. Jeff was the salesman who helped me, and he was really good. Had test drive paperwork ready to go when I got there and credit app ready when I got back. The whole process was pretty quick (for buying a new car it was about 2hrs start to finish) I got a great price on my trade-in, and through the whole deal I had my 3yr old daughter running around the office while the other 2 salespeople played with her. When the paperwork was ready the manager, Eric, explained everything thoroughly and then I was out the door! Got a slammin deal on a 2017 Dodge Journey, and I would recommend them to anyone looking! I came into this Hertz location Friday with the intention of buying a car. Looked at some cars, but they decided they were closing early and that it would make more sense for me to come back in the morning while I thought it over. I walked in at 10:30am the next morning, and told them the car I decided on, and that I was going to buy. We got the keys, and went to take this car for a test drive. All things checked out, came back inside to begin the purchase process.When we sit down, another sales man yells over that car is sold, I have someone here to buy it now. They sold the car to another person, who had arrived to the location after I did.The GM saw another car was getting checked in at service and would be there in a few days. He walks up to me, and tells me that he would price match this car. I have done my research, and the car he was referring to was listed for $100 LESS than the car I was going to by!Absolutely abhorrent way to treat customers. There are places more deserving of your business.

We bought a certified vehicle, but 2 days later hubby broke down because the battery was dead, so we had to spend almost $200 ! Hubby called salesman and he assured us we would be reimbursed ( texted a copy of receipt) its been a couple of months and no reimbursement. Also we had to get the oil changed right away, as it was very black and we also had to get a new air filter, very dirty. I thought a certified vehicle was road ready? Happy with vehicle except for the hiccups, but this doesnt make me want to shop here again.

I bought a car here in December. After I was talked into getting the warranty, I decided when I got home I didn’t want it. It’s now the end of June and I still have yet to receive my refund check from them. They originally told me it would take 6 weeks at the most. Save your money and time, and take it to someone else.
Let me actually leave 0. Ready to buy a car and have check to them next day- yet the manager wants to accept a offer from someone states away. First come first serve HA. Lets talk about the managing for a second- how about we take the least smart deal, instead of having the money tomorrow and the car off our lot. Dont waste your time if you have a trade in! They offered me less than half of TRADE value! I left and went to another dealer who offered me more than double their offer for my trade and the car Im buying is already marked down $10k. This place might be fine if youre not trading, but youll get screwed if you have a trade!
If you are shopping for a used car, I wouldnt bother looking anywhere other than Hertz! I needed an SUV for our growing family and initially wanted to buy new, but quickly realized after the fees that accumulate most SUVs were out of our price range. Hertz was a great option because they had several SUVs that were either 2018 or 2019 models and in like new condition, but for a fraction of the price. The 2018 explorer I bought was priced at $6000 lower than the average price for that car. Additionally, the price listed already includes all fees (except the TN title fee and taxes which you pay everywhere), so there are no surprises once you start the buying process. I traded in my old Civic and they gave me 3x as much for it now as Carmax offered me three years ago when I looked into it, so their trade-in program is great as well. Overall the buying process was extremely easy and painless!
Its good place to go for cars
After spending two hours waiting for help and then choosing a vehicle, they could not sell my choice to me because they did not have a clear title. would have been nice to know much earlier. upon trying to test drive another choice, waited thirty minutes while they searched for keys, only to have another salesman load other customers into same van to go for test drive while we were just left hanging. they do have good prices and decent selection. I guess that is the problem. they do not need business enough to care. I should have been home four hours earlier after they made as easy of a sale as they would ever make. but basically a whole day wasted, because of their total inability to offer decent customer service. or at least not to me.
Bought the perfect car for us. They were really busy and left us to help someone else without explaining where we were in the process. That would have made customer service better!

Bought an Infiniti from there on 10/6/18 (Saturday) drove it home (4 hours away) THAT Monday brakes started grinding HARD. got worse and worse throughout the week. Finally Friday 6 DAYS after I bought the car i take it to the shop all the brakes and rotors are shot and horribly taken care of.I had asked them straight up before I even started driving to the dealership “hey I’m coming from really far away so I’m trusting you to be straight up with me about the car. Is it in good condition.”“Yea man it’s great, our cars go through a 120 point inspection.”Guys are typical car salesman and the manager is complete slime.Don’t buy anything from this place.

