My spouse and I stopped in to grab some coffee and pastries for a picnic. We absolutely loved the vibe and the people working, they were welcoming and helpful! We got the sausage kolache, cherry and cream cheese. The savory ones were my favorite and an authentic take on the Texas favorite. The bread was soft and slightly sweet, baked perfectly! The cherry one was our second favorite. I also got an iced latte which was smooth and not too sweet. The dirty chai iced, my husbands choice, was excellent. All around great establishment! Check it out for a quick, tasty bite!
Yeast Nashville 🥞🧇🍩LOCATION 🏡🏭🏚🛖 - Very small. No indoor seating, 3 tables with 4 chairs each for outdoor seating. Two of those tables have umbrellas ⛱SERVICE 🙋🏼♂️💁🏼🕺✍️ - The man that took my order at the front was extremely friendly. The entire staff seemed relaxed and happy to be working together.FOOD 🍔🥗🍕🍜 - My wife got a sweet pastry and I got a jalapeño Kolache. The kolache was so good we went back for a another one for seconds 😬PRICE - 💰💵💲💳 - CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! Coffee was $2, almost everything else is under $3-$4!Overall Thoughts - Wife and I came with our corgis and sat outside and had an absolutely splendid time eating high quality food for a very low price!High recommend!
Surprisingly good kolaches! Was a bit skeptic with the term Tex czech as I come from Texas and have been to The Little Czech Bakery (thats the famous one) in West, Texas many times. I do have to say the bread is better at Yeast, bready and chrisp without being to sweet. All in all a fantastic place and great food with good coffee. Glad we found it!
Ive only been once, thought it was solid. I had the cream cheese pastry sweet kolache. Good, but not overly amazing. They did have plenty of other items Id like to try, very friendly service and a cool location. Appreciate the originality!
The food was good and the atmosphere was cool, but, considering the hype, I was left expecting more. The breakfast burrito was good but I expected something unique with their themes. The cinnamon rolls were not what I was hoping for and I’ve made better from the frozen food section. Staff was extremely nice though.
I came here twice in two days because it was that good. The ordering online thing is a pain, and almost led to me leaving and finding somewhere else I could pay in store, but I am glad I ended up staying. This is the savory breakfast muffin, which is what I got both days. Definitely have them warm it up for you!
The coffee was good, but the kolaches (both sweet and savory) were amazing. We bought 2 sweet, ate them on the patio and heat to go back in to try the savory. Thats how good they are. Service was excellent and the staff was super friendly.
Part of me wanted to give a bad review just so I could keep this hidden gem to myself. Friendly staff, great kolaches, not over priced. Jalapeno sauce is way better then the taco truck 🔥 🔥
If youre debating whether or not to try something new JUST DO IT. The kolaches here are amazing. Its sorta halfway between a donut and a danish and all incredible. Try the sweet cream cheese kolache!!
This place in insane. I got the taco bowl thing and it’s EVERYTHING I want that no other place in Nashville can give me. The potatoes are like a mix of sweet potatoes and normal potatoes and it’s incredible. And super cheap!!! a bowl with all of the addons is only $7.50. This is my new go to spot!! The staff was amazing too they were super busy and handled everything so quickly with great service.
Great kolaches! Balanced espresso. Sweet art for purchase! Friendly staff. Easy parking. What a nice morning, thank you!
I loved baked items, so whenever I get a chance, I try to stop by Yeast Nashville. Unlike most spots in Nashville, they have Kolaches, which I have loved. Whether theyre savory or sweet, the kolaches always satisfy my cravings.
Kolaches were good, but heavy on the tummy.
The Kolaches are amazing. The sausage ones bring me back to Texas. Today I tried the breakfast taco, well worth it!
I love their breakfast tacos. Delicious and friendly service.
Man, this place is good. The kolaches are the real stars of the place. Great for picking up a few to take home
Very kind staff and delicious koláče - cant find anywhere else in Nashville! Prefect level of sweetness - I had the blueberry one. Exciting daily specials of both sweet and savory pastries!
Unique pastries. Get the fruit filled ones.
Great little shop for breakfast pastries and kolaches. The kolaches are delicious and filling.
The sweet cream kolaches are the thing dreams are made of.
