Elena is pleasant knowledgeable and very helpful. The store collection has great variety of artists and genres!
Went in there and ended up picking out 5 records. Walk up to the counter and the old lady says $10 and I’m like word, but I realize she doesn’t have a card reader and I didn’t have cash so I tell her I’ll go hit up an ATM but she says just take them and pay me next time. I live about an hour away, but I’ll surely make the trip to pay her back and dig some more. Highly recommend.
This is the best record store around!Run by an extremely kind old lady, this store is certainly a gem! The selection was large and was a lot of fun to look through. Most importantly, all of the records have amazing prices! She was even so kind to give me an album for free. Would recommend to any record collector!
Great shop! Records for days; the owner also keeps a binder of customers album wish lists to place aside. Good deals, walked away with great finds at great prices; the more you buy the more you save!
Excellent selection of records. New inventory each time we gone
My dad was a Jazz enthusiast and used to do business with the owner (a very kind woman). After he passed I was looking to sell his records to someone who would appreciate them and happened upon Deja Vu Records. After a phone call with the owner, she met me at the storage unit and remembered my father after I showed her a picture of him. She was reasonable, kind and helpful. She even traveled a distance to look at the albums without knowing the actual quality or me!I highly recommend this business. She brought a lot of joy and tenderness to a very sad and difficult time. If I could give ten stars I would!
Great selection! went in with 40 bucks and came out with gold. the lady is super helpful and sweet
The owner is amazing, she came kept coming out with boxes for me to dig through and I kept coming out with Gold . James Taylors greatest hits, On the radio Donna Summer, Led zeppelin 4, and many many more, she gave me a bulk price of $40, I had much fun going home and putting them on my turntable.....its a little unorganized but thats part of the fun, just digging through boxes and finding gold . Be aware they are cash only, but there is a ATM down the street, call ahead and ask for special requests and shell put it aside for you. This is a gem in Natick, I cannot wait to return !
Lady who runs this place is one of the nicest people around, store is a bit unorganized but theres a lot of turnover so each time theres something new to find
Great to work with and an excellent selection
The owner is amazing.
This vinyl shop is unlike any other. Upon wandering inside you find yourself wandering through stacks and stacks of vinyl. It looks like a very small hurricane went through the shop, however as you look closer youll start to find order in all the chaos. Then you speak to the lady that runs the shop and she knows each and every one of the thousands of records and exactly where it is, and if she doesnt have it shell find it for you. This shop feel like its out of an older, quainter era and theres a slim chance youll be leaving empty-handed
Great selection of vinyl! The owner is super helpful locating specific genres or records. Prices are fantastic too! If you like vinyl, youll enjoy searching through this great collection.
One of the worst experiences of my life.....was told by the owner I could only buy 1 record out of a box because, and I quote, I have other customers and they might want these too.......so you turned down over $100 in sales for some customer who may or may not want one of the other records that I wanted at that moment......her and her German accent can close down for all I care.....she will never see any morec business from me
I discovered Deja vu Records about three years ago after having heard rumors about the existence of a very different and very good used LP store. Ive been going back ever since. Im a collector of mainly classical music and I have found treasure troves of vinyl at this store. Most of the discs are in very good to mint to condition. Lots of European pressings, always top quality. Prices are amazingly good and the more you buy, the better the price.Besides classical there is a great collection of jazz and of course pop and rock. I have never left the store empty handed and have sometimes left with multiple bankers boxes full of great vinyl. The place appears to be disorganized, but Eleni knows where everything is and remembers what you like. She will even write down special items you are looking for and call you let you know if she finds any of your desires as she goes around buying collections. This place is addicting, but what a great addiction!
Very easily the best record store Ive been to. Ive been looking in the downtown Boston area for records, but most of the stores had already been picked through and what was there was expensive. Here, the prices are amazing. I left with 9 records, all in very good condition for 20 dollars. The lady who works here is so kind and helpful. I told her what I was looking for and she told me where to look and brought me a chair. She said they were mostly cleaned out due to it being right after Christmas but I didnt notice. Theres a huge selection. Truly amazing place.
Its confusing for newcomers, but just tell Elaine what youre into and shell start pulling out amazing records DIRT CHEAP. She even has a box of toys to keep your kids busy while you shop! Literally the only shopping experience I enjoy.
All vinyl. Huge inventory but not sorted. They take your wishlist and find them for you. Or you can thumb through their stock.
Travel to the Boston area once a month on business. While away my home away from home is with Eleni at Deja Vu. She is so kind and works so passionately for each of her customers. She has an amazing memory of what you tell her your want list is and then really trys to find it for ya.As with any really good record store you always can find a chestnut in a random box, if your willing to dig.Go here! These type of independent stores are important!
