Renjeau Galleries restored, cleaned and reframe an oil painting from 1975 and I am beyond thrilled with the job they did. The painting had a varnish on the surface that had browned over time. They painstakingly removed the varnish on this large 50x30 oil painting. I wish I had taken a before photo to show what an incredible job they did! The brought new life to this painting!

I called Rob and the team at Renjeau after a large canvas painting fell and tore. Rob explained the restoration process clearly and the price quoted was certainly fair for the amount of detailed work the repair required. When I went to pick the painting up, I was thrilled to see that the artwork had been returned to its original form. To the blind eye, it is impossible to tell that there had ever been an issue which I genuinely did not think could be done. I was so impressed with the quality of the work that I decided to get the piece custom framed, which Rob and his team expertly helped with. Much like the restoration, the frame is spectacular and has been the perfect addition to the artwork. Renate and her son, Rob, owners of Renjeau Galleries, were great to work with and I highly recommend them for framing. I went in with my oil painting nine days before Christmas, having been told at other local galleries there was no way they could have it done by Christmas. Renate and Rob said they would do their best after helping me chose just the right frame. I wanted a liner plus frame, making it more complicated, but they got it done. It came out better than I could have imagined and my sweetheart was thrilled with his Christmas gift. Plus you should go in just to view their art work, varied and special. You will find it a treat.

I would hardly call this place an art gallery and the image on their website looks nothing like the actual place - which consists of a couple of small rooms with paintings piled up by size; folks in attendance are not friendly either - specially the guy - definitely not a gallery!

If ever I have a special piece of art that needs framing, Renjeau is the first place I think of. I recently needed to reframe a treasured painting and brought it to Renjeau. They have the right combination of expertise, selection, and patience! Rob and the other consultant I worked with had a wonderful eye and were so knowledgeable about different techniques as well as how to mat the piece. It came out gorgeous, as if I had a whole new painting.They also have a great selection of art in A range of prices. My walls are pretty full so I had to look away! A family portrait that my 80 year old father had painted for us was damaged. We were pretty devastated and did not know if it could be repaired, let alone be restored close to the original portrait. I looked online and found Renjeau Galleries. They were very sympathic to my issue and offered to take a look and offer solution options. I got a call a week later with two options for repair, one was significantly less than the other. They did not try to sell me on the most expensive repair, in fact they recommended the lesser option as they felt it would do the job and restore the picture. They very easily could have got me to go with and pay the higher cost option, but they didnt. Highly recommend thier services.

Excellent Service and quality of work repairing a challenging, damaged painting of my mother that was also on a brass platter. It was recovered from Puerto Rico after just having gone through hurricane Maria. They worked diligently on it and had it ready by Christmas. Thank you!
