This place lives up to its name, right down to the proprietor with the handlebar mustache! The coffee tasted great. I didnt know they sold cigars when I walked in; that was an awesome and pleasant surprise! I walked out with two cigars and a coffee. Dont worry, there was no smoking inside, so dont let that stop you from walking in. Definitely give this place a try when youre in Natchez!
Awesome place tucked away down town! Coffee was Great! Customer service top notch.
Great experience! Nice little vibe. Staff was friendly. However...As an inexperienced coffee drinker I wish I would’ve gotten a little bit more understanding with knowing about the types of drinks.
I have celiac disease and these guys were great. The chef brought out my plate and came out after I was finished, making sure I was satisfied and let me know that he even made it vegan. Im not personally vegan, but my boyfriend is, so it was a nice surprise! The latte was strong and great. My bf got the Turkish coffee, another perfectly made drink.
Really cosy coffee bar that has their beans roasted somewhere on a small scale. They used to do it themselves, but they didnt really have the space anymore. Really good coffee taste, and a very pleasant place to drink it. It also has an outside terrace where you can sit back, relax, and drink a good cup of Joe!
Went in had a Macchiato! Selection was good flavor was amazing. Building had beautiful historical look. Plus a great cigar selection. Tables outside to enjoy both! If youre a local of just passing through! Take the time to stop by well worth it!
The redesign is amazing! Great spot to check out and #1 in the area. You can see the passion for coffee, chocolate, and cigars as soon as you walk in. Papi y Papi gives you the feeling that you are at home with friends chatting over some amazing brew. Widest variety and highest quality of products. My latte was perfect with no added flavor or sugar. They have lots of vegan options! Check out Papi y Papi while you are in town- you will love it!!
Very nice environment. Good workers that treat every customer that Ive seen great. The coffee is very nice and overall the entire establishment is unique and calm.
Love this place! Wonderful coffee served in a historic building.
Its not just coffee. They have a great cigar selection.
Great place to visit and have a coffee and, if you wish, a cigar. A great selection of antiques as well as modern espresso and cigar accessories. In the corner is a rustic humidor room with a decent little selection of cigars.Safe travels
GREAT dark roast coffee - I really enjoyed the Papua New Guinea and Sumatra beans that I picked up when I was visiting Natchez. Support small businesses and local coffee roasters! All coffee fans that are planning to be in the Natchez area should have Steampunk on their must visit list.
Preface: This is absolutely the best coffee shop in Natchez. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and the venue is nice.Now... With that being said, their beans are burnt... Like the hue of the midnight sky kinda burnt. They roast their own beans, so they have complete control over this, but their apparent preference is to turn the beans basically into charcoal. They have a nice selection of flavors to attempt to compensate, but if they didn’t burn their beans to a crisp then you would probably need less sugar to make up the difference. I understand that there’s a dark roast and French roast, but they could be getting a significantly better flavor in all of their drinks if the beans were roasted a bit lighter. I’m only in Natchez once every few months or so, and when I saw that they renovated I thought their coffee was going to get an upgrade too. But it’s not too late!
This is place was DELICIOUS - the Cuban atmosphere is fun and the Latte was sooooooo good!! We each got a coffee, I had a Vanilla Iced Latte and he had a cold brew with creme. SO GOOD.
Dark and rich coffee. Cool looking merch
Two thumbs up for a good espresso. Owner operated and friendly service. We had a tasty, properly brewed and served espresso. True coffee folks. Place is pleasant to enjoy your coffee.
They were closed unfortunately but we sat in their window while awaiting our bus.
This place is awesome! It has great coffee and a big cigar room with a generous selection. I’ll definitely make it a routine stop.
If you’re looking for an excellent cup of coffee, super courteous staff, and a great atmosphere, this is your place! I’m from out of town but will definitely stop back in here next time I’m in Natchez.
First time visit and we love it! From inviting atmosphere, owner was Awesome! The espresso shots to the selection of cigars....excellent!
Strong coffee and excellent service.
Just fabulous! The whole experience. My daughter and I visited during the Balloon Festival this past Sunday. We are so happy we found this lil cozy spot. All staff made it very pleasant. The coffee is out of this world :p A must if you are in the area. Peace!
My favorite local coffee hangout. Great service, conversation and cigars. I do miss the crepes, which they served at previous location.
Cool place, has gourmet coffees and teas, walk-in humidor and beer!