Holy Shizz!!! So good!! Had some koloches (however you spell that word)from the food truck and they were awesome!! Will deff be stopping by the brick and mortar sometime for more!!! SO filling and delicious!
First time having Kolaches. Small and quiet little bakery. Loved it. The Tex-Czech Jalepano Sausage and Cheddar is a must here! Super yummy! These Kolaches are similar to a Danish but thicker with bread and thicker in topping. $2.75 for the sweet Kolaches and $3.50 for the Tex-Czech Kolaches. There is a free parking lot from 6-8:30pm.
Came here for breakfast after we spent the night in Nashville, their food and service was excellent. They definitely care about their customers. This is the first time I have ever had a kolach and their sausage and cheese was awesome. Their coffee is also very good. We will definitely be back when we are in Nashville again. Thank you for caring.
Good baked goods but we missed.out on the cinnamon rolls. They dont make them every day so call ahead to check if thats what you are looking for.
Strong coffee!! Great bite to eat!!
YUM! Never had kolaches before, but let me tell you, I’m a fan now! They are some of the tastiest desserts I’ve had. The bread around the fruit center is not sweet, but paired with that center deliciousness, it is exactly what you want in a pastry. I tried the cinnamon apple and blueberry ones (mainly because they were the only 2 they had left), and I will definitely be a regular customer here from now on.
Awesome kolaches and good quiche too. World-class cinnamon rolls. I will make a point of going here again next time I’m in Nashville.
Stopped by while visiting the city, super nice employees (specifically liked the girl with the pink high tops, didnt catch her name) great coffee and delicious baked goods
Watch out for the online ordering, tip is automatically included unless you change it.Baked treats do be good though
Havent tried their kolaches yet (gasp), but their cinnamon rolls are HUGE, would recommend splitting with someone! Theyre definitely sugary, but if youre in the mood for a cinnamon roll Id recommend stopping here - and ask for it to be warmed! My friends and I got their breakfast tacos, and for $5 or $6 they were a bit smaller than we expected. Still delicious, but wish they were just a bit bigger.
I got the jalapeno sausage and cheddar kolache, which was great. The roll itself was really amazing, so great bread. 4 stars because the staff could be a tad bit friendlier/upbeat (not that they were unfriendly though) and the decor could use some work: I like the open kitchen, but the kitchen itself is messy-looking (not dirty though) and haphazard which takes away from that experience a bit.
Always friendly service, and their baked goods are addictive! Highly recommend!
Everything was excellent 😋Breakfast burritos were awesome!
Wow. Unforgettable. Following CDC guidelines very well to keep our neighborhood safe. The pastries are sweet - even the savory ones. I could eat 100 of these in a day! So good! I haven’t stopped talking about Yeast Nashville all day... my husband is probably annoyed 😂 Coffee is good, too!
If you haven’t had a Texas style kolache you are in for a pleasant surprise. Their dough is incredible and I highly recommend getting a side of the jalapeño sauce. I wish I could eat here every morning! Staff is super friendly, I’ve only had a chance to go during COVID times make sure to place your order ahead and check out their order policies before just heading over :)!
Service and food were excellent! the muffins are like a mix of a quiche and biscuit and are fabulous
Visited at 7 am in the morning for a early breakfast/brunch. Food was amazing! We got the breakfast Special with cheese and the steak dish. Both were delicious and no single flavor overpowered the others. Both were also enough food that after having the amazing kolaches, we couldn’t finish our main meals. Service was great, atmosphere was upbeat. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!
Must-have kolaches that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Kindest staff and amazing coffee.
Having just moved here from Texas I was craving some kolaches and found Yeast. Honestly so good, though the jalapeño cheese ones could be hotter. Dough was great, good amount of cheese and sausage. My wife also had a breakfast taco to give them a shot and they are the best we’ve had here so far(since salsa is such a big part of the package).
Great place for breakfast in East Nashville.
Yeast is absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Its easily my favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot. Their Saturday special is the biscuit sandwich with beef sausage and pimento cheese is incredible. It sells out most Saturdays so try and get there by or before 10am if youd like to try it.Also, I think they have the best Nitro coffee in town. The picture is of their crustless spinach and sundried tomato quiche. Delicious!
LOVE the kolaches! In a year when going to central Texas isnt an option, Yeast Nashville fills the bill.
