Excellent local sporting goods shop. They have shiners and bait buckets. Shiners are about $6 a dozen for medium. They also have some really nice special knives. Ask about em they are like $5! Happy fishing!

Very helpful staff, and a well stocked store with all sorts of outdoor supplies, right near downtown Natick with easy access and parking. I bought a canoe, life jackets and paddles. They helped me load up and get on my way quickly.

Great store but it depends a little what youre looking for: fishing section is big including salt water and fresh with lots of fly tying gear, hunting looks good, shoes are ok. Im not a hockey, soccer, or tennis player, but those sections looked big. I think itd be good for car campers but Im more into backpacking these days and that was a little thin. They have a lot of sections for sports beyond what I mention here. Nice folks working there, too, and they know their stuff.

Great store, massive variety. Came in for high tech running socks since Ive been going nuts with a blister, and I was overwhelmed by the options. If they have this many options for SOCKS (bonus - lots of sale items!), youre in good shape for everything else! Its been years since I was an avid camper, but NOS was my go-to then, as well. Its clear they have an enduring presence in the community, and they are committed to providing everything you need for sports, fishing, camping, hiking, you name it!

Anytime I have gone into the Outdoor Store the employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! They also always have my sons size 13 sneakers or boots in stock.

This was my first time coming to the store and I have to say Im absolutely blown away. They have an excellent staff who do not make you feel dumb for asking questions. The hockey sales rep spent time teaching me about gear and showed me around the store. In all, they helped make my purchase. The store has all the gear I could need. The prices are great.

I showed up to this place 5 mins. Before it closed. I was in dyer need of a set of boots. They had my size. I tried them on... well I bought them.. then the next day I returned. For a pair of sneakers.. and inserts for my work boots. The foot department new there stuff. The guys were able to suggest the sole insert. But was unsure til the next day at work... well. I bot them... theyve helped out with the pain in my arches a lot... less arch pain is a good thing...Overall everyone was great... its hard finding a store like this. With the employees.... Id rather shop here. Vs. Buying it from. Amazon. Not knowing if it will fit. Atleast here I can put it on my feet before buying it. .Thanks everyone ☺

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Most of the time they have good selection, both of live and artificial lures, as well as rods and reels. I really like this store because it has some unique products that I would not even know of, if not displayed. They are local, and Id rather buy from them, than faceless Amazon.

Amazing local store!! I needed assistance in getting fishing rods for myself and 2 kids and the folks at NOS were extremely helpful, patient and provided excellent tips. 2 weeks after purchasing the rods, 1 got really badly jammed and I went right in and was back out of the store in 20 minutes with the rod working perfectly again at no additional cost. no problems, no questions asked. I have purchased hockey, baseball and soccer equipment in the past and every department is run perfectly. When in doubt dont go big box, stay and support the local you will certainly find the value!!

Stopped in with a friend who is teaching her 5 year old son to fish. Got some very helpful advice and found the store to have just about anything you could want in the sporting goods world. Enjoyed supporting a smaller local shop over the big box alternative.

Very nice store. Larger than it looks from the outside. had everything I needed and few clever gadgets and useful odds and ends I hadnt thought of. Left my mother-in-laws dog come in and cool off. Very helpful getting my wife some nice moccasins. In the summer they had a very nice selection of outdoor toys and rec for the kids. All around a very nice store with sane prices and local. sweet!

We were in Natick yesterday for the Boston Marathon watching our daughter run the race of her dreams! We parked in the lot and were immediately approached and asked for $10 to park there even though we explained we would only be there for 15-20 minutes to see our daughter pass through on the course and then be on our way. So many businesses along our watching route had such a different attitude - welcoming us to their lots, cheering on the runners and happy to have an event bring so many people to their towns for the weekend. It was a disappointment that a local business felt the need to capitalize in this way versus savor the day and thousands of people (and dollars) the event brought to the area and towns along the storied Boston Marathon route. Such a different attitude than all the other businesses we encountered over the course of the weekend.

The Natick outdoor Store is a friendly local sports goods store. They have many name brands in stock, and the service is amazing. I highly recommend this store if you need goggles, cleats for any sport, shoes, or a soccer uniform if you are from Wayland in the town program (K-8th grade).

I buy all my fly fishing gear almost exclusively through N.O.D.S. They may not have the best prices available but they are comparable to other stores in the area. They have the most extensive fly selections and best priced flies I know of in the area. The older gentlemen who work there are quite knowledgeable regarding fly types and gear necessary to have fun out on the water. I would recommend to any outdoorsman in the region.

Ive been going to the Natick Outdoor Store since before I was playing Tee-ball. I have always had excellent service in the sporting goods and shoe departments, where I spend most of my time when I visit. While I am surprised a small business like this is still operating, I am delightful that it is since I can always get what I need, here. Give this place a visit if youre ever in need of a new pair of hiking boots or a baseball glove.

Fishing selection is VERY GOOD! Best in the metro west! I have been going here since I was 12YRS Old! (Now 17) They can spool reels, give you the best tips, and best of all there prices are not outrageous like other tackle shop! If you need tackle, go to them!

Great fishing selection for everything from offshore to light tackle inshore to surf casting to fly fishing. Both freshwater and salt. They take great care to curate and stock what works in the area.

I called about 25 minutes before they were closing on Friday night and was desperately looking to get woman’s soccer cleats that night since my daughter needed them the next morning for a game. The man in the shoe department (didn’t get his name unfortunately) was exceptionally helpful! We arrived with only 15 minutes before they were closing and he was extremely knowledgeable about the types and brands of cleats and had already checked for her size and had the shoes ready to go for my daughter to try on. He did not rush us at all and provided everything we needed to make our decision. And to top off the amazing service, he gave us such a great deal. I had never been to this store before but you better believe I’m going back for all my shoe needs from now on!
