This place is amazing. I brought in a bracelet my boyfriend made me that was slightly too small. The gentleman behind the counter took five seconds to adjust it and make sure it fit correctly. I explained how it important the piece was to me end they treated it very gently while working it for me. Was very impressed with the service and kindness!

I had an opal ring that I borrowed from my sister. Well, I broke the setting and lost one of the opals. I took the ring to three different stores who all told me that it could not be repaired. I have to start this review out by saying that the people at Bell Meade Jewelry and Repair deserve so much more than a 5 star review.My fiancé and I took her engagement ring (of 8 months) in to fix a broken prong and a lost side stone. One week later, a different prong had broken off also. We took back it to Bell Meade Jewelry because they had done such a great job repairing the previous prong. They took it upon themselves to put the ring under a microscope to determine any additional problems the ring might have had. By doing so, they identified 3 additional cracks in prongs. Many jewelers probably would have kept this finding to themselves, so that they would have a repeat customer paying for multiple repairs. However, the jewelers and associates at Bell Meade determined that this was a manufacturing defect and encouraged us to send it back to the (reputable) jeweler to claim our warranty. We did just that, and the original jeweler replaced the head of the ring for free. If you’re around the Nashville area and are looking for an honest and trustworthy jewelry repair company, don’t look any farther. They potentially saved me $1000+, and I’ll honestly be forever grateful. They are an incredible company with incredible people.

BMJ recently rebuilt 2 heirloom rings for me. They were my mothers, and they had very tiny ring sizes. BMJ replaced the bands completely with ones more fitting a mens style and with more modern design. They also plated the 14K rings with rhodium to better fit my preference for white gold/platinum. I was very hesitant to allow anyone to mess with these rings because of both their sentimental and $$$ value, but I felt very comfortable with things after meeting with the guys at BMJ. I could not be more happy with their work, and I will use them exclusively for future repairs/alterations.

I had just gotten my class ring in today and it was extremely small. the app the class ring company gave me was terrible. We made our way over to Belle Meade Jewelry and they were so nice and understood what was wrong with my ring. They had me test a few ring sizes first to make sure I got the perfect fit. Once I got my ring size, they made sure that it fit perfectly on my finger. I had to made the size a small bit larger, i’m so glad that they ring sized me while they were enlarging the ring. I highly recommend this place to get your Jewelry fixed, or to even buy some! They have a ton of beautiful diamonds and bracelets! Wonderful experience. I had accidentally bent my ring out of shape -- not an especially valuable ring but great sentimental value since it was a gift from my parents for my 16th birthday (more than 30 years ago)! Let me just tell you about my amazing experience with Belle Meade Jewelry and Repair and their top notch staff! I called to ask if they cleaned and re dipped rings and they couldnt have been nicer so I told them I would stop in on my lunch break. Sure enough when I stopped in they examined my ring in front of me on a huge screen so I could see everything and they found a loose diamond in my ring as well. I had to leave my ring with them and told them I would be back after work and they said no problem. Well I was running late getting off work so I called them and they said no problem at all and they stayed after hours for me so I could leave with my ring that day. Talk about customer service! I went in looking to get a new strap for a watch that had lost its strap. Scott gave it a quick look and measurement, then immediately showed me his recommended styles for my watch. He was incredibly knowledgeable and tasteful. They didn’t have anything in stock for the specific size of my watch, so he took my information and ordered it. Within 2 days I got a text, and went in to find my watch fitted with one of the beautiful leather straps he recommended. Very swift and helpful service, genuine care for my product, and incredibly friendly treatment. True 5 stars.

I stepped by this place recently for the first time and had a really good experience. All people working there are very polite and were very quick about getting to me despite there were other people in. They quickly fixed my dear old golden chain torn several times. They have a cool feature in the store - you can watch what the jeweler is doing on a big screen as if through a magnifying glass. They also cleaned my other golden chain for free and they did not charge me for an experimental adjustment of a couple of earrings I was given as a present. The problem with the earrings was that the parts that go in your ears were too thick for me and were hurting to insert and to wear. The jeweler hesitated at first to try to make them thinner but then did a great job and did not charge for it. Of course I dont mean that you should expect all experimental work to be done there for free, but I just had such a good and pleasant experience there. Very attentive and polite people! They also sell a lot of very pretty things there. Will go there again one day!