Lovely coffee bar. They have a little bit of everything. These folks know what theyre doing.
Nice people, quaint atmosphere, great coffee.Very glad I found this shop. Also cigars and candy.
The Brazilian brew and espresso were delicious. Service was wonderful, friendly staff.
Craft coffee and cigar Cafe with a great aesthetic, impossible for a hipster like me to not enjoy it
Great environment and shop
Always yummy and very friendly service. Lattes are amazing and strong espresso is used. They also have wonderful tea options and the food especially the options on Saturday and Sunday are Divine-!
Great experience overall! Right when we walked in, the gentleman named Rudy gave us water, a free sample of chocolate espresso beans. The iced coffee was so smooth and nutty. The smoothie was the best Ive had. Really cute atmosphere!! Love it and loved Rudy!
Kind people! cool shop. Average latte.
Great coffee and service
Incredibley detailed interior that is not obvious from the outside. Brass coffee brewing equipment is quite unique and fun, and makes excellent espresso! We arrived just after they closed their kitchen, but the chef was very kind to prepare a mushroom crepe for my wife. It was amazing!A must see shop if you are visiting in the Natchez area! Great food, coffee, and service.
Lovely Friday morning breakfast and great coffee and tea. Service was so friendly and welcoming and a wonderful historic building too. The quiche and muffins were excellent!
Absolutely delightful! It was my favorite little spot out off all the amazing places we visited in Natchez. The staff went above and beyond! Will definitely be back when we visit Natchez again. Rudy was a huge help and he made me the best latte Ive ever had.
The customer service here is wonderful!! The employees are well informed on their product and they are great at making suggestions when youre not quite sure what it is youre wanting. On top of that, everyone they have staffed there is inviting and willing to make conversation with you or leave you alone if thats what you want! They really know their stuff and make you feel like youre having your coffee with family first thing in the morning!
Great coffee and service. They roast the coffee beans and are knowledgeable about the coffee. I purchased the Sumatra Mandheling Dark Roast. I was given a sample, so that I knew what I was purchasing. Also I tried the Brazilian Cheese Bread...very good...fluffy and warm. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed in Natchez for a couple of days. Boondocking in our motorhome at the visitors center. Steampunk was such a lovely find for us. The coffee is amazing. The muffins and Brazilian cheese bread fantastic. Best of all were the owners, staff and townspeople that mad us feel right at home. Dont miss this place!
Love this place! One of the most delicious fragrant teas Ive ever had.Super friendly baristas.
Good service, love rustic and comfortable atmosphere. Coffee was good. Will be sure to drop by next time Im in Natchez. Pet friendly: dogs are welcome!
Excellent coffee shop—one of the best in Mississippi! We came in at the end of the day and there was huge crowd. Even still, we were served quickly and the staff were all very kind!
I recently spent an entire afternoon in The Steampunk Coffee Roasters in glorious Natchez, Mississippi and i must say it was the time of my life. As a former Coffee House owner steeped in the traditions of New Orleans I can verify that this small town establishment is first rate. The people who work there are delightful and professional and the ambiance is beautiful as it is housed in an ancient Freedmans cabin of national importance. The founders of this establishment absolutely had the right idea and their passion for the business has passed into all of the wonderful adorably cute people who work there! I cant say enough about this place and everyone should know a trip to Natchez is incomplete without stopping in. To the lovely Robert, Miranda, Conner, Rudy, Micah, Miss O, and of course Janice of The Castle, thank you for being so welcoming and allowing me to feel like I sit at that bar everyday. All my love and well wishes, Kevin Wiggs New Orleans, LA
This place is a must to visit in Natchez! Hands Down,Best Coffee in Town.
What an awesome little coffee shop inside an old historic house. Loved the layout inside, and especially their vintage espresso machine. The staff was very friendly, and the iced latte I got was incredibly delicious. Its obvious that this is a local favorite (and everyone is so friendly) Several patrons came up to the bar and had casual conversation with the baristas, as well as my group... one of them being the bartender (or owner) of Kings Tavern. Just an all-around friendly group of people.
Very good coffee! Great atmosphere. I think some of the employees may be hippies or at least look a little hippieish, but their coffee is really good... Please like ;-)
Wow. Just wow. Since it wasnt insanely busy we were able to do a flight of their different coffees and we didnt have a single average or below coffee. Our barista also explained what flavors we should be tasting, as well as just providing overall knowledge of coffee. I live two hours away and I WILL be back.
