I had a craving for fresh fruit and was told to come to this place. It was well worth it. Not only were the prices good but the staff is very nice and the snacks are delicious.

WOW what an amazing hidden gem for ice cream. If you come here, get their gansito flavor! So much ice cream for ~$5!! The prices were different than their menus said, but it was so delicious and so much that I didn’t care at all. I will definitely be a regular customer here from now on!Edit: still amazing. Their gansito is so good (it’s a Mexican candy/cake with ice cream). Their mango and passion fruit sorbets are amazing as well with pieces of dried fruit in it!

Bought an agua de horchata. Taste nothing but cinnamon. Asked to get a small one of another flavor and they told me I had to buy it. Threw away the horchata one I bought and paid for another fresas one. Horrible service.

Oh, the delights that await you in this frozen dessert dreamland! Frozen aqua fresca! At least 30 varieties of paletas, or popsicles, made from cream or water. Fresh fruit is everywhere. The colors of the store are like some pop Japanese oasis landed on Nolensville Road. Definitely recommend!

I have been here several times since Baskin Robbins closed down the street. The first time I went in, I was greeted with a modern and spotless ice cream parlor. The variety of flavors made my head spin. I dont know how many, but if Baskin Robbins had 2 cases of ice cream flavors, this place had 5! An assorted of the regular stuff youd expect, then a plethora of tropical flavors as well as many I had never heard of. I tried the passion fruit and WOW!!! WHAT AN EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR IN MY MOUTH!!! Lets just say that I was very disappointed when my cup was empty! If all the flavors taste like that, it should be dubbed the best parlor in Nashville!I do have a suggestion for the owner. Please branch out to make ice cream cakes! I wanted to get one for my dads birthday, but you dont make them. Too bad! Your ice creams would make great party desserts!

Tried this place after a craving for paletas hit. Huge selection of ice creams, paletas, and other amazing treats. I got a scoop each of coco agua and strawberry sorbet (both dairy free!) and I was thrilled. My husband’s strawberry cheesecake ice cream was very good as well. There is no air conditioning, but the line moved fairly quickly and the treats were well worth the wait!

So delicious! Even the small fruit cups are like a full size meal. Highly recommended! It’s in a cute little shopping center with a little supermarket and next to a gas station.

Good, homemade, authentic ice cream. If you dont speak Spanish, you might feel intimidated, but it is alright. Come get some ice cream. My friend tried, but ended up just pointing and he got the right stuff. Its good ice cream and though its a little expensive, you wont find a better authentic place than this. They also have a host of other items, but seeing as I did not get any of that, I cannot speak to it.

Snacks are great, service is good and clean environment . But none of their locations have A/C ... too freaking hot. Have been to the location by the zoo... no AC, the one inside the global mall.. no AC and the one by Haywood lane. No AC. Makes it impossible to sit down and enjoy.

Staff was pretty unhelpful. Food was good. I speak fluent Spanish and spoke to them all in Spanish (what if I didnt know Spanish). Also their menu (normally displayed on TVs behind the register) was not displayed and they didnt even have a menu for me to look at. When I asked questions about what they had they looked at me like I was stupid.

This place has exotic flavors. Most of which are made by themselves and include real fruits. Plus they sell a variety of different treats all showcasing things from Latino America

The ice cream is wonderful, there are many different options. Many cultural differences from your typical American ice cream parlor, which is refreshing and fun. You can ask to sample the different flavors in the freezer cases. Service tends to be quite slow, so budget for that time.

Sunday wasnt really empty, spent over 30 minutes in line to order and then again another line to pay, really they need to improve their efficiency, product was ok, menu was overwhelming I didnt know what to order by the time it was my turn, the wait wasnt really worth, parking lot was crazy full that day.So yeah, I will encourage you to give it a try, do not take my word for, that was just my experience in a crowded Sunday.

The ice cream was good, not bad. The thing that brought my experience down is the customer service. 2 employees on May 21st were rude, impatient, and gave attitudes when they were asked about the variety of ice cream.

Ice Cream was delicious. The customer service is not that great though. I went on a Friday so it was super busy, which I understand, but one of the female employees was very rude whenever I asked what the mangonadas had. She looked at me as if I was dumb. Several places make it differently so I was just wanting to know. No need to take the pressure out on me.

This place had a good size crowd, close the Nashville Zoo, mangonada is a great option!

It true hidden Jim Wright in South Nashville. Pretty busy spot but the line moves quicklyGrab your dates and come out and get some ice cream :-)

The authentic Mexican ice cream shop, if you really want try a Mexican ice cream and other Mexican desserts, you have to go! La Michoacana is the best.

Paid over 20 dollar for some chips that were not worth it also got some fresas con crema and I got handed a cup with whole strawberries soaked in milk there was nothing creamy about it honestly not worth my money couldve donde better at home for cheaper.

Terrible. They charged 12.00 for carne asada when the menu said 11.00 . Around the corner there is a truck that sells the same for 8.00

If I could rate this a 0 I would. I have continuously tried to give this place a chance. Dissapoinment every time. The rice ice cream is stale. The chicharones are not always fresh and sometimes burned. The agua de chia is not consistent and sometimes is just water or biter. So many more negative trips that would not fit here and today we got here at 9pm and they were already closed. There hours are said to be 10am - 10pm. When I called a young lady answered the phone and I asked the hours and she said supposed to be 10am - 10pm but when we work we close at 9pm because we have school. School is not open tomorrow and even if it was they should at least have someone who is going to stay all night till the time they close. If not change the hours and you wont have problem. Dont think I will ever go back and wont recommend to anyone either.

I was ignored for reasons unknown maybe skin color but the attendant acted as though I were invisible and literally skipped me and asked the next I in line what they would like so I just politly walked out without ordering and despite visiting the michoacana in Clarksville daily for 2 months I will never return to this particular store and I will be reporting the girl that refused to serve me I was the only American in the store so I feel if they dont want to serve Americans they shouldnt have a business in America and I am not prejudice by no means but was treated very cruel

So I come here every so often so get Horchata, ice cream with my boys, or even one of the snacks. Never really had an issue. Not so much an issue of quality of food but of service. However yesterday was a different story. I went in with a co-worker and wanted to try one of their tortas. The lady who attended us had an attitude from the start, almost as if she had no desire to be there. I asked her for what I wanted waited patiently. As I watched her make it, she put it together rather sloppily. She kind of just threw the lettuce, onions, jalapenos, and tomatoes up there and didnt care how it looked. Her attempt to slice it in half basically smashed it down and half of the ingredients practically came out. Now, I would have let this slide but I asked for 2 Horchatas. After she slammed that onto the counter, she then proceeded to charge me incorrectly. She charged me for 2 tortas and 1 Horchata (which added $5 to my total). Money is not an issue for me. Her attitude? Distasteful.