These guys are AWESOME! Brought my husbands titanium wedding band in after he caught it on a truck door and bent it into an oval. I wasnt sure if it could be reshaped, but they put it on the mandel and started pounding. In less than 5 minutes it was a near perfect circle again! They said they had to use a lot of force in such a tough metal, but they did a remarkable job! they also cleaned and inspected my ring and didnt charge me a dime. I was unsure if I would be able to make it by the time they closed but I called ahead and Scott said he would wait around for me. Fixed my necklace for me right then even though it was after closing time. He explained the repair process to me and even gave me advice on what could be done in the future to ensure the quality. This is the best jewelry shop and jewelry repair shop in town. Not only do Scott and his team know their stuff, but they are extremely friendly and dont mind explaining the process to you. They have a big screen so you can watch your things get worked on, and its pretty fascinating to see up close all that goes into a ring or piece of jewelry. There is camera on his laser machine and you can watch what he is fixing on a TV... Super Cool, especially if it is your piece of Jewelry that he is fixing. They made me an adjustable chain for my necklace and i absolutely love it. They are very knowledgeable about jewelry, friendly and will help with anything they can.

Y’all, these people are AMAZING. I brought in my engagement ring with a broken prong for an estimate on how much it would cost to be fixed after the big name store my fiance bought it from were no help to us. Scott took my ring back right away and completely rebuilt my broken prong as well as reinforced the other three to ensure that this didn’t happen again, all while I waited. The best part was that I was able to watch the whole repair on a live stream and Scott explain EVERYTHING while he was doing it. They were very professional but also very personable and I feel great about the entire experience. The price was very reasonable, especially when you consider that this is a very sentimental piece of jewelry that I will wear for the rest of my life with peace of mind knowing I will not lose my main diamond. At the end, Scott checked all the prongs on the small diamonds in my band and thoroughly cleaned my ring so now she’s as sparkly as ever! I will definitely be bringing all of my future jewelry repair needs here!

Hes guys are amazing!! My engagement ring sits pretty high up and is very delicate and when it was hit the other day one of the tiny diamonds in the halo was knocked out and lost. The customer service is excellent and more importantly the quality of work is phenomenal. I got my engagement rings soldered together. While Scott (the owner/jewler) worked, I watched the entire process on the big monitor above him. He pointed out three lose diamonds and a tiny crack in the ring (which I could clearly see on the monitor). He fixed the defects without charging me extra. I was 110% pleased with the results. Long ago my mother and I haggled a dealer in Atlanta for a bracelet composed of many little parts including springs and what looks like parts of handcuffs because we both loved it on me. I havent taken if off much since then but it often falls apart under stress being composed of lots of pins. I have previously had it repaired by a local jeweler and his solution while functional was to get cheap metal (of a different color) and beat it to fit. The work done by Belle Meade Jewelry was higher quality than the original construction of the bracelet itself. They also came in cheaper so when I went in today with a rare watch that was more or less designed to have the band clasp fail from poor welding he let me know it would be way to expensive to try and repair. They helped me to find the really tiny serial numbers and gave me a good google string and now I am having just the band shipped over from Holland.