This is not your typical record store. The owner makes this place great. She will spend a good amount of time helping you find what you are looking for. The place is a disorganized mess to the newcomer but the owner knows where everything is in the store. There are some great records in the hodgepodge that makes up this store. Rock, Pop Jazz, Classical and a large selection of 45s and CDs if you are into that. The records are not priced. Once youve found your items, bring them up to the owner to get shockingly good prices. My suggestion would be to make sure you have a good hour or more to browse around. It might take you some time, but you will leave with a couple of gems.
Deja Vu is an essential trip. The most shambolic and chaotic store Ive ever been in - also the best Ive ever visited WORLDWIDE!. The proprietor knows where everything is, and will help you look for your genre once she knows what your direction is. I loved being able to search through a combination of sorted shelves, unsorted boxes, and piles of records. I wanted rock and found it, but was also showed some cool jazz. Additionally heaps of 45s for those who like them. This may sound like an advertisement - and its because Ive never experienced a store like this. Wait till you meet the owner and youll understand. I was travelling, but still managed to visit twice - am jealous of those who live within driving distance.
I went here just looking to see what they had. Once I found them (the sign isnt they big). When I walked inside it was a record attic. Boxes everywhere. But when I started to go through the boxes I found the records I had as a kid. Take your time and youll walk out with something. I did this past week my 5th visit. 12 vinyls in near mint condition. Will always go back.
Friendliest proprietor I’ve run into in a while. She genuinely cares about helping you find what you’re looking for. Collection isn’t perfectly sorted, but isn’t the fun of going to a place like this in searching through the stacks?! Prices are very fair - the owner let me take the records, run to the bank, and then pay her upon my return! I will definitely be back.
Elaine is the sweetest. I love rifling through the records. I bought 4 classical records for 5$ (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi)
If you enjoy digging through records then you want to come here. If you like neatly categorized items then it might not be for you. This is one of the best places outside Boston to find all types of vinyl and there are many hidden gems within. She also has a selection of VHS, DVD, CD & cassette but keep in mind this is a record store. She can keep a wishlist for you if youre looking for something special and buys items as well.
This store is a gem. Eleni is fantastic and deeply cares about her customers. If you want to experience an old school record store, this is it. Ask Eleni what you are looking for, if she has it, she knows where it is. It is a thing of beauty.
Great place to find your old vinyl favorites. Stock changes constantly, but the woman that runs it will take your name and list of what your looking for and call you when it comes in. She knows her stuff and can be super helpful with your searches.
Great place for old records, in great shape. Good prices & deals too.
Very friendly owner with ridiculously good prices. Just be prepared to dig through unsorted boxes for the good stuff. They do a lot of volume so it pays to keep going back.
Vinyl is hot. Great place to get all kinds.
Very pop-and-classical-centric selection, but the gold is real gold. Prices are EXTREMELY competitive, and the owner is extremely nice and willing to show you where things you might like are.
This store is a true gem for records. Elaini is a very sweet and gracious store owner who goes above and beyond to find you the records that you want. She has a vast collection and an even more impressive knowledge of the music and is always looking to get more collections. She is very invested in her customers musical interests and will note your preferences, hunt them down and call you once she finds them. Her prices are very reasonable and she is honest about the quality and only sells you the records that are in good condition. Highly reccomend Deja Vu records for any vinyl enthusiasts.
This store is great and the lady that runs the store is very friendly. She will give you great deals on records, CDs and DVDs. The store does have a lot of records and it can get messy at times but she knows where everything is .This is a great store for record collectors or for people who love vinyl records. I like this store and go when ever I am in the area. I have been going to this store for about 4 years now.
Wonderful place to buy Vinyl. Be prepared to buy in bulk, and look through boxes that seem out of place. Very kind owner.
The store has a lot of hidden gems, and the owner is super nice on top of that.
For a collection of several hundred LPs I checked all of the local places that search found for me and this one was by far the most interested and friendly. Very fair pricing. Interested in any LPs and CDs in good condition, but most interested in jazz, blues, and rock -- willing to look over other categories. Also interested in high-end audio equipment - turntables, preamps, power amps, and the like.
All around great record store, wide selection of 12 and 7. Everything from jazz to classical to rock. You are guaranteed to find a jem here!
Great selection of USED cds and Vinyl. very friendly owner, great prices..whats not to like A++
GREAT prices, big selection, friendly owner... Wow. Loved it here. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
Outstanding unorganized connection of vinyl. Come with lots of time and an open mind. Youre not leaving without a handful of wax.
