BEWARE! I just had a terrible experience at their pharmacy and seeing the other reviews on here Im not surprised at all. I went in at 1:25 and waited alone at the counter while staff were standing around talking until 1:28 before they talked to me. I told the lady at the register, my information and she said I needed to have my information confirmed which is typical for my prescription and is not something I can avoid. I came in simply to show them my ID and with it being 1:28 she said they already began to shutter for 1:30p lunch. All they need to do is check my ID. Needless to say I have to go back after 2 to repeat the process then come back a 3rd time to actually get the prescription a few hours later. So make it three visits, and Im not upset about the law which the lady at the register kept trying to inform me of, I know the law, and fully expected to go there just to confirm, but they shut me out early and rudely. Then right after informing me she couldnt help me right now, the lady at the register told me I need to move out of the way so she can help the others behind me quickly. She didnt listen at all to my concerns, and more substantially was blatantly rude and not answering questions. She honestly looked like she might have been on some sort of narcotic herself, she was not making any sense, not responding to questions, and acting super jumpy. All this to say, find a different pharmacy.
My wife was transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital from a hospital 3 hours away. My doctor called in a prescription that I take daily because I forgot to bring it with me. Dr. immediately called the Rx in but it took 2 1/2 days to get it all together. It wasnt an insurance issue because the medication cost $11. Just so unorganized. Computer down... excuse excuse excuse. Dont recommend.
You will leave this place without your prescription or your will to live. They successfully fill a routine prescription about 40% of the time, and there is always a new and different issue. The sheer level of unabashed incompetence here is unbelievable. I would rather be punched in the face than ever set foot there again.
One of the worst-run pharmacies I have ever had the displeasure of living near. The pharmacists are incredibly rude and cop an attitude every single time I come in. More than once, the pharmacist at the front has sent me to stand off to the side as they figured out where my prescriptions were and straight up forgot me/didnt get anyone to help me. It took me 25 minutes to pick up birth control.... I would literally rather eat my own hands in front of my family than walk up to this counter.
Absolutely worst experience of my life! Post op could get no help. I’ve never in my entire life had a pharmacist be so Uncaring unhelpful and disrespectful in my life. Refused to listen or help me even tho I was the only person in the store. Made me cry and wait an hour and thst was after she said I’d have to wait 3 bc she had other things she wants to do first. But POST OP! I needed to be home resting.
Pretty well-stocked, very clean, nice employees, and Im always in and out within 5 minutes.
There’s an issue every time I come to this location. Recently, I stayed in line for over 45mins just to drop off my prescription. The Pharmacy Tech advised me that my prescription would be ready for pickup in an hour. I left and came back and the lady at the Pharmacy Register, Kayla, was extremely rude saying that there’s no prescriptions available for me and requested that I get out of line so that she can take the next customer. She never attempted to check if my prescription was misplaced or consult with the Pharmacy Tech who received my prescription. After I requested that she talk to the Pharmacy Tech, only then we found out that the Pharmacy Tech never put in the prescription. It is something everytime I come to this location. Kayla has had an attitude every single time as she is normally the one that is at the register. New management is desperately needed. Too bad this is the only CVS close and convenient to my home.
Horrible. Don’t ever leave your house and forget your medications needed to keep you alive, because this Pharamacy won’t lift a hand to call your doctor to get you a 3 day emergency supply if for some reason your scrip is out of state and happens to have no refills left in their system even though you plead with them that it should. Like come on— my life and death medicine just suddenly stopped today.... obviously it is a system error. At least get involved to help me. They will just leave you to die in place. Horrible people at this place.
Good selection and seems clean. However, their service is absolutely horrendous. Waited about 3 minutes for assistance at self and no one came so went and looked. I found someone, asked for assistance and they told me I had to come to the front. I said I just need to have my ID checked and they told me I can’t check my own ID, I have to come to the front. How rude can you be? What an obnoxious and unacceptable example of customer service.
The only reason you want to go there is that there is no other option close to campus. I do my best to avoid it due to unprofessional and untrained staff. First of all, I didt not see the employee follow safe distance from you when they are providing a service. But, the horrible experience happened to me was in the phot booth. I asked them for 4 passport pics. They gave me the pics and I didnt realize that my face was cropped in those. I sent my application to USCIS and I was rejected due to improper passport pics. I went to store and talked to the manager and asked them for a formal letter about their employees mistake. They just apologized and never gave me a the formal letter they were supposed to give me.
