I went yesterday just to LOOK at a guitar that Ive been wanting [the Fender H.E.R. Stratocaster] and they had it, it was soooo pretty, the guys were all very nice and helpful, and they allowed me to purchase through Reverb and pick it up in the store today.!! They also said they would buy the electric guitar that I currently have from me. Im sooooooo excited to continue my journey to becoming a Rockstar with THIS beauty.

I had no idea what to expect walking in, as I was in the area and decided to check it out.Im glad I did. The service was incredible, and the selection cant be beat. Prices are about what to expect from a musical instrument store like Guitar Center, but the vintage side of things is what will keep me coming back in the future.

Some of the best people for helping a no nothing guy like me. Im trying to adapt microphone stands to a completely different purpose. They took time to teach me about limitations and found me a great used one to test out my project. If the moch up works will definitely be back

Friendly staff and cool selection, but some of their cooler and higher priced guitars could use setups and new strings. A little TLC would go a long way. All were still playable, but I started to understand how they still had some fancy limited-run Fender guitars from a few years back, which I hadnt seen elsewhere before, when I noticed some serious fret buzz issues and strings that were rusting. Definitely check the place out, but make sure you inspect what youre buying.

I love coming to this store!! Theres always so many pretty and rare instruments there, it fills my band geek heart with endless joy. The employees are always nice and even let you handle the instruments even if you are not looking to buy anything. One day when I have enough money for more instruments, I will definitely buy one from here. There are also frequent sales, and my family has gotten two alto saxophones and one flute from this store, and they all play great! I wish I could come and visit this store all the time, but unfortunately I live in Clarksville. But whenever we take a trip to Nashville, I always ask, Can we go to the music store!?? I just love this place so much

This is the place to find your next used guitar, or pedal. Two years ago, I found my current favorite guitar (66 Harmony Rocket) here by just walking in with a 96 Stratocaster to sell, and I made a deal a few hours later. Great staff and an eclectic selection of gear for all tastes and price ranges.

I can’t talk enough about how kind these folks were. They’ve got some incredible gear in here and they know what they’re talking about. If you’re a musician traveling though Nashville, you should consider stopping by and then you should consider purchasing some of their premium gear!

The purpose of visiting this store was to check out their percussion area. Although I ended up checking out other areas of the store I MUST brag and give KUDOS to the Percussion ROOM. They had everything my son needed. The drummer that runs the room was patient, informative, helpful, professional and FAIR. Patronizing this establishment was WAYYYY better than the non-existent customer service I usually receive at the main stream, big chain music stores. We will definitely be back and cant express our gratitude & appreciation enough for the Percussion Room support!

Years ago I had a Iceman ps10 Paul Stanley model autographed by Paul Stanley himself when I was down financially strapped and needed to sell it they new it and low-balled me as much as possible and cheated me as much as much as they could.. they are Crooks.

Got a great deal on a Fender Blues Jr. Amp!The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable. They have excellent deals on guitars, amps, keyboards etc...It is hands down the best store in Nashville for all things musical!

Great variety of instruments and great service

The employees here are very helpful. I bought a native instruments machine MKII and had some trouble registering the serial number. Once it became clear that I wouldn’t be able to register the SN (rendering the unit unusable) they gave me a full refund. Awesome costumer support and very understanding staff!

They got me just what I wanted and it didnt take long all instruments are in time there you dont have to hunt it instrument and try to tone it up because its already tuned what a concept !

Great customer service! Very knowledgeable and answered my questions fully regarding the three reasons I was there. I went in for some cords and came out with a piano AND some cords... without them even suggesting or pressuring me. It was due to their answers to the questions I had. :)

I took in my Grandfathers banjolele to be restrung and to replace the missing bridge. The handled it with care and sold my a wall mount to display it.

This is the best place in Nashville to buy an instrument. Ive been a regular patron now for over 5 years and the folks here never fails to provide excellent guitars and service. The past few months I started really getting back into playing electric guitar again and Ive invested at least a few thousand dollars in quality products from here. Paul and Ryan were always good to me and did their best to accommodate me. I recommend Nashville Used & New Music to everyone in the area.

Its not often I take the time to write a review on a store but in this case I am. This place is an absolute gem! Paul gave me amazing service and spent a good deal of time working with me to help me find my first Martin. I was most impressed with how much care they take in maintaining their inventories condition; this isnt the case with other large guitar dealers. Theyve won a loyal customer from me. Great prices, great service, excellent products; you cant ask for more!

I always come here for any musical or vocal need. I love the customer service here. Always top notch and they get me right every time. I would also come here just for some friendly advice, as well. And they won’t charge you for it, either, nor stir you towards any brand in particular unlike other stores *cough cough* Guitar center *cough cough*Also, pretty decent prices. The only thing I hate about this place is the fact that they don’t sell Taylor guitars, my fave brand.

