If I could give you all zero stars, I would. You don’t deserve even one star. The was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I went to this shop on Thursday to purchase balloons for my 30TH birthday photoshoot which I was so excited to use their services because they claim to be professionals. I placed the order on Thursday, August 19th for pickup on Saturday, August 21st. The balloons were supposed to read “GROWN AF” for my 30th birthday. I spent $350 on balloons and by the time I got to the photoshoot (which was 20 minutes away from the pickup location) three of the seven balloons were completely deflated (as seen in the picture). I was unable to use the balloons. Because I was paying for my photographer’s time, I was unable to call right then and place a complaint. I called when I got home to let the owner know what happened and instead of issuing an apology and trying to fix it (I didn’t even ask for a refund, I asked for some type of resolution), the manager or “balloon specialist decided to place blame and insist that unfortunately there was nothing she could do. As a person who owns her own service-based business, I can assure you that there’s always something that can be done, whether it’s another order of balloons or a gift card, something could have been done. I had no problem finding a resolution that would have worked for both parties but instead the owner would rather place blame and not try to find a resolution that would have worked for the both of us. She even told me that some of the balloons (the R in particular), were inflated two days in advance before I picked them up (which is not abnormal, but could be the reasoning for why that particular letter deflated so quickly.) For $350, I could’ve had better service at Party City. I will never return to this establishment and you all should learn proper customer service and how to find amicable solutions for your paying customers. Especially during a pandemic where there are cheaper (and better) options. This was a terrible customer experience and you all are operating under piss poor management who could use a class or two on how to operate a business with integrity. If you’re looking for party favors, you’re better off going to Party City. It’s cheaper with better customer service.

This place deserves zero stars. They don’t answer the phone, and after you’ve given them your money they do not care about you. You will receive better customer service at party city where the company holds their employees to a higher moral and quality standard. Save yourself the hassle and go to a big business for your design/ balloon/and decorating needs.

Absolutely terrible service. These people are so full of themselves it is laughable. First of all, they do not answer the phone. So you have to leave a message. Then play phone tag until a stylist is available to call you back. They act like they are doing you a favor providing the product you paid for. Extremely rigid and unaccommodating about pick up times. They will assign you a time. Forget it if that doesnt work for you. When I could not make it to pick up my order, I was told I would be charged a $15 holding fee to keep the balloon overnight. LOL, how ridiculous. Left messages on my phone demanding that I call them back immediately, despite the fact that I had texted them that I would not be able to make it at the assigned pick up time. Their product is lovely but never again.

I ordered a gift box for my friends birthday present. I gave the Harlan Ruby team a few details about my friend and they put together the PERFECT gift box for her. Each item was chosen with such care, I dont think I could have picked better items if I tried. I will definitely be ordering more gift boxes in the future.

An amazing, colorful party store in East Nashville. They have balloons, stationery, cute gifts, jewelry, Turkish towels, a DIY jump rope bar, party decor, fun drinkware and so much more! A lot of the products are designed and produced in-house. Its like Los Angeles in Nashville. LOVE IT!!! Also, all female-owned and operated :)

Phenomenal service and the attention to detail on every order is always superb. Ive ordered numerous times and I have never been disappointed.They are also great about taking your vision and bringing it to life. Sunny, Fiona, and Tonya sre true gems!

I bought a puzzle for my mom for Mother’s Day from Harlan Ruby. I was so impressed by their gift wrap and the hand-written note they sent along with the gift packaging. Thank you for the special touch! Will keep this shop in mind for later purchases. 👏

Probably the best spot I can think of to find unique gifts for hard-to-shop for people. I can always find a gift that speaks to a friends personality quirk that makes them feel seen.

Very adorable store in the heart of East Nashville - however the staff was not knowledgeable. Upon entering, I asked whether they offered gift wrapping and was met with mixed answers. For the record they do not offer it. Instead of the gift wrapping service, I was rudely instructed to pick out a gift bag (tissue paper not included)I do love the gift bag and the paper, I simply wish the staff was friendlier, more approachable and on the same page about the services offered.

NEVER AGAIN!! Read the horrible customer service reviews!I called on Monday to book 5ft tall balloon letters for an event for October 5th. Someone took my information and let me know they would have someone call me back that afternoon or Tuesday. No call back. I called again. NO CALL BACK. I had to call three more times just to get a stylist to confirm my order. The balloons were $250 a piece. We wanted to do a name or initials. So our order couldve easily totaled $1,200. After an entire week of chasing this company down and initiating almost every interaction. They told me they needed a $500 down payment. I called to give them the down payment. Today is Friday, they said they could no longer do it because they just got a huge order in. So they are dropping my small order of $1,200 for a bigger event.It was handled so poorly. I worked all week trying to get their attention and business. NEVER AGAIN. Incredibly disappointed. I had no idea a small business would treat someone like that. I have been following them from the beginning, not anymore. I wont be recommending them to anyone. Seems like they’ve forgotten where they came from... too big for their britches judging by so many horrible customer service reviews.

