The yard driver is soooooooooo nice and helpful. Second time there and had a pretty good experience both times.
The best chocolate milk I have ever tasted in my life no exaggeration. I will go to war for this choccy milk.
As some others have said, it can be tight, depending on the door you get. However, they work around their issues. The docks are on Grundy St, which is directly behind Church St, between 14th and 15th Aves. You pull up on Grundy and park. Look for the yard jockey and check in with him. If hes not in the truck theres a sign on the door with a phone number to call him. When a door is available, hell come get you. They took 2 hours to load me even though I have about a quarter of the trailer full. Theres a White Castle right across the street if you want something to eat. Youre right by the downtown area, so if you go on a Saturday afternoon like I did, be careful with the drunks bar hopping.
I would highly suggest calling before heading out here because there is absolutely no parking Room and your expected to double park out on a very narrow road called Grundy Rd. And a seems like most of the trucking traffic comes in from 15th Ave.
Reviews is based on my experience. Come in off church and go on access rd and first left in Grundy Rd before White Castle and the yard is on the right corner. Very tight yard. Switcher helps out a lot. Basically pull in and park where you can out of the way no call the number on shipping door. They will check you in and give you a door. Yard driver will help you if needed and they load you pretty quick here. I was loaded and out within an hour. The loader brings paperwork out for you to sign and gives you BOL’s. There is a scale on site. Not sure sure if you can use it but I don’t see why not. I had a light load so I didn’t have to. Hope this review helps and as always drive safe out there. No overnight parking TA in Nashville is closest truck stop.
Great place to work
Well i can say they immediately gave me a door there about 3 hrs getting loaded I needed that rest time anyway very small and congested areas but I guess it ok
Friendly place and not too bad backing in when its your turn.
One word......SLOW
Coming out of the freeway, exit on Church St then turn 14th Av, then right onto Grundy and youre there on the right!! You can run to White Castle and use the bathroom but its for customers only.. they have a code so grab a sandwich and youre in
Very unorganized. 3 out of 4 people got hateful with me because Id never been there before and did not know their process.
No space for backup for last Docks(Bobtail )MAN Helps youVery nice personYou can take help from him 👍🏻
Downside: The inside of the facility smells like spoiled milk and backing can be tight if other trucks are nearby. Entrance is on Grundy across from the White Castle.Upside: Loading was fast. I was done in less than one hour.
Loaded the trl fast, parking lot kinda small but it is wat it is .
Great Environment 👍
To deliver. You need a heads up. Kind of. Call. So when you come in. You have precise instructions. Near downtown Nashville. Right off of interstate
I was wondering im in the process of moving in the area soon i currently work for Prarie Farms Dairy here in Battle Creek Michigan i was wondering how they are with someone with a felony record its over 7 years old. And would i have to start through a temp service or do they do a direct hire through the door
Busy busy. With tight maneuvers.
Its hard work but they pay good and everybody is very nice I hope to get a job there
Its ok tight place to get in but unload fast pulling a tank
Terrible, awful dairy. Stinks, tight tight tight spaces to move about in. They take forever to empty you. The only good thing about the place is that its up the street from the best greek fast-food place Ive ever been to.
6 hours for pick up
Halls chocolate milk is above all the others without question. Its flavor, not too much chocolate, its consistency, its just wonderful. A joyfull treat each time I drink one. I havent drank any other chocolate milk since. Thank you Country Delite.SincerelyBethanne Strappel
Terrible place to work at. Place is falling apart inside. Pieces of Concrete Ceiling falls down right by your head. They over work you and you deal with waay too much bs.
Over worked and underpaid. Always working 14 to 17hr shifts with one 30 minute break! Poorly managed. Cant get PTO you earned without calling in and getting in trouble for it. Dont even try to go to bathroom, thats a problem also.
One of the oldest and tightest dairies in the country located in the heart of Nashville. Typical Dean Foods operation milking a severely obsolete plant for all its worth.
Never been but the chocolate milk is the best I’ve ever had. Perkins is the only place in Memphis that has it. Not available to purchase at grocery stores
The place is nasty filthy falling apart worst place to work racist managers
Friendly staff but very difficult to maneuver and surrounding traffic is even worse. Drop lot is a blind side back from a busy street.
No room at all but good People
Ot is a full milk dairy
Disorder.
UnprofessionalRudePoorly managed
Not so bad for charging, come at your appointment time 1 hour early, very tight, street parking.