I traded in a double bass and there was lots of interesting inventory to choose from... and only 20 minutes from East Nashville. Friendly staff of the wide selection

So, I was looking for a vintage Ludwig Supraphonic for the studio. I came across this beauty and it was in great shape and the price was right. As I checked out, I got a little bonus. This snare was owned and brought in by Ronnie Tutt, Jr. Who knows, maybe dad gave it a little workout over the years. Friendly and knowledgeable service and an amazing find for me.

Charles Schrader and his team were amazing and went above and beyond to help us find an instrument that was hard to find for my son. We live 6+ hours away from the store, but it was worth the time and the drive.

Carlos is the bomb!! I am new to Nashville (and playing guitar) and was looking for a used acoustic, and I got the shop recommended to me by a local friend. Carlos came up to me and helped me pick out one that fit all of my needs, and did it in an awesome and personable way. I was nervous going in, but I knew I made the right decision going out. He deserves some recognition! I definitely will be back in the future.

I’ve come here for misc guitar accessories over the years and the staff is always overly accommodating and kind. They have a good selection of beginner to moderate price range instruments, and are knowledgeable and helpful people.

The people at NUNM have always been easy going and good to deal with every time Ive gone in, whether I was just looking or buying. Thats why they were my first thought when my son asked for a keyboard for his birthday. I went in looking for an entry level keyboard for my sons birthday and Paul helped me find exactly what I needed without trying to upsell me. Ill keep coming back, as will my entire family.

Bought several items from this store and have always been happy with the price and service. They dont get the fifth star 🌟 because theyre very stingy on offers to buy. I completely understand needing to make a profit and/or having wiggle room when I come in to buy... But at least be more generous than the pawn shops.

I have dealt with these guys numerous times and always had a good experience. Recently there was some confusion over the price they put on a used guitar I sold them. I had posted about it publicly just expressing my confusion. Jayme from Nashville Music responded and promised to look into it. As promised he called me the very next day and left me a voicemail. The issue was just an honest mistake and was resolved right away.The store is great and so is the staff. Jayme followed up and that shows they are concerned with doing the right thing or correcting a mistake.

I love these guys. Great shop and personnel. used music stores are not this good, but this one gets marks. school instruments to Marshall Stacks to drum gear etc. some great deals inside this brick and mortar.

I started shopping here when Tusculum Music closed. They have good selection and decent prices. My only complaint is that the last few times I went, I felt very rushed to make my purchases. I ended up leaving empty handed twice for this reason. The staff usually had no problems with helping me when I would come in with my mom back in the day, however.

Superior to the rest. Love them. Best prices by far. If it is cheaper theres a reason. For everyone from beginner to collector. Quality of used items maybe better than new. All customized with pride. Awesome staff. No pressure knowledgeable helpful they make it easy. Costo shout out. Zero affiliation just that good.

Ive been going here for 10 years or more with mixed emotions. The last couple years have been exceptional with staff, gear and selection. I recently had a guitar set up and it was almost half the cost of some other bozo in town and a better set up. Quality guys that provide a great service to the Nolensville Rd. area. Plus great selection of my favorite acoustic guitars, Martin. Keep up the great work and thanks for helping us working musicians out!

Shelton did a wonderful job on my almost-30 year old 12-string. He fixed the neck, the frets - gave it a buff - at a REMARKABLE rate. And he was super kind - even put Martin strings on my baby! Id rate them/him 10 stars if I could. The manager, Costo Davis, was extremely nice & even carried the guitar to the car for me. Theres no place like this one.

What a cool place! I took my grandsons here. They are both into guitars. They loved the vibe of it. The staff is awesome. They let the boys play the guitars to their hearts content. My youngest grandson purchased a baritone ukulele. Very cool! We will definitely go back!

Good choices but some gear are barely less expensive than the original price. Would choose to purchase through marketplace for a used gear or Sweetwater to get the best price for a new instrument and get a warranty.

Great music store. I had a lovely time conversing with the workers and got to test out a few instruments (flutes). They have a wide selection for woodwinds and are actually willing to help you find the right instrument for you.

I play a viola. Though they have more guitar options and band instruments, they have good quality instruments and services. They also have a lot of ukuleles. They guys that work their are great though and encourage that you try out an instrument before you buy it.

I bought my first Martin guitar with them today. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and nice, going above and beyond for customer experience. They were able to match a price found online. This will be my #1 stop for music products going forward. No doubt.

They have a pretty decent bass selection, especially mid-range gear. The staff was welcoming and completely cool with handling the instruments. Theyre basses all had a decent action set up.