Great little place for espresso. We stopped during a road trip and the visit was so memorable we had to stop on the way back too! Great service, the employees here are wonderful! A+
This little coffee shop is fabulous! The staff was super friendly & extremely helpful. The ambiance is awesome and full of character. Definitely worth a stop if you love coffee!
Very personal awesome kind people... oo an the coffee is fantastic
The only real coffee shop in Natchez. Barristas are well trained. Espresso shots are near perfect. Flavor profile is a little on the dark side. Probably not my exact preference, but I wouldnt fault them at all. Wonderful people, wonderful coffee.
Fun place. Friendly staff. Really good coffee. Good place for a light breakfast. Quiche was perfect.
The staff was rude and the coffee is not worth the price
Ive had coffee all across the globe. You can get it as good as Steampunk but you wont find better. I would have never expected this high quality in Natchez, Mississippi. Exceptional.
Always a cool place to go get some coffee and pastries. Not bitter, but strong excellent brew.
Great local feel-good coffeehouse. Try great items on the menu to try that you won’t find anywhere else.
This is one of the best coffee shops that I have been in. The cappuccino was much better than ones we get in the major coffee chain. The artistic barristers were practicing making designs with the milk on the cappuccino and produced some fantastic designs.
I love it. Staff is nice AF and the place is cozy. Tea is amazing and so is the food
This is a fun and funky Cafe, with a great atmosphere and terrific coffee. On nice days, you can sit outside and enjoy a brew and some great food. I took the opportunity to have a Turkish coffee, which Ive never had before, and really enjoyed it. I think the house brew was a little weak, but it did have good flavor. The Frankenberry crepe is also worth the visit. I picked up some chocolate covered espresso beans, which come in a prescription bottle. Great idea! And, they taste great too.
Steampunk Coffee is the best place ever. The coffee is great! The folks are super.Dont forget to visit the cool restroom
Strong, delicious coffee tucked away in downtown Natchez with personable owners and baristas.
I love this place! It is my favorite place to go and spend time with my friends. As the 2016 Concordia Parish Student of the Year, I advise anyone who enjoys coffee and a peacefull atmosphere to go to Steampunk Coffee Roasters. If you happened to read the Natchez Democrat a few weeks ago you already know how much I love this place.
Went there after meeting the owner Dub Rogers at another Natchez establishment with high expectations...unfortunately Dub wasnt there and the young man who waited on us couldnt care less if we were happy or not. My better halfs latte was luke warm, we had to ask twice for her brownie bite and in general felt that since we werent the young hipsters (that were there and received golden service) we were just passing through and of no account...customer service needs critical attention.
Very comfy atmosphere. EXCELLENT service, super friendly staff willing to do anything to give customers a good experience.Very welcoming.
Awesome! Love the place, the people, and the coffee! Theyre moving to Franklin Street soon, so if you get there and the building is closed, head a few blocks south and see them there!
Loved the people and the atmosphere. Our server was friendly and had many stories to keep us entertained. A real nice vibe... Coffee is good too!!!
Absolutely the best coffee in town. Chef Dub and Charlotte were so hospitable. I truly enjoyed it!
I was passing through Natchez and desperately needed a cup of coffee. Found them on Google Maps. Just a few minutes off of the highway and well worth the trip. Excellent coffee and excellent service.
Beautiful people and the best coffee Ive ever had, anywhere. 6/5 stars. If youre in Natchez and you need a coffee, this place is the place to be.
Small coffee house with a plethora of choices for brewing and preparing your coffee. Some in-house varieties (sourced from elsewhere of course) with plenty of choices to keep you coming back. There shouldnt be a long wait at any time. The owner is more than happy to show you how the different equipment works or to give a casual history of the area.
Great place for coffee.
Excellent coffee and friendly staff. Cool decor. Will definitely come again the next time were in town.
What an amazing place! The decor is cool, the staff are super nice and they make amazing coffee. This was the first place on the south that knew what a flat white was and how to make it. To top it all off, we saw a Momma cat and her kittens in the field behind the coffeeshop.
Excellent coffee. Best coffee we have experienced in USA to date. Only disappointment is coffee is served in paper cups. This certainly distracts from the coffee.
Coolest coffee place in town. Near the bluff of the Mississippi River in an old Natchez renovated building. The staff are well versed baristas and an atmosphere that only a river town can offer.