Hey, what a great experience I had (yes, that is my last name!) today, Saturday, 10th of Feb 2018. I brought in about 130 - 80s CDs (Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Moody Blues, Queen, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Allan Parsons, Pet Shop Boys, dance music, etc). I asked one price and Elena said no, that I was underselling the collection. Please go to Deja Vu Records in Natick to find great music and maybe sell your records/cds.
This store and the lady who owns it are awesome! What an amazing find
Eleni is awesome. Great inventory, great deals. A diggers paradise.
I usually only leave bad reviews, however, in my 50+ years I have never ran across such a wonderful merchant as the lady who owns this store. If everybody was like this lady, the world would be a simply amazing place....
Most Important!!! - Call the store before you visit, the hours listed online may be different than when Eleni is in the store. If you call and let her know youre on the way she will be there. This is an old school place and she comes and goes during the day to buy collections etc. Call before you visit to be 100% sure shes open. She is sometimes open on hours this google page will show as closed, just call to check. If she is there she will pick up the phone or call you back from the caller ID. Also you will need Cash/Check to pay as those are the only accepted methods.now the review:I doubt youll find a nicer person in the owner Eleni or a better shop anywhere in the country, possibly the globe. Its not your average store with things organized A-Z. There is an organization to the store in terms of genres etc but you have to look through records and boxes etc.You can find some amazing records here at amazing prices. I dont really see any other record stores with so many reviews and so many positive reviews, there is a reason why, this place is the best.Ive lived in south florida, been all over to the record shops down here and I would rather save my $$ and visit family in MA to spend it in Elenis shop. The inventory is always changing, Eleni buys a lot of collections and pays a very fair price. You can tell this because there is always a new collection in the shop or new items and there are no shortage of record shops in the boston / metrowest area that buy used records. This shop isnt out to make hand over fist profits by having items sitting around for ages to get that extra $5-10 out of someone like every other shop in the metrowest area, products here move and move fast.If youre looking for harder to find items or genres (blues, jazz, heavy metal, hard to find c-rock etc) you may not find it on your first visit but if you give Eleni a list of what you want she will call you when something comes in you may want to buy.Ive seen a lot of cool things here, original blue notes, 6 eye miles davis 1st copys in ex condition, verve originals, riverside etc on the jazz side. Cool bootlegs from rock bands that you never see anywhere, heavy metal originals, hard to find rock, floyd etc. etc... I could go on and on. Stopping by once or twice a week youll find something you want and something amazing at a price better than any other shop around. There are some amazing 45s if you like to dig, she has a lot but some of them are very rare and in great shape. I picked up a LaVern Baker Atlantic 588 with the original sleeve a couple weeks ago in great condition for exmple.Another sign that this is the place to go is the amount of reviews and the detail of the reviews. What other record shop has so many positive reviews where people find so many good records. They clearly arent worried about not finding something they want because there is so much coming and going here. She has a lot of clients so if she gets in say 10 pink floyd albums you may only be able to buy one or two because she will hold a few sometimes for other customers that are looking for these items, or she may sell you the whole lot if the price is right, you just never know. She does all she can to make her customers happy and they do keep coming back.Simply the best shop, hands down.
Was able to get rid of records the kids left behind. Gathering dust for years. Top dollar!
As others have noted, the owner is very helpful and the prices are great. Its cluttered for sure, but she knows where everything is, just ask!
A Gem! Old-school used record store. Bins of albums, no cataloging, just browse away and see what you can mine...owner is a sweetheart and prices are excellent.
Excellent shop! Very helpful, found some great stuff at a very good price!
Incredible experience!! Tons of records to choose from and extremely cheap prices. Totally recommend it to record collectors.
This place is awesome! Tons of records, friendly owner, and great prices.
Owner is great! Cheap records everywhere! Worth the trip!
My husband recently passed away and I found a stack of hair band records in the basements. On a whim, I took them here without calling ahead and found the most amazing woman. I instantly felt guilty for not calling ahead, as she was obviously busy, but she took the records and looked through them all. She thoroughly explained why she could take some but not others, paid me what I felt was MORE than a fair enough price for what she took, and then gave my daughter and I some free CDs! If you are buying or selling, you must go to Deja Vu!
Awesome owner ready to go out of the way to help you
Wow! Great selection and low prices. Jamming out to my new Grateful Dead Mars Motel album.
Responsive and fair.
Very messy and most records bought were unplayable. The woman was a little nutty and called us 3 times after we left the record store, ended up wasting 50 dollars
Lots good LPs
Favorite record store in MA, and Ive been all over!
Elenis prices seem arbitrary sometimes, she quotes you at outrageous prices for records in a specific crate, but most things can be had for a dollar or two.
The owner is an absolute peach, and has a constantly growing selection to choose from
So many treasures!
Love this place
The best