Dont try to get pictures printed at CVS. I recently had pictures from my wedding printed in a rather expensive $222 order. I wanted 6 sets to send to friends and family. When my husband picked up the pictures, they were completely out of order. It took us a couple of hours to sort them into complete sets. While we were sorting, we found that about 75 prints were unusable, as they were either printed in the wrong place on the picture paper or had giant ink streaks through them. My husband sent several hours on the phone trying to get the problem fixed, during which he kept getting transferred and disconnected between about 10 different people. They eventually made him drive back to CVS in person and then only refunded him $30. Complete waste of time and money. We wont use CVS to print photos ever again.
I’ve been using CVS for years, there has been one man, in the pharmacy, that has routinely, short and rude. I have noticed that the morale in the whole pharmacy has changed over the last years, where they seem to have all taken on this attitude. I just changed all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. There’s no need to be treated like this when you are trying to do business.
This is my neighborhood CVS. It has most of what I need and want. Our pharmacist, Rodney, is the best. He has been very helpful over the years. I enjoy shopping in this store, and really appreciate CVS.
My dog loves this store! Every time we go for a walk, she has to stop in. The staff is super friendly and love how you can bring your dog in, everyone loves her.Pharmacy personnel is super helpful, had some issues getting a prescription filled from insurance (surprise!) and they called and made it happen. Everyone is super nice and polite, even if I move, I’m still coming back.
Was kept waiting on hold for over 10 mins for a pharmacist. Finally, after someone picks up, they just hung up the phone without saying hello. Great Customer Service CVS! I should note, its just this particular store thats terrible. Other stores have great service usually.
I have been on hold for over 30 minutes and all I need is the pharmacy fax number, they keep picking up the phone and putting me back on hold.. this is truly poor customer service..
This place used to be alright but now everyone is very stuck up, the service is consistently slow, and every time I have called I wait at least 15 minutes on hold before giving up. One time I was picking up a prescription when they received a call and no one even acknowledged it was ringing.
Been there couple times and every time there was a very nice person that knows what you need
I guess because they are busy most of the time their customer service is horrible. They were rude on the phone and in person. Management need to work and advise on customer service.
I got to the pharmacy right when it opened and the pharmacist never showed up. I waited for 45 minutes and was late for work. Who knows if they ever came! So unprofessional
I go here almost every day, and Reggie is the man. He always greets people when they walk in and remembers you if you come there often. I love this CVS.
Given the customer base this pharmacy has, they are exceptional at what they produce. Ailing patients from the local hospital to the students from the Vanderbilt campus WHO NEVER KNOW THEIR INFORMATION AND MAKE IT HARD FOR THE representatives there that try to assist. If you dont have your proper information prior to getting your Rx filled then dont try to demand the assistance from the pharmacy and get mad b/c you dont have your facts in order. They are a service to you not vice versa and there are plenty of pharmacies within the Nashville area for you to choose from. At Best, a innocent bystander
An absolute dream. The staff is helpful, personable and knowledgeable, and the selection is all we hoped and more. The ethnic diversity of their team is inspiring, and their overall grasp of human decency is second to none. We regularly fill prescriptions here, buy necessities and occasionally splurge on candies and snacks. This place truly captures the ethos of the milk of human kindness and deeply understands and abides by the Hippocratic Oath.
Im highly satisfied with the service I received today . It was my best experience I have ever had in any CVS stores. The staff are very kind and helpful especially Michael who spent time and helped me a lot to make a very beautiful Greeting Card . Thank you so much Michael !
This is our familys go-to pharmacy, and we always receive excellent service. I will say, though, that it is always busy, since its right in the heart of Midtown and across the street from Vanderbilt. Free parking is available in the adjacent garage, just be sure you go straight into CVS (and not somewhere else) first, or you risk getting ticketed.
I was a customer of CVS for several years and found the pharmacys customer service very good. Rodney and employees always greeted me as if I were family and I was always pleased with their services.
Be aware that you cannot walk in for a flu shot as advertised. They told me it would be an hour wait and then said instead the pharmacist is not doing anymore flu shots 2+ hours before they close. I went to Walgreens on Charlotte which is just as busy and similarly staffed and was still able to get a flu shot.
This place is always busy that’s not the problem it’s when you give them your prescription they try and discourage you getting it filled here . Our insurance works with cvs they tell us to fill at cvs and this cvs just hates filling prescriptions!
