Be carefully buying food here. Low quality and some gone bad and still on shelf for sell!

Lots of stuff. Very organized but not enough registers. I stood in line talking with other people backed all the way down the aisles. Lady at the register was very nice and knew what she was doing. She apologized several times for the wait. They have 6 registers but only had 2 open and the store was packed. I saw several people walk out and leave their stuff. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Get those ladies some help...

We are supposed to wear a mask to enter this store. I dont have a problem with wearing a mask but i feel like the cashiers SHOULD also wear a mask. A cashier didnt have one on and sneezed all over the register area. YUCK

This DG specifically has the slowest and longest checkout lines Ive experienced. They only have 1 or 2 checkout lanes running, max! It doesnt matter what time you go, its always like that. Ive seen people cuss, throw items & storm out. Ive put items back & left too. A couple times Ive stood in line for 30 minutes!The employees are rude and just act like they dont care at all. Its in walking range from my house, but I try to avoid it if possible!

I stopped in to get snacks and juice between patients and was pleasantly surprised by the plethora of options.

Horrible!!!! The cashiers are yelling over the customers in line at each other. The actual facility leaves little to be desired in the cleanliness division and utter chaos in all directions of the store. I have never seen clerks talk so sassy to their customers. Not impressed. Wont go back ever!!!

I can usually find what I want here. I find this Dollar Market at the Thompson Lane location off the beaten path if youre going by bus. I dont like getting my fresh food here like vegetables or some fruits. But it is good for staple items like bread, milk, eggs, etc.I mainly come here because it is close. The store is easy to get around in and most of the time. I have used the bathroom here on several occasions, and mostly have found them cleaned with plenty of toilet paper and paper towels for hand drying.

One of my favorite dollar general to shop in Nashville. The employees are friendly and helpful. You are required to wear a mask and to social distance while shopping in the store during the covid-19 period.

Stood in line for an hour and 15 minutes even though management was available to move around freely, they would rather watch the older and obviously newer cashier struggle with the hustle and bustles crowd whos last option was the Dollar General store because all other competitive retail stores closed early. One employee closed her line and left over 20 people just out there in no where land. Still waiting patiently and cracking jokes along side me with no room to be socially distant so politely mind your mask buddy!!! Lined around the corner and up the aisles. The people were patient As a former manager of the popular chain I was very disappointed to see people walking out with only one or two items which could have been addressed better than it was. I was really feeling like I should open a register and help out. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service not addressed this evening. So much for what the people call Holiday Spirit, as it was lacking this particular evening. Customer service never showed up. See you in the funny papers DG Market!!!

It’s decent when it comes to the items they have in stock. However, in previous times I’ve come across situations that involved disrespectful employees. An attitude over a question about the price. There are more professional ways to respond.

The store has excellent customer service.. Larry the manager is very helpful and gregarious...He really does adhere to the policy: The customer is always right.

It works dishonestly here. I saw the price tag there was $ 2 And they charged me $ 4. I bought two berries, one for $ 2, the other for $ 1.5. And they charged me $ 8, this is very dishonest, it is considered a theft. I was here. for the first time and this will be the last time.

It was right at the beginning of the Covid pandemic with people going hoarding crazy so we wont fault the condition of the store but normally the store is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful. The grocery section, specifically the freezer and refrigerated section, offer some great finds and hidden gems for prices less than their grocery store competitors!

The market stores offer a lot more selection of food items among other things. I am able to get most of my goods there When using the app digital coupons. Very easy to use after signing up. Once Im at the store all I have to do is enter my phone number to get the coupons. Works great.