Need an extra star because I’ve given 5 stars to places that were not this good. Awesome place awesome service awesome food. Had breakfast tacos, kanache, cinnamon rolls
A treasure! I popped in on a Monday and enjoyed a sausage Kolache fresh from the oven and a cold brew. The dough was sweet and soft, with a spIcy, cheesy filling. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a Small seating area, I suggest you arrive as early as possible because they closed a little early Bc the baked goods sold out.
Im obsessed with the cheesy jalapeno sausage kolaches here
Excellent!! We will make sure to stop here whenever were in the area!
Please stay fresh, delicious and in business.
Love the cream cheese rolls!
Love, love, LOVE this place! Anything breakfast related is amazingly good here!! The location needs to be bigger because theres never a place to sit here. This means its always full and business is good. See? Go try their breakfast!
I am too from Texas and the kolaches here along with the breakfast tacos satisfy the soul. Have gone in at different times and even if the line seems kinda long at times moves rather quickly. They have a delicious cinnamon roll that people seem to enjoy a lot. The meat has been labeled in their ordering area to no be confused. I believe one star review was mad about that but if they wouldve just asked the people here are amazing go give it a try
This place is amazing! I go here all the time! Staff, food, coffee, service, all awesome! The sausage and cheese is my fave but the tacos are really great as well! 5 stars ⭐️
These kolaches are what dreams are made of! Loved both the dirty chai and cherry kolache. I have never tasted a better bakery item. These are sooo decadent and soft and just amazing. A definite must try if you’re in the area!!!
Folks from our Texas built this place. Wow, the baked good are giant. It takes a few minutes to get through the line, but no big deal. We had cinnamon rolls, breakfast tacos, etc. Cant even remember. The staff was efficient.
Nice area.
Stopped by one morning as we traveled through Nashville looking for some sustenance. What a great find. Outstanding baked goods, fabulous breakfast tacos. Highly recommend.
This place seemed unassuming from the outside, especially in a town filled with so many great coffee shops that ooze personality. But I loved this place. The staff were friendly and took the time to walk me through some decisions on the menu. The breakfast taco was stupid good, and the coffee was great. I’d definitely come back here the next time I’m in Nashville.
Food is good, the ordering and pickup experience is not.
Amazing food and extremely friendly staff
The cinnamon roll could use some tweaking.
Sorry, but I have never been here. Not sure why you are asking me. It sounds good!Joy
Delicious and worth the short wait for a fresh batch. The line was remarkable. There is little space for seating. Despite the crowd and standing room only, I hope to make this a regular in my life. I sampled two savory kolaches and two sweet rolls. Life changing experience might be a little strong but a great start to my Sunday, no doubts!
I always get the cream cheese kolache! My absolute fave! Great for the price! Way better than just a danish!
Delicious breakfast pastries. I had one of the sweet and one of the savory and they were perfect. I got them warmed up and couldnt have asked for a better start to the day. They are large too, I probably could have stopped at one and been full, but they were so good, I kept going.
This place is my Go-To!! All the employees are amazing and kind! They take care of your coffee, Kolache, & Breakfast Taco needs! 10/10 recommend!!! They are all on top of it, sometimes a wait but that’s just because they are purely amazing. So worth it!!
Delicious food and great people. Best dark roast coffee in Nashville. The standards are wonderful and the specials are worth seeking out.
My people love when I bring them kolaches from Yeast for breakfast. The specialty ones are always worth a look, too, and the breakfast tacos are fantastic. Get them macho style!
Coffee is delicious and hot. And the cinnamon rolls and the breakfast tacos are to die for! Kolaches are pretty darn good, too, especially the cream cheese ones! Very busy on a Sunday morning, but the line moved quickly.
I came in yesterday for a quick breakfast on the way to work. The kitchen is open, so the guests can see everything. In this case, it wasn’t good for them. The line cook’s station was out of order and it looked like it was their first cooking job. The baker working with them seemed to get frustrated a little after 915am and threw a chef knife all the way across the kitchen. I’ve never been afraid to be in a restaurant until yesterday. I hope there is video footage they can review, because both of those people are in the wrong industry.
Delicious selection of breakfast pastries and breakfast tacos. Definitely a must in east Nashville. The seating area is small, but we ve always been able to find a space.