I love coming into the gift shop because the staff is so nice! They never fail to put a smile on your face, no matter what kind of day you might have walked in with. I also love how they will gift wrap your purchases.

I’ve ordered balloons from VroomVroom 5 or 6 times and have never had a bad experience. Fiona and her team are so helpful and patient even when you’re like me and very indecisive and sometimes not totally sure what you want. I’ve always been very happy with my balloons except for my last order - the colors I picked just didn’t come together like I hoped. They went above and beyond to help me pick some new colors and made sure I was 100% happy with it. These balloons are not cheap and I appreciate that they remember that and work hard to help you get what you want and make sure you are happy with the final product. Also, I have a jumbo confetti balloon that is 15 months old. That’s 450 days! It lays on the ground super deflated and wrinkly but I’m super impressed it has lasted this long. Buy the damn balloons - you won’t be disappointed!!

Worst customer service ever! Save your money or take your business elsewhere. In the past two weeks I have spent $400 for two balloon bouquets + deliveries ( $40 delivery is the only option right now even though Davidson county retail opened as of May 11th) + delivery tip. One of the balloon bouquets that I purchased was deflated less than 3 days after it was delivered (not sure how many days in advance it was created and delivery was not received until 2pm so not sure how long it was in the van being exposed to in-climate conditions). When I inquired about this issue their response was that the lifespan of 3 days was adequate for a $210.00 balloon bouquet. (I have purchased two other balloon bouquets from them which have lasted over a month). Their response left me floored. Vroom Vroom Balloon has only been able to stay afloat during this pandemic thanks to individuals like myself and others who have continued to give them business during this time. And how do Fiona and Sunny repay their loyal customers? They tell us that they won’t even partially refund us or make us a new balloon free of charge. Fiona and Sunny I suggest you read up on what it means to provide quality customer service, because you both have clearly failed.

I worked with a woman to determine what balloons fit what I was looking for and within my budget over several days. When I called to order, I had to leave a message. They did not return my phone call until 3:30 the next day only to inform me that I would not be able to pick up my order on the day I needed it, but, in fact, had to pick it up 3 days before my event because of a corporate order taken after I tried to place my order. Of course most balloons dont last that long so they suggested their largest balloon, which I had already discussed with them, was well outside my budget.

I ordered a simple balloon for my baby niece’s 6 month photoshoot one month in advance. (One balloon)I needed special accommodations the morning of, and requested to have it ready a bit earlier. I walked in as soon as they opened, 4 hours prior to the time of scheduled pick up.The staff were the LEAST accommodating customer service reps I’ve ever worked with in my entire life. No empathy, rude, talking in circles, not listening or responding to my actual need. Promised that it would be done before 2pm and that they’d call. Didn’t hear a word, nor any mention of my request when I went to pick it up. The balloon was ready too late for the photos - which I explained and the rep still said, “Today is such a nice day for photos”. Talk about slap in the face, and just awful customer service.No question that they’re product is good. However, the service was so bad, I will NEVER order from them again.

Ordered a $80 gender reveal balloon. The helium lasted less than 24 hours. I had multiple conversations with the owner on how the balloon would not be used for 30 hours after pickup.. While, she was very nice. She did not inform me the balloon would be on the ground the next morning. She happily took my money. After calling up the store the next morning to talk to the owner, she gave me additional information that may have helped the balloon. Too late now! Now, I could have gotten the same balloon on amazon for $3.50 that lays on the ground.

AH-MAZING! The “Cheers to David” balloon was beyond wonderful. THANK YOU! The balloon had been delivered and placed at our restaurant table prior to our arrival. Definitely set the fun mood for the entire evening!!!

Vroom Vroom Balloon put together some balloon centerpieces for my bride and groom’s rehearsal dinner, with a personalized mega balloon! It was a fun, colorful addition. As an added bonus, we used the balloons at the wedding the next day to frame the photo booth. Absolutely perfect.

I was interested in the balloon Garland I had previously seen on their Instagram but it didnt turn out it the way it should have. I was disappointed but took it anyway. When the owner went into the shop and found out, she called me to make it right. The owner personally re-made the Garland and drove it out to us to make sure we had it for the event. The issue was with training new employees and the owner went above and beyond to make it right. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to using then again.
