This place has a great selection. I cannot give 5 stars though due to the very high prices. Not competitive at all with the produce prices.

Ive been in here a few times. Though they do have a nice selection of products to choose from the staff doesnt seem to friendly and helpful except for the african american lady. Everyone else is in neutral.

I love this place. It’s like the anti- Trader Joe’s. Super calm and enjoyable to shop. The staff is very nice too. Tons of selection with plenty of vegan products for me and my family. They also have a great vitamin/supplement section.

LOVE this Turnip location and the staff. The staff has never been anything but helpful, generous, and kind since the moment I first went into Turnip. Love the location and all the amazing vegan products that are offered as well. Such an amazing addition to the west side of town, looking forward to my next visit!

This is my go to neighborhood grocery store, I am here maybe a little too often and I wouldn’t have it any other way :) The staff is always so friendly. They have a really great selection of vegan options and I’m always finding fun new stuff to try! They are simply the best. See you soon Turnip!

Rude staff every time I’ve shopped here. Gave an employee the “hello” nod today. He made eye contact with me, gave zero response, then pulled out his phone to “fake” a very pressing text. Awesome, awesome customer service at this joint (insert sarcasm). You’d figure that if this place is going to price gouge every item, they’d at least do it with smiles on their faces.When they get busy…plan on watching 2 check out clerks hustle, while the other employees play on their phones in the customer service booth or just talk with each other oblivious to the world around them.Selection of vegan items would be mediocre at best and grossly overpriced. Their pre-made items are tasty…but again…overpriced.Fruits and veggies are high quality, but check your receipts to make sure you are being charged correctly for what you are putting in your cart or basket.

THE MEAT selection is fab, smoothies made to order. I worry about higher prices due to so much local sourcing, but they are comparable.AND delicious. Lets keep them busy on Charlotte.

We visited your store yesterday. The store was clean and the young lady stocking the bakery was very pleasant . HOWEVER, there were 2 women behind the deli and it took them more than 25 minutes to make 3 wraps. We were the only customers at the time.

I love this place, although it seems a bit pricey. They have a lot of the special items that I really want, so I am grateful that there is a store near us now!

As a vegan, its not always easy to find all those products we look for in one place, and even if you like variety as a vegetarian, this place is amazing. They offer a huge variety of fresh vegetables, plus all sorts of other products to make healthy cooking a reality. And they also have products for non-vegans, but what is impressive is the amount of stuff for vegans in one place... and at very good prices.

If youre looking for a grocer with TRUE, LOCAL brands from TRUE, LOCAL ARTISANS, this is the place. I used to be in farmers markets with a lot of these brands when they were first getting started, and let me tell you, their food is GOOD!I really miss their open food bar. Going in there and grabbing a to go box was EVERYTHING. But with a pandemic and all ..... Yeah. I really hope theyre able to bring it back at some point though. That was a total banger

Make sure you are not in a hurry. Has a lot off items to look at and the staff is generally unhurried.

Wish they had a larger selection, but its a good place

I appreciate that this place exists and I love that it’s always empty but there a few things that make it so that it’s just not worth it. The lack of selection, haphazard pickup packing, and high prices are together a deal-breaker. Almost everything is at least one or two dollars more expensive than at Whole Foods or Kroger and the selection is smaller. I love supporting small businesses and definitely queer-friendly ones - but I just can’t afford to get so much less food for the same amount of money. Also, when I order online they throw all of my produce, raw meat, cans, and everything together completely randomly. This is a basic golden rule of groceries and it’s totally unprofessional. Lastly - their website is a mess! It has practically no information/description on most products and the photos are blurry. Also, the quantity situation is completely unacceptable. I pressed the plus + button 4 times for green peppers and 3 times for orange. I got 2 of each. So basically it’s whatever the shopper decides you’re going to get. Oy!

This is a great place for people with a lot of allergies who don’t want to be overwhelmed with a large grocery store!

First time visiting here. Loved the atmosphere and selection of things. I got a steak, some greens and some other stuff. Very friendly staff. Especially the butcher guys in the back. Will be back!

Spacious and clean store, great selection of body/personal care items. I came in to get some ECOS laundry detergent and was pleasantly surprised that it was on sale for $6.99 (50 oz bottle). I stood in the aisle with the soaps and moisturizers for way too long. 😊

Who asked if you want your receipt? It’s a given. Most grocery staffs have always asked if you’d like your receipt in the bag or handed to you. I cannot even see the items charges to dispute than I have been over charged and I came to this place a long time ago at its one location in the gulch, this isn’t a coffee shop, and I know I overpaid for 5 pieces of vegetables items ranging from 1.99 to 2.99 per bundle—yet I paid $70 for small batches of produces. I normally paid $30 to $40 worth of produce here to cook for one person. Train your staff on giving the customer their receipts in the bag or handed to them.

This is the best grocery store in Nashville! Turnip Truck is unique in its sourcing of locally grown foods, and almost everything is organic. The staff are all super friendly too. Shopping there really has a better vibe than the other nearby grocery stores.

Nice store. Might be the biggest of them all. Nice selection and some decent sales. Staff picks are hit or miss. How someone could pick burning tree bacon over Broadbents is beyond me. They got the thicc steaks. Gonna get one someday.

I love the vibe in this store. They carry so many things that I havent been able to find anywhere else or things that other stores have stopped selling (GTs Cocoyo, Vital Wheat Gluten, etc.) They even have vegan cupcakes in their bakery section. The smoothie bar is great too!

It has good sushi, and alot of its stuff atleast seems, if not is fresh. Ill be a regular there.

They have so much oat milk. i love oat milk. it is delicious and has lots of protein and fiber. my favorite kind is oatly, which is also the staff favorite. drink oat milk! and get it from turnip truck, because they have lots of it.
