I called, told them exactly what i wanted, and they quoted me a price.When I dropped off my truck, I spoke with a lady. She said that she had what I wanted written down in the office. I verified that the instructions were correct on her Notepad.It took them twice as long as they said it would, and I had to pay more than they originally quoted.When I picked up my truck I paid them, the owner was very happy and told me he had made my truck sound exactly like I wanted, and I would be very impressed with his work.I turned my truck on and realised they had not done what we had agreed on, and my truck sounded like a noisy junker, and a quick look under the truck revealed they had not done half the work i paid for. I was not impressed, and my wife and i were really mad.Back inside I went and once again spoke with the owner. He tried to double talk to me for a few minutes, saying what he did was better than what originally agreed to, and he would have to charge me a lot more to do what we agreed to do in the first place.This quickly turned into an argument, when I asked him to return my money and undo his mistake and I will take my business elsewhere. He said he no longer had the parts for my truck, and what it means you pay more then the dealer would charge for the parts he no longer had. it seemed that he sold my old parts to somebody else and charged them full price.I agree to pay the difference and he promised he would do is instructed the first time.I did not hear from him so when I finally returned to his shop he said he had gotten my truck completed.A quick look under the truck and it still was not done.Once again he tried to double talk to me, what the end result was this was the best he could do and if I wasnt happy I could sue him.A quick talk with the lawyer revealed that it would cost twice as much to sue him without any guarantee of getting anything back.Every day since then my wife has reminded me thatmy check engine light stays on, and of how bad the truck sounds, and I almost cant use the truck because it is so loud that when I turn it on it wakes the babies up.

Self confident. No receipt, just wrote the total cost on a business card. Unprofessional. Wasnt interested in customer relations. He does know his repair work.

Scheduled an 11 appointment and drove an hr to get there. Arrived 10 min late. Owner said he couldn’t do it that I’d have to wait until later in the day. Nothing was on the lift and no vehicles waiting to go on. I will never be back. Bad business.

With that being said, Muffex is a wonderful place of business. The men there are cordial and nice. Repair was quick, painless, and if you have any qualms with business or service the owner, Joel (very relatable), is willing to go the extra mile to help. I appreciated the effort and time taken to help me and to fix my vehicle. I highly recommend this establishment!

Dont come here! Go to a dealership I took my wifes car in for a catalytic converter paid $800 and it still sounds like a tank going down road. Be advised not warranty work quality