This past January, I brought in two watches for repair; a Citizen’s Eco-Drive to be re-sized and an older limited edition Kenneth Cole New York with a broken stem and possible battery replacement. I have been satisfied with my previous purchases and repairs so I decided to go back; however, this last visit did not deliver. Upon entry, the “jeweler” was assisting another customer. He was polite enough and assisted me once he was finished. After explaining the services needed, he told me that the re-sizing would be $27 (I later found that I was outrageously overcharged) and began looking at the Kenneth Cole watch. He reset the time explaining that the battery is good. While working on the Citizen watch, he said that there is a problem with the stem but that watch is not worth opening it to fix it…if it was a TAG than he would feel it was worth it. I felt a little insulted because I LOVE my Kenneth Cole and it was worth it to me. If he did not have my other watch in his hand, I would have left. Hindsight is 20/20. Within 2 weeks, the pin came out of the Citizen watch. I took it back but was told by a young woman that the “jeweler” was not in. As I tried to explain my issue to her, I felt that she was bothered that I wanted to complain about the bad service I received and could not take her attention from the work she was doing in the display case. She elucidated that I could leave it there for the jeweler but there will be a charge. Because my time was limited, I didnt want to waste it somewhere with them. Luckily I found a real jeweler that repaired Belle Meade’s mistake (free of charge) as well as repaired the stem and replaced the battery on the Kenneth Cole watch. Since they appreciated how I value my watches and jewelry, making a purchase while I wait was a no brainier. I suggest if you go to Belle Meade for repairs, make sure the “jeweler” feels it is worth it, he may fix it correctly the first time.

They fixed the battery and welded my watch band in less than five minutes. Quick service that was thoughtfully and carefully done. This is the second time Ive gone to this store and have been very pleased with the friendly and professional service both times.

Decent service but a complete rip off, was in a hurry so i made the mistake off paying, charged 49$ to size my watch bracelet (4 links). took like 2-5 minutes for him to do. I should have refused to pay, beware they will rip you off, will never go there again no more business from me.

This is best Jewelry/Repair shop I have experienced. I brought in jewelry for repair thinking some could not be fixed and others would take a week or more. Not only did he repair a bracelet that seemed impossible but did it on camera for me to watch and handed it back to me within 20 minutes. He repaired at least 6 other pieces within minutes. Scott has state of the art equipment and is an expert in this field. They treated me as if they had known me for a long time. Highly recommend them.

I needed the band on my rolex resized and they were able to do it for me right away. After he measured my wrist he went over to his work area and came back a couple minutes later with a perfect fitting watch. I would like to thank Scott for resizing my fiancés ring. Unfortunately we could not resize the bands as well, but I called Scott all the way from Roswell, NM while shes there in Nashville and he not only refit the ring today but my lady didnt even have to wait long. The earwire came off one of my earrings and I took it in for repair. I gave them the earwire as well as the earring so the repair literally consisted of them placing the earwire back on the earring. When I dropped it off, I was quoted $25-30 and was told I would receive a phone call when they determined a certain quote. The phone call never came so I called and requested they give me a quote over the phone since it had been over a week since I dropped it off. I was then quoted $50 and advised the extra money would needed to capture the rich gold look. I then explained that I just wanted the earwire re-attached to the earring. I then got a lecture on goldsmithing. I took the earring home and reattached it myself.**The response the owner posted is inaccurate. There was no part that was needed as the fix was simply placing the hook back on the earring. The only follow up phone call was initiated to the business by myself and it was only then I was apprised that 14k gold would inexplicably need to be purchased.**

I recently became engaged, and my ring was too large and actually flew off of my hand and hit someone in a restaurant. I knew then that I HAD to get it re-sized and soon, but I was hesitant to leave it with a jeweler or let it out of my sight. I came in this afternoon to have my watch repaired. It neededa new battery. I was so impressed with the awesome customerservice I received during this visit ! My watch is working verywell now, and I know I will happily return to this store in thefuture.

Stumbled upon Belle Meade Jewelry & Repair and brought my favorite sunglasses in, which I was desperate to have fixed, to see if they could help me. Not only were they super friendly and courteous, but they fixed my sunglasses in about a minute flat. I would highly recommend these guys to my friends and family!

I agree with the previous horrible reviews. This guy is totally creepy as well as rude, no class & dishonest!! All I needed was a couple of links taken out of some watches, he wanted to charge me $25.00 per watch to remove the links. I ended up doing it myself & it took me approx. 2 min/watch to remove the links. I dont know how he stays in business with his psycho personality & poor workmanship. BEWARE!!

They are horrible. My watch estimate was no where near what the watch repairer wanted to charge and they are unable to provide a solid date when it will be repaired. Stay away from these guys.

They fixed an inexpensive but very sentimental clock for me AND created a beautiful charm bracelet from my late grandmothers jewelry. LOVE THEM!