Okay I love this location because its the only dollar market thats close to me that sells the baby frozen scallops. its a cross-town from where I live but if I want those scallops this is where I have to come to its a dollar market so it has more store like items than regular dollar stores fresh produce is awesome here and the prices are very affordable now sometimes the lines alone but when you add it all up I guess its worth the wait. Horrible treatment! Im very tired of going to this garbage called a store.Some cashiers at this store need to learn something called RESPECT! R-E-S-P-E-C-T! This is the second time that I visited this store and was treated poorly. Who ever owns this needs to hire employees that dont have a baby fit when they are supposed to do their job! Uneducated adults that act like kids with their little smart attitude.

Dollar General is a great place to find affordable items and great deals in general. My wife and I are committed and loyal customers. Even when in unfamiliar regions, we will go out of our way to GpS the nearest DG just to take our business there over the dollar store competitors. Their diapers are very affordable and if great quality. Also, they are the only brand of diapers we have found which our son is not allergic to.

This is a small grocery store that has all the basics at a great price. They even have some fresh fruits and vegetables. As long as you are not doing grocery shopping on a large scale for specific items, this place is a great choice for your basic needs. It is, also, located right at a major intersection on Murfreesboro Road making it easily accessible.

The staff is always nice, great location and always clean and organized. There has been a few incidents where a particular staff member was been very unprofessional in his behavior but as soon as it was presented to managers they resolve the issue.

Rough place. Barely good for essentials. With products especially packaged for their stores. What may appear a bargain, really a ripoff. Maybe the only redemption is cleaning products are a smidge cheaper than your average grocery. Definitely not the place to shop for healthy alternatives. Soaps and the like shelved under lids that are alarmed when you move to get whats inside. Apparently, everyone is a criminal. However, the day I was there, some guy crammed things in his pockets and dashed out the door. Setting the alarms off. Not a single employee did a thing about it. There were also these kids in the car park selling candies for a supposed school function, for $2 when their box and the individual candies themselves were labeled $1. When a man pointed out this discrepancy, the children got a bit violent. The security car in the car park just appears to be a decoy with its obnoxious flashing lights. Never moving.... Maybe this places appeal is just waiting to see what happens next?

Dollar Markets everywhere are without disappointment. These retail store accomplish the customer service standard. We are thankful and appreciative.

Out of canned ham and does not sell beer.Little bit more expensive than Kroger and doesnt have a big variety but still easier if you just need a few things

It was horrible. The refrigerated orange juice had soured sitting in the cooler area. It was the longest store visit ever the few lines that were open were long and they werent moving fast at all. Every line needed manhandled assistance!

Nice selection of stuff. Line gets a little long. Store is a little messy but it stays busy.

We shop here alot. Not for fresh groceries at all but everything else and if we are in a pinch for milk and other household stuff. The staff are really sweet!

Every time I go in thinking I have coupons there is something that doesnt get taken off. I quit shopping here because of that. You take the time to go online clip your coupons and dont get your discount. Items are oddly placed. Hard to find what you are looking for.

They have abundant parking. The store is generally stocked well. Prices are fair. Staff is friendly enough. However, this place can get slammed! I mean not moving for 10 minutes in line. It is often so bad that people leave their merchandise and walk out.

Convenient shopping for food items and household supplies. It is located closer to me than a Walmart, and prices are reasonable.

Fresh vegetables are a joke.. they cant hire anyone because of the pay rate is too low. Associates are loud and many refuse to help consumers in wheelchairs. Store needs a really good cleaning. Debit card reader constantly out of order. Whole store needs to be reorganized and security added since this store has a high theft loss.

First of all, this store was a mess!!! The shelves were all disheveled and there were clothing items all on the floor under and around the racks. I was in there between 5 and 6 PM which is peak time for people shopping on their way home from work...they only had 2, yes TWO checkout lanes open and BOTH cashiers were cutting up with people either finished shopping or waiting in line...my cashier was so busy talking to someone that she rung up an item I was purchasing 2 of 4 times...rather than take the two extra off..she asked me if I wanted to go get two more so that she didnt have to take them off my ticket!!! SERIOUSLY!?!? If I had wanted 4, I would have put 4 in my basket!!!🤬😡