Got a $40 ticket when parked in their parking lot. The parking company, Stewart Parking Solutions, wouldnt drop it even after i showed them proof of purchase. CVS management refused to help me resolve. So if you like getting ripped off both with CVSs high prices and getting parking tickets even though signs suggest you can park there, go here! If not, stay away. Shameful
The staff at this location is first-rate, especially the managing pharmacist, Rodney! They are reliable, always helpful, fast and friendly. Best customer service hands down!
The customer service at the pharmacy is awful! My boyfriends doctor called in his prescription so we waited a couple of hours to go get it. When we arrived, he got in the pick up line and waited behind about 4 other customers for about 15 minutes. When it was his turn, they told him that because he had insurance he would have to go wait in the drop off line. Bear in mind the pick up person was close enough to the drop off person to touch them or hand them his insurance card, but my sweet boyfriend who had been up all night in pain with an ear infection did what he was told and got in the drop off line. He waited behind another 3 or 4 people for another 10 minutes, he gave them his insurance card, and then they told him he had to go get back in line at the pick up desk to get and pay for the prescription. So, he got back in the pick up line behind another 3 people and waited another 10 minutes. When it was his turn, the girl had to cancel and ring his prescription again 3 times because she couldnt figure out how to ring it up. The pick up cashier was quite snipy because my boyfriend was annoyed by waiting for 30 min to pick up medicine for an earache. When we got home, my boyfriend called the manager to complain, and the manager just told him that is how they do it in that store. So, I decided to write this to warn anyone who is trying to decide where to fill a prescription. Go to Walgreens and save yourself the headache!
I went in to buy a phone charger and was using my credit card. The chip has been malfunctioning for a couple months and I havent had the time to go back home (Im a uni student) to the bank or try and request one and all that-- and honestly havent had a big need since most of the shopping I do online. Well, I tried to tell the cashier that whenever I come here I just enter my credit card number since the chip doesnt work and the CVS machines dont allow my card to swipe even if the chip isnt working, and the cashier ignored me and told me to do it anyways which I dont mind. I did, surprise, it didnt work. Then, he asks me well, why didnt you get a new card then hm? and Im a little taken aback because he has no place asking me that, with that attitude, and I even tried to save us both time off the bat-- very politely. I dont even know what to say and I shrug a little and he literally, mocks me, and makes fun of me by also shrugging back with a stupid look on his face (like literally eyes wide open and tongue kind of out). Im so irritated and infuriated. I was nothing but respectful to him and this old man is acting like hes my father and pays my college tuition... Horrible customer service.
I went in to have a prescription filled and had to deal with a pharmacist who has a Huge GOD complex. It was 8:30pm and he told that he couldnt fill my prescription or approximately 4 other people that were standing there. His reasoning was he was too busy filling scripts that were dropped off earlierTypically if I have ever gone to a pharmacy their willing to fill your script. because he has gotten bebind. His attitude was as if he were the only pharmacist on Earth and I Will listen to him.!!!I took the prescription and walked out.. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.
The pharmacy is terrible, on hold for an hour or more at times, often hung up on while waiting. Prescriptions not ready when theyre supposed to be, not even opening on time, rude customer service.
Great store staff and management. The pharmacy associates and technicians need to work on friendliness/people skills.
I have called their cvs over 3 times to try and talk with a pharmacist about a script. Every time I have been on hold for well over 10 minutes. Eventually I gave up every time, and today is the last day I take my business to their pharmacy.
The pharmacy is badly understaffed. It takes forever to get your prescriptions filled. The staff dont seem in any hurry whatsoever even if you are sitting there waiting while the others they are working on are callins who wont come back until they get tye message that their rx is ready. Most of the staff I dealt with seemed haughty and stuck up. The one employee who was courteous and friendly was obviously new and untrained.
Great staff!! Very professional!Great staff!!
Not a great experience. Was on hold for an extended period of time. I was forced to call back several times, finally got an answer from the front desk on the 3rd try. The automated phone system is an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
The staff at this pharmacy are the rudest I’ve ever encountered and I’ve been using CVS for over a decade. Just picked up my last prescription and never going back.
Never had to get prescriptions here. Everything else is okay.
The sign says 24 hours, Google says 24 hours. Drove all the way there and this MF is not anywhere close to being open 24 hours. Stupid.
Busy place and close to Vanderbilt !!!
Overpriced items, and the ATM charged me a fee even though it was in the Star network and should have been surcharge-free, but the people working there were really nice so that gets them an extra star in my rating 😁
U dont have physicals
Love cvs
The store was bigger than I thought, and the goods were varied. Its nice to be open late until the weekend.