I came to this dealership to try out a vehicle and El Shan was assigned to me as a sales rep. He was STELLAR. He knows his vehicles backwards and forwards, and he truly has the customers best interest at heart. I really appreciated the time he took to let me ponder the decision and help me uncover what I really wanted. In the end, I chose to purchase an entirely different vehicle elsewhere, but I would still recommend this dealership. Beyond the dealership, I would recommend El Shan.
Its been a little over a month since I purchased my vehicle. I felt rushed through the process. The car its self is crap. Maintenance light came on after the first week, got an oil change thinking maybe that was the problem but no...turns out I have to get the transmission replaced one month in! Very disappointed in the quality of the car. Brakes are grinding, there are scratches all over the car (Since I was so rushed did not see initially). I noticed a minor part while there that was missing, the manager promised I could come back up to get it in a few days, when I called in about it he acted like he had no clue what I was even talking about and I didnt get the part! There is a hole in the back tail light and water is starting to fill up in it and its turning brown! Not to mention my plates still have not come! I would never buy from this place. Please save yourself the misery!
I called this place on Sunday to ask about a car I was looking online to see if they can run the credit. After the FIRST call, they DI NOT asnwer the call AT ALL. I called NUMEROUS times as I was ready to go purchase the car same they if my credit was approved. Then FINALLY around 5pm a lady answered and said sorry the system is down and cant run the credit.Then next day when I went over on Monday I told them about system being down on Sunday, the old man named tony or soemthing smirked and looked at other employee (IDK why) and said yes it was down. That reaction of him made me feel like they did NOT answer or ran my credit on Sunday on PURPOSE, coz they were too lazy and rather prefer customer to walk in.Then I bought the car and my sales man mark was good. But unfortunately the car i purchased started making noise. So, since I had 7 days return policy I went ahead to return the car. When I went to return the car, they advised me to have the car inspected at their workshop. But since the workshop was closed at that hour, I thought of going next day.But while I was there, I decided to look at infiniti which they had for sale. But when I asked the sales man Tony or Tom (tan old man with grey hair, same old man who laughed when I said their system was down) if he could show me the infiniti, He said, I WILL HAVE TO GET UP AND RIDE WITH YOU TO SHOW YOU THE CAR. YOU WANT ME TO DO TAHT??? in a very disappointed voice.THAT THREW ME OFF!!! Very lazy employee. Dont want to work and still get paid!!Regardless, their excuse of saying ahhh SYSTEM IS DOWN!! BLA BLA looks like a regular things they say to customer when they are not ready or dont know what to do!!The employee seems very confused about their own system and process!Well, then I decided to return the car regardless but ended up taking lyft ride 3 times, because their SYSTEM WAS DOWN and could not process the refund first time, so I had to go AGAIN!!!And finally when their SYSTEM was up an running, they could NOT put the money in my card due to restrictions so they had to issue a check instead, FOR WHICH I HAD TO WAIT 20 DAYS TO RECEIVE!!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! Id rather buy fleet vehicles from elsewhere!

I had a horrible experience with a salesperson, Marcus Montgomery. He was unprofessional, unattentive, and rude. When browsing cars on the lot, Marcus was not engaging or willing to enlighten me on the cars they had available. As a result, I took the initiative to browse the lot by myself. Unfortunately, I was informed that I must continue working with Marcus, as no other salesperson was available...Once I informed Marcus of the car I wanted, I gave him cash to hold the car for three days. Negligently, Marcus sold the car the next day and made no attempt to refund my money/make matters better. Marcus is truly incompetent and dishonest.
Had I came here and dealt with a professional my score would no doubt be higher. The gentleman I dealt with was in the business of wasting my time by moving at a snails pace.

Egregious parking situation and rude, condescending employee(s). Drove to this establishment hoping to check out a red 2018 Lincoln Continental they had on their website, and will never go back. A bald-headed guy with a large beard (later found to be a salesperson) rudely yelled at us as we attempted to find a parking space on their woefully chaotic lot. Rather than patiently direct a customer willing to spend $30k, he yelled, rolled his eyes and was simply rude. Then when I asked where I should park since all customer spaces were filled with Hertz cars, he continued to repeat Not here and acted as though my presence was a bother. Clearly, he couldnt care less if I parked... and so I didnt. No thanks. Ill spend my money elsewhere!

I searched on line and wanted to buy a used car from them, but after doing drive test,I gave up.its not because of the car,the car was ok.its their attitude.the guy kept asking me pay cash or checkbefore he showed me the car.again and again,when I said I had not made a decision yet,I wanted to check the car first.then he kept silent and did not introduce anything about the car any more .he behaved like he was too busy to talk .when I asked about the $350 off discount as a Hertz gold plus rewards member while buying a used car,they did not accept that .and went back to ask me pay cash or check,I went to another dealer in franklin TN the next day,they were so nice, patient, showed me the car and introduced the features and pre owner about the car without asking me how to pay,their service was better than the guys in Hertz Nashville,and I finally found a car with their help.
